So I don't really know about this stuff because I don't care enough to be involved, but right now I care just enough to ask about it.

I watch cartoons by a lot of animators on the net. My favorites are Harry Partridge, Max Gilardi, and, to an extent, Spazkid. Now, I say "to an extent" because it seems the guy has a real hate-on for a number of other animators. I can understand his feelings toward Rina-chan and Kirbophor (sp?) since they are pretty much the lowest common denominator in terms of "lol random" appeal. Still, they do their thing and that doesn't really bother me.

I saw a video Spazkid did recently where he scathingly mocked Wacky Game Jokes 4 Kidz by Max Gilardi (HotDiggedyDemon). It was basically "BRRGLJSLDJG CURSING AND SWEARING! I HATE VIDEO GAMES! I'M A GIRL GAMER AND I'M DUMB! RUDE TO PEOPLE BLLLLPPPHBT!" and I felt uncomfortable. Spazkid and Demon seem like two guys who would be on the same page, who would get along. Why this rudeness from Cory? I didn't even understand the parody - isn't WGJ4K a parody of itself, essentially? Mickey's a character, everyone in it is a stupid made-up character, and I'm pretty sure Gilardi actually loves video games, which is the joke. Why is this rage inducing?

just saw this chan had a flash board and I've been toying around with it for the past few weeks trying to use it for what i do. i work as a VJ who mixes live visuals on projectors and i've been toying around with flash to make audio-reactive visuals with the help of actionscript. i've been only using very basic code such as:

var audiofft1:Number

clip1.onEnterFrame = function(){
this._alpha = Math.random()*40
this._xscale = audiofft1
this._yscale = audiofft1
}

stop()

i've been very happy with the results so far but does anyone have some extra bits of code to add or toy around with that might manipulate my animations in an interesting way?

hey whats up this this? wasn't someone gonna hack this, replace guy with chick or furry or something? it's been what, a year or so, and nothing.

I'm trying to get the latest update of flash player installed, and it says it can't open the main bundle. I can't watch Hulu, Colbert, and now even Adult Swim is out of reach. Does anyone have any advice for me? Obviously, there's a conflict somewhere. I may just break down and reinstall my OS and start from zero, but I'd rather not if it can be avoided.
