Is anyone else reading the new Badger?
He's been reimagined as a Gulf War veteran instead of Vietnam, and the new series' tone is pretty dark and brutal, but it is dealing with Norbert's experiences in the war that drove him mad. Well, more mad.

There's only one issue out yet. I considered storytiming it ITT, but thought OP might be the writer trying to shill his indie book, and I didn;t want to steal his sales. If OP says they don't care, I can dump the first issue.

Snort, I'm not Mike Baron. I'm just shilling out of enlightened self-interest, because I'd really like to see Badger take off this time, so I can read a whole series.

The old books are great, there's a series by First, and one by Eclipse, I think there were two Dark Horse, and a graphic novel called Hexbreaker.
Also Badger used to show up in Nexus.

Maybe the industry is now ready for this kind of wild ride, post Preacher, post Hitman, post Transmetropolitan.

my god around three years ago i found a badger comic next to a counting crowes comic book in a quarter bin, and steadily and in bizzare patterns i have alternatively discovered it's history and the history of it's presence. I went from not knowing anything about badger, realizing it had three volumes worth of issues, being one of the few comics my comic book retailer commented on, to realizing it had a massive respect in it's following. All this after buying it soley because it was called badger and he was fighting i believe the puma.

Now there is new badger. stunned

I find it funny that DC has published countless stories that are meta commentaries about how grim dark is such a shallow formula, but they went full on with for their movies.

it has been long ago, since I read them.

Something about egypt gods who travelled into a torn apart earth after 2 nuclear wars.

They choose / manipulate a human who came back from a cryogenic sleep after the war,
and want to influence him into becoming a president of some sort.

I liked the drawings, the nudity and all the dirty scifi-aesthetic.

Hey /616/, I remember around Feb-March of 2014 someone posted all of "Waters of Deadmoon" on here and it was excellent stuff that I never saved, so I was wondering if anyone managed to save it (or if OP still visits) and wouldn't mind re-posting it. If so, radical, cause i've searched all over for it since then to no avail.
