I just remember when someone posted it here years ago, some guy that actually knew what he was talking about said that doing this would require like a master surgeon or something.
It's not like you can just cut around and peel a face off, there's like, work you need to put in before you get something that looks like that.

And I just think given how many hours get put into horror movie props and make up, it's much much easier to believe that this a picture of that sort of thing rather than an actual face picture.

That said, I did see a horrific webm of a guy whose face had been ripped off and his eyes gouged out. I think it was a Mexican cartel thing. You didn't see the skin but he was still alive and breathing, lips cut out so it looked like he had a grotesque smile. So who knows how you do that.

Blergh.

Yeah man, I saw that exact same video. Where they were trying to cut his head off with a box cutter, and in protest he bit it and wouldn't let go. He was missing his hands as well. His face was gone and he basically looked like Red Skull. It was clearly and genuinely horrifying. That's why I hesitated to just dismiss it as fake.

That dude was a badass to just bite down on the box cutter. It was defiance on his part that was admirable. It was a really sickening video.

Yeah man I dunnoh, I got into a really dark period for a bit and I'd just binge watch people getting slaughtered. I think I was doing it to sort of validate my opinions on the nature of people. They're brutal fucking animals, and all our pretenses of love and rationality and beauty and intelligence are only upheld in 1st world countries where we can ignore all the rapes and beatings and times when we set each other on fire.

Like now I can't step into a grocery store or library and not think about how all these men and women would be raping and murdering and castrating one another if you take away their food and running water for a week or two, and maybe add some religion.

First world countries are just abstracted from it. You have people do it for you (for profit).

That doesn't take away the fact that the majority of human beings are actually NOT scum-sucking worms not worth your pinky nail clippings.

Yes, most of us would have been Nazi concentration camp guards if we were thrown into that place and time. But there are only a special few who really relish in it. Read Dostoevsky's "House of the Dead," Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning," or if you're feeling ambitious, Solzhenitsyn's "Gulag Archipelago." All of these will teach you a lot about systematized evil and how people cope with it. Very few people are actively evil. Thank fuck. The ones who are, we must do our best to eradicate from the gene pool, by sterilization or the final solution. (Ha ha ha, I did a funny ironing there.)
