I think I have a minor problem.
I drank all of this alone.
Not to mention the can of beer I always drink on the way home from the store.

I don't really get how you even do it, OP. When I drink, I usually try to get really drunk. The end result being that the last thing I want the day after is more alcohol, thereby safeguarding me from alcoholism

This. At first I was like, lemme be the judge of that OP. And then I was like, oh shit son those are all wine bottles how you do this in a night, but then I was all, "oh you mean that's just one week? pfft"

But, then again, I am one of those cases where I had bottles of Everclear and wound up in the hospital more than once due to my drinking as well as having to have a conversation with the cops, so fair warning OP. You're not there yet, but
>drinking on the way home
damnit you sure are trying. If you impress /hooch/ you probably smuggled a device into the detox ward to post it. PROTIP there are many fabulous ways to smuggle pills into a hospital or jail, but detox wards less so.Also a lot of belt loops in your pants are two layers of fabric an excellent place to hide a SIM card, pills, a small razor blade for plastic zip cuffs etc.

Yeah I know right? He even says to "survive". Like having 1.5 beers a week would do anything.

the 7 bottles of wine would be brutal if just one sitting, but title says it's a week, so a bottle by oneself a day is maybe a little heavy, but the 6 beers/ciders are simply part of a fully balanced diet. speaking of, I hope you drink more water than just that.
what's the one with the black screw-top?

Look, we're just not impressed. In a few years, you might look back at a week like that and consider it a relatively sober one.

Anyway, bragging about how much you drink is uncouth.

"Portwine"? You mean Port? Yeah, and what? I used to polish off a bottle of the stuff in an evening no problem when I drank more. In fact I'd start out with a bottle of port or sherry before going out drinking.

A little over a bottle of wine a night, while it will cause problems over longer periods of time, is hardly even enough to get drunk for most adults.

i only drink liquor or beer after hearing too many horror stories from various accomplices regarding wine hangovers.

obviously my choices don't make sense but i still want to know. 6-8 shots over a couple hours gets me plenty drunk without ruining the next morning, where can i get with a regular-sized bottle of inexpensive wine?

Well the issue with wine is that you'd get a significantly worse hang over from a comparable drunkenness.
Something about the phenolyiecs and sulfites contributing to the diuretic and overall toxicity of the ethanol which is already in itself pretty toxic and diuretic.

Anyway iirc 7 shots is almost exactly half a standard 750ml bottle of liquor and at 40% abv you're looking at about 1.5 to 2 bottles of wine for the same drunkeness.
Wine always makes me sloppier and sleepier drunk which "feels" stronger but it's really just the negative effects which I usually use to gauge my intoxication being ampliefied, not the ethanol intoxication itself.

Anyway I digress, half a bottle of liquor is roughly 1.5 to 2 bottles depending on the strength of either.

did some booze math. 750ml is 25.3oz, shot glasses are usually 1.5oz, like 16.8 shots in a bottle.

the rest of that makes sense though. with one bottle of wine i'd risk a headache and still not get lit.

Yeah you're right. I did zero math. Just counted the shots of a bottle a few times and memered wrong.
Wine is the stress off booze
