Personally I hate the meds they prescribe for transition. Theyre terrible for you. Between Spironolactone,Cyprotone Acetate, and Bicalumatide there are no good options. I mean transition means that you have to take a chemotherapy drug and then take pills made for women going through menopause. Honestly having a dope habit or being an alcoholic is almost healthier than transitioning using those shitty ass pills.

yep, and the fact that you need to take hormones for the rest of your life, that pretty much the entirety of your identity is tied in with you being a perpetual pharmaceutical customer is also another crux.

But it is what it is.

You can always just cut your balls off and drink pregnant horse piss for the rest of your life. If you want the 'natural' way. The shitty way.

Speak for yourself, cypro works wonders for me.

If you're in the USA just go save up $3-4k and get Dr. Arnkoff in Detroit to do an orchi for you, deal with AA's until then. That's my plan. My doctor even works with me self medding the cypro, wonderful lady.

Going to add: I'd get an orchi done locally but it's $6000 for the cheapest surgeon here :/

yeah but then my identity is still tied to the partaking of horse piss. im not complaining, its just a bummer that the moment i stop taking estrogen pills is the moment society stops seeing me as a woman, so i keep taking estrogen pills and continue to be a pharamcutical customer.

Its just a bummer is all, as i said, it is what it is. BTW drinking pregnant horse piss is not the natural way having ovaries is the natural way, something which is unobtainable for the foreseeable future.

Cypro is definitely more effective than Spironolactone. However Cypro is fuck hard on the liver and it leads to Vitamin B deficency. Both are not ideal outcomes for someone trying to lead a healthy life.

At doses that are effective for MtFs, liver damage isn't an actual concern.

I take 12.5mg every other day, and leading research shows 10mg/day is about all that's needed for us. It's like prostate cancer doses that fuck the liver, not tranny doses.

Neither is an issue for me lol. Eat properly and b12 deficiency is impossible.

Going to add: spiro isn't even a true AA, and it also permanently stunts breast growth.

Cypro is the gold standard around the world for a good reason lol. It's way the fuck better.

Also i think you're discounting the amount of time you are on it. you cannot be on cypro for extended periods of time (2+ years) it is strongly advisable to get an orchi within that time, so Cypro is not a good option for people who either need to spend years saving for SRS or wish to not get an orchi.

He's also discounting the fact that even BIRTH CONTROL doses of progestins mixed with estrogen lead to elevated breast cancer risk in cis females.

What makes you think you're going to be safe?

I thought this was about cypro? yeah prolonged exposure to progestins can be bad. Thats not what im saying.

Being on all meds for a prolonged period is bad for you, every med. But its about minimising that damage done.

Statistically, suicide is a far greater risk. Do what makes you happy, they'll have breast cancer cured in 20 years, and even now the prognosis is good if you catch it early.

i looked up to see if this was true, seems to be all speculation. Plus I looked at the tanner stages of breast development and i think i got to stage 5 using spironolactone. If anyone else wants to explain their breast growth while using spironolactone, thatd be great and it'd build more evidence of shit they dont know about

Depends on the tranny i suppose. Most girls who start HRT at a decent age and dont starve themselves come out with pretty alright boobs. Which is a shame because a lot of trans girls do starve themselves or develop a heroin or meth addiction which fucks with their boob growth more than anything spiro related as those junkies tend to neglect nutrition and food, especially meth heads.

But i mostly compare myself to other girls rather than other trannies.

Its not possible. they are experimenting at the moment. they have transferred a womb from cis woman to cis woman so far but it requires them to take anti-rejection drugs for the rest of their life or their body will reject it, so that seems to be the major hurdle at the moment.

>no good options
A pretty healthy regimen is intramuscular estrogen, micronized progesterone if you want, and bicalutamide as needed.
Bicalutamide has no real side effects in most cases. And you can take a relatively small dose relative to chemo doses.
You can also get an orchi and then you don't need any AAs.

Really it's not so bad.

Don't female reproductive organs have major effects on the body? I'm pretty sure a stem cell version would less likely be rejected since it's the persons own genetics.

Probably, but you're not talking tomorrow you're talking at least another decade or two and even then it would likely be expensive as hell.

Anti rejection drugs are what they use now, maybe stem cells will fix the issue, afaik they havent tested it.
