Bump to the OP for making me notice I like fast rave like music a lot while on cyclizine. Also, bumping in cyclizine. Strong reverb and echo style synthesizer space music also hits the spot greatly now, so the link.

About to take DPH for the first time soon, does music add much to a trip? What classifies as /del/ worthy music anyways?
Floyd !lEVA02JLzI - Wed, 15 Mar 2017 21:04:33 EST ID:+NVBDnI3 No.153250 Ignore Report Quick Reply
Not the first time I've shared this on /del/, and still insist it's a pretty del song all the same

Betsy Punnerson - Thu, 16 Mar 2017 03:03:46 EST ID:PACPeeg1 No.153253 Ignore Report Quick Reply
I wouldn't necessarily say music adds to the trip so much as the trip adds to your experience of the music. The DPH will greatly improve your appreciation of most any music, especially stuff that's rhythmic and/or has complex lyrics (not that the lyrics will make sense to you at the time).

Definitely have some music you like ready to listen to without having to look through your library to find it, depending on how much you take it might be impossible to get that task done and if you get uncomfortable, which you will on DPH, it'll be good to have something to take your mind off it a little

yooo ive heard this song multiple times and didnt even connect it with del. this song is definitely about del.

"Can't sleep...
3 a.m., stare at the ceiling, murder the feeling
Spider crawl in the corner, brown recluse"

"Alone don't mean that you lonely
Alone means you finally get it, admit it
Go home, lock up the door, fold up the clothes
Watch cartoons for an hour, turn off the lights
Look at the recluse, look at the recluse"

i mean holy shit
Floyd !lEVA02JLzI - Fri, 17 Mar 2017 09:07:04 EST ID:+NVBDnI3 No.153273 Ignore Report Quick Reply
Well, he's referring to himself as the brown recluse, and iirc the 3am thing is a reference to an eminem song. I just thought the lyrics were so coincidental and even the atmosphere of the song was really /del/

what's funny is I've had somebody say this
>yooo ive heard this song multiple times and didnt even connect it with de
before twice now that i've posted this in a similar thread here in /del/, usually saying something like "I can never see the song the same way again lol", lol

God fucking damn music is mind blowing on dph for some reason. I love listening to 80s tunes for my dph trips. The Smiths really know how to compliment the impending doom feeling from dph lol

I know self promotion is generally frowned upon in places like this but a large portion of my music was inspired by DXM and DPH. Keep in mind some of these were recorded while I was still getting over recording anxiety.

Don't Go to Eeriel

Ridiculously Addicted - About my DPH induced trip to the ER and subsequently the psych ward

Heart as Cold as My Liver is Black (The Unthinkable)

These Days (The Unthinkable pt. II) - Probably my favourite of all of these

never thought someone would reply, im happy lol.

This inspired me to burn a cd tonight for my dph trip feat. The Smiths. The dph makes them sound extra dark and haunting, I love it. One thing I'll never regret with dph is all the nights I've spent blasting my burned cds to 80s tunes and dancing around my room all disorientated with my strobes lights dancing along with me.

Here is my recommendation for tonight.

>The Sugarcubes - Coldsweat

Bjork's vocals and those guitar riffs, perfect teenage angst song, and it sounds so amplified on dph.

With no tolerance, I'd say 350-450mg. The body load can suck, but it'll add to the atmosphere that the music brings about.

Fuk yeah man, love me some teratoma 8)

But yeah, here's another favorite of mine when delirious. This is a layered song, so it has 2 versions of the same song played slightly differently overlapping each other. It makes for a perfect sense of that cloudy mind benadryl brings.

Things I've really enjoyed on benadryl are Sneaker Pimps, Modest Mouse, My Chemical Romance, Brand New.
I just recently started listening to Russian folk music lmao I'd be interested to see how that might sound but I can't do benadryl anymore bc i'm on a ton of meds.

Man, I remember like a year and a half ago some guy uploaded his /dis/ and /del/ inspired electronic music album and it was great, but I lost it with my phone...
It had like 14 or so songs, which if I remember correctly included titles like "frogs", "atlas" "jumping kicking", the titles were all real far out and the songs had no lyrics, just music.
Anyone remember that album? would really love to listen to it again.
