Whenever I quit smoking weed after long term heavy use I find that little things will have me literally screaming in rage and breaking things.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes. If you want to get rid of it try physical excercises or just let the rage out. If this is not an option then think about something else (for example cats) whenever raging situation occurs

Can only agree.
Felt like shit on my second day sober, but then I went to boxing practice and holy shit, just a like 15 minutes in I felt so fucking great. Sparring was great to relieve my pent-up anger.

I've been sober for 86 days now and I'm still mad about it. I think normal anger management techniques apply, deep breathing, counting backwards from 100 or 1000, etc.

Exercise is also a good option.
