OI thought you dudes might find this interesting.

A Raleigh, North Carolina, man accused of killing his wife told a 911 dispatcher that he took too much cold medicine and woke up to find her "dead on the floor."

Early Friday morning, Matthew Phelps, 28, called 911 and told the dispatcher, "I had a dream and then I turned on the lights and she's dead on the floor."

"I have blood all over me and there's a bloody knife on the bed," Phelps said. "I think I did it."

"I can't believe this," he said.

The Raleigh Police Department released the audio from the 911 call but redacted some information and altered the caller's voice.

Phelps told 911, "I took more medicine than I should have." He said he "took Coricidin Cough & Cold," explaining, "a lot of times I can't sleep at night."

The dispatcher asked if the victim was awake, and Phelps responded, "She's not breathing. Oh my God."

The dispatcher asked if the victim was beyond help, and Phelps emotionally said, "I don't know. I'm too scared to get too close to her. ... I'm so scared."

Sobbing, Phelps said, "She didn't deserve this."

Officers responded and found Matthew Phelps' wife, 29-year-old Lauren Phelps, with stab wounds. She was hospitalized and later died.

That wont happen from DXM alone. You need either mind control, severe brain damage, other drugs or a mixture of those.

-a dxm vet

This, I took myself to the hospital when I sigma'd by accident because I could feel myself slowly losing it, dangerously close to a psychotic break.

I have tripped ever-loving balls before, dmt, lsd, 4th plat dxm (just barely), combos, but I'm really interested in this sigma plateau. I've slowed my roll heavily after some hallucinogenic binges, but I think I'd be willing to experiment with the fourth (more) and possibly fifth plats. Dex is my home. Through everything, this is the key to god and novelty. I find bliss in /dis/, enlighten me on the highest reaches of the landscape if you would>?

I took like 2.1g of DXM over the course of five days - 708mg on a Friday night, 708mg two days later on Monday, and then another 708mg two days later on Wednesday. On Friday I still wasn't down all the way, and things were getting really weird - whenever I filled a glass with water, it would fill in 'slow motion'. The clothes dryer frightened me when I got near it while it was running. So I checked my heart rate and BP and temp and they were way too high and rising, temperature 103F, so it seems my body lost the ability to regulate my temperature/blood pressure/heart rate and my mind was going into a state of constant panic. So I took myself to the hospital, and the entire I felt like I was 'losing it'. I got there, waited an excruciating 5 minutes to be checked in, and then they took me in and started IVs and asked me a lot of questions. After 6 hours with some fluids, an EKG, anti-anxiety meds and blood/urine tests, I was discharged. Not really fun. The odd part about it is that this happened two days after taking the last dose, but I had it coming for not obeying the plat-per-week rule.

I've taken more doses than you have. I actually do things on DXM too - I don't lay in a bed watching TV, or post threads asking people for suggestions of what I should watch while I'm high. I don't even watch TV.

"Jackoff" "fuck you, bro"

Go smoke some weed, buddy. Being woke doesn't make you kind. Most kind people have easy lives with no struggle in them.

Go back to sleep like a good goy, basically?
Being 'woke' not making you kind is irrelevent. Not watching TV doesn't make you pretentious either, making a point of telling everyone as much as well as how much/many drugs you can take - that certainly comes across as pretentious.

But hey, whatever man. Have fun being better than us because you have taken/can take more drugs than some of us.
