So I'm doing 4 autoflowers in a 4x4 tent and so far im just in the seedling phase. Right now for lighting I'm using a Bestva 1000w LED light. This one to be exact.

https://www.amazon.com/BESTVA-Spectrum-Dual-Chip-Growing-Hydroponic/dp/B01871AHTC/ref=asc_df_B01871AHTC/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167139575215&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=41097440329422965&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9002107&hvtargid=pla-306502545791&psc=1

My questions are
1) Will one be sufficient? I have read some people say that 2 is ideal but I'm not sure if that's overkill. Should I get any more lighting, maybe a couple smaller Mars hydros?

2) How high should my light be from the plants? I've seen recommendations everywhere from 12-30" so I'm not sure what to believe is best. Right now I have my at about 18".

Appreciate any advice!

That should be enough light for 4 autos, you should end up pleased with the per-plant yield and wondering if you could have grown 10-20 more of them in the same tent. Most autos yield in the 1-2 ounce range and 1000w is enough light to grow about 30 ounces. I bet your plants come out looking luxurious as fuck with that setup.

Thanks for the advice! I've been obsessing over making sure I have the perfect amount of lighting so it definitely makes me feel better to hear my current setup should be good enough. I think what I'll do is have my first grow with this setup and see how it turns out, then go from there.
