>americans read dr seuss and watch sesame street and instead of finding them traumatically creepy they believe they are fun pieces of media
and they even read those "scary" stories to tell in the dark books and find them (not shitting you) to be terrifying

i have known about this for some time now and i guess it is some kind of psyop, programming at the hand of their leaders (oligarchs) or something?
are they exposed a combination of such media in order to brainwash them into fearing what is good and loving what is bad?
like, they are made to think being a soldier and shooting innocent people somehow is beneficial to anyone but their oligarch masters and that universal healthcare is bad?

will some american care to explain this whole thing to me?

Sure. You might want to watch Barney the Purple Dinosaur or perhaps Caillou if you don't like Dr Seuss or Sesame Street. Have you ever heard of Walt Disney's little company?

Actually though I think I would really like to hear your in depth analysis of why dr. suess and sesame street is related to anything else you just said. I mean I get that we have propaganda in the US but still.

>Walt Disney
that one is acceptable, but americans are still weird
they for some reason read comics with the annoying little shit mickey mouse instead of donald duck
actually, don rosa was told by his editors to not make to many stories that build on the work of cafrl barks because most americans readers were not familiar with his works

that is so fucked up

Yeah American is fucked up. We know this. They are trained from birth to be proud of their industrial military complex that stomps on the rest of the world. Hell, it even stomps on itself. But you gotta be proud.

War is old, so is sex
Let's play God, you go next
Heads go up, men go down
Try my luck, stand my ground
Die in church, live in jail
Say her name, twice in hell
Uncle Sam kissed a man
Jim Crow Jesus rose again

I like my woman in the kitchen
I teach my children superstitions
I keep my two guns on my blue nightstand
A pretty young thang, she can wash my clothes
But she'll never ever wear my pants

I pledge allegiance to the flag
Learned the words from my mom and dad
Cross my heart and I hope to die
With a big old piece of American pie

The only reason people think Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is scary is because the images in those books genuinely are. They tried a revised version of the book with more "kid friendly" pictures and it fucking tanked. Steven Gammel's work is a marvel to behold and literally why the series has such a cult following.

iirc their parents kept them like fuckin locked up and underfed so they didn't develop properly so that on top of shoddy record keeping means some of the ages are approximates.

you know, like the typical american family

Well, let me tell ya about war Godwinn. Not all soldiers particularly followed orders historically, be the WW1 Christmas truce or the admittance of not pulling the trigger because of some inner sense of wrong despite their pumping themselves up to do, perhaps as a reflection of their training, among other things... You see, these beliefs aren't intrinsic to nationality or the media they consume. The Other that is not you.

Who the fuck thinks the cat I the hat is creepy?

Also that shit was made almost a century ago while euros were still telling stories of krampus, killer trolls, and other random woods monsters that will eat children. When did you guys turn into such pussies, OP?

There we go, got it in the right thread this time.
