I recently had a really unpleasant dream in which I snuck through a house and stabbed a baby through a duvet using a pair of scissors.
I didn't enjoy it in the dream and I certainly don't relish the memory, but I'm worried I might be going crazy or something.
Does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing?

Last night I had this dream where I got these huge, nasty boils on my arm. I popped one of 'em and it was just like this giant ball of pus that came out of it.

Then my arm fell off and I kept it wrapped in plastic bags until I could find a way to reattach it. I would mess around with it though and move the joints around like it was an action figure, or something. Eventually it felt like the wrist or something had broken because it went limp or started moving further than I think it should have. I took it out of the bag and the bone was broken, and there were large, V-shaped slices of meat missing from both sides of the wrist. It was all fucked up.

I remember being like "FUCK, NOW I DON'T HAVE AN ARM ANYMORE", but as I was saying this, I was real animated about it and noticed that I inexplicably had an arm in its place, and got real confused.

I gotta get rid of this fever, man. I hate these dreams.

Today I had a dream where I smoked weed with some boys and girls and then went away. I feel really nice and relaxed but a cop smells the weed on me and starts chasing through the city. He finally catches on the roof of a tall building when tells me he's not chasing me to arrest me but because he really wants some weed. Not a disturbing dream but I wanted to share because it's quite funny.

Fucking hell. Dreamt about a lesbian couple that had put a black female midget instead of a dildo on a strapon, and fucked eachother up the ass with it, though only with the head of the midget. Before every time they put her in again she would shout shit like "I'M GOING IN" or "PUT ME TO USE", etc, while laughing

And the dream segment before that everyone had made clay jew noses that they wore, don't remember the dream itself though, just that.

Body horror dreams are the worst.

I once had a dream in which my left arm was infected with these small holes with plastic yellow trim that would grow yellow erasers. It itched extremely bad and I tried to scratch them away, and then they would fall off after vigorous scratching only to grow back faster. Probably the worst dream I've ever had tbqh.

That's generally how it occurs for most people except the exceedingly rare times it simply happens by chance or some sleep disorder is at play (or taking some kind of sleeping medication). That or attempts at lucid dreaming. I've had sleep paralysis 40+ times easily with only 3 of the times not being something I'd consider induced on my own.

Either that or incredibly relaxed
When I'm really relaxed I slowly descend into sleeping and that usually involves sleep paralysis, but the good kind where your room turns into a cool forest or something and there's no panic about not being able to move.

But yeah when I'm stressed I get the typical "demonic" sleep paralysis where shit in my environment is flying around or there's someone there and I can't tell if it's actually happening or not.

I went into this museum at night, and down in the archives all these fossils and stuff were coming back to life and crawling around. There were three tall aliens in the center hall, and from the mezzanine I could see the stuff below moving around, like giant lizards and bugs/sea creatures. They wanted me to give them something but I wanted to know what they were going to use it for, and like... get something for it. And they just said that it was for humans and I was ultimately helping myself by giving it to them. They didn't speak with their mouths, they just kind of answered me telepathically. But I guess I was followed because a swat team busted in the entrance- I panicked and gave the data to the aliens on this little chip thing, and they were like "you did the right thing, good luck tho" and just kinda blinked away. I had to jump down into the flooded archives to escape, but there were giant crocodiles and shit so I ran into some sewer tunnels. There were stairways leading down and all the water was flowing down the steps. There were also all these mirrors on the walls as I went down, I couldn't see myself in them though so I broke through one and it was a one-way mirror with an empty office on the other side. I went through the office and came out in a hallway, there were swat officers in there telling me that there was sensitive information and I couldn't be back there. I started shapeshifting and attacking them with my tentacle arms but that's where it fades and I don't remember what happened, which is usually the case when I shapeshift too much.
Does anyone have an analysis or opinion on this that they'd like to relate? I don't have lots of people irl that I can talk to about this stuff.

Recurring dream as a child by Ernest Debbermurk - Mon, 13 Feb 2017 16:46:59 EST ID:qllgrgHS No.45488 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

I used to have this recurring dream when I was a child. Maybe from the time I was four up until 7, I'd have this dream maybe four times a year on average, but the dream was always the same.
I was standing in a big field of grass, and on the hill there was these old, western style hourses. Almost like a ranch. I'd watch a woman in a pink dress attire, and pink hat walk outside with a stroller.
That's when she stopped dead in her tracks and looked right at me. At this point I would struggle to catch my breath, and It felt as if i was being suffocated. At this point I always knew that I was in the dream again, and would try to force myself awake, but to no prevail.
I'd wake up maybe a minute later, gasping for air.

Does anyone know what this could mean? Could it be a spiritual message of some kind, or just some repressed trauma causing it?
Any thoughts would be appriciated.
>Woman wore this kind of old dress, but in all pink

Another thing to add that I find very strange, is that at this age I did not know of western culture, and atleast not that detailed. Everything from the houses, to her dress/hat to the stroller, everything was straight out of history when I recall it many years later. How could my four year old self have dreamt up that detailed scenario?
Just a thought that's been bothering me for quite some time.

Hey Ernest. This might not be the answer you were looking for and feel free to disregard this, but I speculate that this woman may be you from a past life. Given the historical context and cultural differences you describe, I feel that it could very well be the case. Not to mention that you claim to have had these dreams as a child, when people are supposedly better at recalling details from past lives. I myself have had similar dreams of past lives, and even though I know it's a dream it still feels like more than that, like a memory. The fear and discomfort you feel are probably due to the unsettling awareness that you are dead / have died, and wanting to wake up just means that you want to return to your body and regain consciousness. I know the whole spiritual angle isn't too popular here, but I wanted to say that this isn't abnormal and other people experience stuff like this too. If you feel there's something she needs to say, listen. If you want to tell her something, do it. You construct your own identity. We all change with time but it is important to consider what you have experienced, and who you want to become. I hope that you see her again, make peace with the past, and continue to grow.

I was walking around my high school but it was different.. it was a big facility with white wall hallways and was very confusing to get around. it was the first day of the semester and I was already late. I walked past my first period classroom and the teacher was standing facing the doorway handing out sheets to students walking in. I decided in that moment to skip class and I got lost. I ended up in this back yard court yard and there were many obstacles and ladders to the top of the building. Near the top it became really difficult and looking down I started to get terrified. I got to the top, and on the top of the building was a few keyboards and pianos and a sign that said "VERY VERY BAD BAD BAD IDEA". I looked down and there was nothing but a rubber diving board below me and I was dangling on a ladder made of rope. I woke up in a cold sweat.

what does this mean?

Sounds like you're craving adventure, but you know that you can't just get up and go and do whatever you want in the world. Maybe you'd had an experience in the past where you wanted to do something but were warned that it was dangerous.

The school setting stems from the fact that you have either recently been thinking about the past or about some sort of schooling, maybe.

Dreaming about being back in your highschool is one of the most common dream settings though. It's like THE generic dream setting.

Remember, dreams aren't secret messages from your secret angel giving you tips about shit. It's a conglomeration of little subtle thoughts that have been going on in your head, and what you're doing is picking apart the subconscious thoughts that were powerful enough to end up in your dream.

There's no definite interpretation every time; sometimes you just think of things just because. For example, I thought of a brownie right now just because. I don't even like brownies or anything.

But the combination of everything in your dream may create connections you haven't thought about.

For example, maybe the obstacles have to do with the fact that you found it difficult to do adventurous things outside of school, especially because there was a guilt inside you that made it harder?
Lots of fun stuff to think about

You know, that's a curious thought. While a dream often can be surreal in a way that will display itself as jaunting, smell doesn't seem to be something that will typically merit a description. I wonder what weird smells a dream can offer a person. What a perverted, unintelligibly absurd and primal world something like a dog might sleep through

Withdrawals are known to cause vivid dreams. Also, when you're on that border between waking and sleep (for any reason), dreams tend to be very vivid and memorable. People actually find ways of purposefully doing this in order to provoke vivid or lucid dreams, such as going back to sleep after waking up in the morning. When you're in this gray area between dreams and reality, however, the two do tend to blend - this is when your real alarm clock, the actual doorbell, your true barking dog become part of the dream. These sorts of sounds are loud and alarming and can easily make their way into the loose dream, sort of wedging themselves into that inch of consciousness and prying until you're fully awake. For you, however, it wasn't a blaring alarm.. it was intense, intense farts which passed the threshold of your sleeping senses and made their way into your delicate dream state, the very real olfactory stimulus mixing with the hallucinatory situation in order to create the dream which you experienced, influenced by the smell of shit.

That's really weird because I know the exact feeling in a dream. My friend was renovating his house a couple of years ago and he ended up installing this sliding bathroom door which allowed you to hear everything from the living room - farts while taking a shit, drip drops of piss, everything.

One night, I had a dream that the toilet was IN the living room and I had to take a shit.. so I sat on it and started lightly farting, tinkling piss, just trying to get it going but my butthole kept sputtering while I was attempting to chill with my mates and be casual about it.

Does this happen to anyone else? This has happened sincd I was a little kid. Once in a while I'll have an oddly-realistic dream in a setting like: an argument with my parents, me being in an unknown place talking to people I've NEVER seen before

But then Years willl pass, or even a couple months, and I'll say "hoo shit, I literally dreamt this moment". I just had one where I was sitting at the office at work.

What does this imply about fate, destiny, and life? Am I supposed to see these things? Is life predetermined? I had a dream about being eaten by an alligator at a pool, does this mean I'm going to die in florida?

Given how shitty most memories of dreams are, how can you be sure you aren't dreaming similar situations and having memories of what happened more or less super-imposed on the spot because they simply fit well enough? That and how common are the occurrences that you dream about. Arguments aren't that uncommon, nor are they with family, nor are interactions with family in general. Almost all instances of people saying they've seen the future with dreams that I've read about involve rather common occurrences in life, even if not necessarily in their own, and they all seem to happen at least a few weeks later if not months or years.

Just think about it, how easy is it to apply a dream that happened months or years ago to something that's happened and say you dreamed of a future event? How is that telling the future? You can dream of any random thing and then have it fucking happen, lol, that's not an indication of futuresight--it's just a coincidence. Life is full of coincidences, some are more apparent than others.

If you have a dream about eating a specific breakfast cereal while talking to your parents about something that happened to you the other day and then you find yourself in that same situation 2 days later and it's pretty much "identical", are you actually seeing the future? A claim like that is basically what you're making, and quite frankly its pretty far-fetched. Everything could be predestined and shit, but the likelihood of you seeing the future in dreams is exceedingly low and whether or not destiny or fate it exists is hardly something we can make a statement about because you had a dream a year ago about something really similar that happened later.

I just spent several hours drinking and browsing the boards. Before I crawled into bed I was last browsing the political board. I had a dream where I had a meeting scheduled with Trump in some fancy unspecified building. Note that I have never before dreamed of encountering a well known person. We saw each other at opposite ends of the hallway. We walked up to each other and I said, "Mr. President, hello, I'm Anon Anonerson." He looked at me kind of confused and asked, "Yes... are you with the IMF...?" I was suddenly so nervous to be speaking with the President of America, even a casual hallway conversation, that I completely forgot whatever I was supposed to say and stood there in painful embarrassing silence, until after 10 seconds ago I just said, "Mr. President, I am totally unprepared. I'll talk to you later." He just kind of flashed me a look of pity then walked away shaking his head.

What does this mean? Has the mass media system successfully embedded its memes in my brain?

I sometimes have dreams where I'm on stage and I forget what music I'm supposed to play, and I feel unprepared and like a goof out of place and everyone is watching.
It has happened IRL many years ago when I was a kid, and I still play music so the setting of being on a stage is relevant to me.
Maybe you feel or felt unprepared about something, and it took the shape of meeting the President in a hallway because you were browsing the political board, so it was relevant to you.

It probably also helps that Trump is trying to project a professional image of himself. I've been watching the White House broadcasts on Youtube and he is acting different to when he was on the campaign trail.
