well i hope people post their pics and the next person who posts gives kudos or nit-picks the previous poster.. here i go

-more than one type of ammo is silly (my firearms are both .22)
-what you have there must weigh upwards of 25lbs (mine is 6.5)
-why carry anything glass (bottles, jars)
  • like that you have various sources of light
-more than one sweed-fire is useless, it'll take years to go through one
+a compass .. good call
-smokes.. really?

My personal view on how the above poster will bite it..

You'll be leaning against an old farm fence, taking a break from running or hiking. Since you smoke, you'll be short of breath from all the crap you're carrying. While you take your smoke break you realize two of the glass jars in your back pack have broken spilling it's contents all through out your gear, destroying your map and your binoculars. After throwing out all the crap that got fucked up in your pack you pick up what ya have left and head towards town. Little do you realize those whom you've been running from smelled your cigs when ya lit up.... they're closing in. Try not to hack up a lung when you're running full sprint to the "empty" barn close by. Good luck.

Here's mine. About 33 pounds. I have a good deal of wilderness experience so I go camping style. Cigarettes are for bartering, medical supplies as well. I assume ammo is interchangeable between weapons. Revolver doesn't break. I try to stay in suburban environments, using zipties to close doors and stay somewhat stationary.

I use the whiskey and cigarettes to get better deals with barters. Chaotic neutral.

Your packing light, which is good. I don't think you need a backpack like that if you are packing that light. I also don't think you need 2 firearms with you. I noticed you don't have any food/water with you, which is the biggest problem with your setup. Not even a canteen if you find some water? I'm going to assume you have a lot of survival skills and knowledge with that setup, because you have no means of constructing shelter.

I have a canteen, and a blanket and ropes for constructing shelters. Always can get water containers, and assuming water. Iodine for purifying water. The revolver weighs a pound loaded, and in case the helical bizon mag jams it's nice to have something invincible.

Watch, phone, keys, knife, flashlight (my edc)

More medical supplies then needed

Decent navigation skills

Duct tape, cordage, zippo, multitool, and wire cutters are all common life savers for me

Flares in my truck. (Along with basicly everything else mentioned)

Tea is my favorite drink.

MRE's, protein bars, survival rations, etc. are all disgusting. In my experiences with them i would rather scavenge and go hungry for longer then get incredibly sick adjusting to such a terrible diet.

The fire axe is a weapon / tool combination for me to access areas, etc. I own a shotgun and .22 for home defense and recreation but i dont honestly store enough ammo for long term situations.

Thanks for the criticisms.
I only chose the jar because they didn't have the option of having canned mixed vegtables, which is what I actually have. I'm in the army and have always smoked, it's never really affected my cardio in any significant way, and I'm used to a heavy pack. I also have more than one sweed-fire in case I lose it or it gets damaged etc etc. AS for the ammo, it's just what I have.

No need for too much survival stuff as they fight in the cities.

Oh and also to cut down on weight I would take the standard axe head and cut a smaller tomahawk style handle and attach the axe head to that. That way I can cut more precisely and have the option to change the handle to a larger size if I needed to cut larger sized wood.

This is the likely shit that I would loot and pack around with me, I'd likely make a nest with other survival essentials, food and anything else that I looted. Yes I would loot literature and bring it with me. The cigarettes for trading was a good idea, provided you could trust people. I'd probably just carry around a pistol and a machete.

Alright after playing with the site some more this is what I came up with. Only thing I don't own is the .22 pistol. Until I get one I'd have to replace it with my 9mm Glock and find some room for some spare rounds. The shotgun shells on the butt of the shotgun is supposed to represent a butt stock ammo holder.

I did this legit, assuming I just woke up one day and everyone in my family was dead, I'd be able to secure everything. My dad owns the gun, not me, but I know where it is, and if he was gone, I'd take it.

Everything else is in my room though.

I also live in a California desert environment, so as little clothes and as minimal as possible is best in this region, I think. It gets pretty hot, but resources are everywhere. I love next to a lot of creeks, ponds, rivers and shit.

Yeah, well excuse me if that website has shitty choices when it comes to feed. i got plenty of fucking cans, like sliced tomatoes, chicken soup, chili, etc. in my pantry. but guess what? the website doesn't have any of those listed.

like i said, i was trying to be realistic, and thus was putting the only things i had. if they had some tomatoes or chili to pick from, i would've put those opposed to chocolate and chips.

don't diss the Coke though. coke is full of caffeine and sugars, and are a great pick-me-up and can make you get in the mood to be productive. i'm actually addicted to the shit right now, and ideally would want some to ween myself off of in a apocalyptic situation.

Yeah okay. No gas mask, no IR or nightvision, reliance on daylight target acquisition, no grenade launcher to fling all that WP any significant range all against an enemy combatant who only moves at night, has 4 chances to destroy heavy armor and radio transmission equipment, poison gas, thermal sights on a suppressed rifle designed to use multiple situational types of ammunition and you're only wearing a flak jacket... you'd have no chance.

That's not even with me making up some shit about the smart phone having a direct line to a few hacked Israeli predator drones.

As a member of the IDF, it's implied that I've completed training to withstand tear gas and smoke grenades. So your poison gas is really the only lasting threat. Also, if you're close enough to use either of those grenades then you're close enough to come in direct contact with my white phosphorous, which wound burn off all that loose clothing you're wearing.

Speaking of loose clothing, that trench coat and all those sling pouches will only impede your mobility at night. Then all that tactical headgear will impede your ability to differentiate environmental noises from my footfall (hint I'll be stalking you long before I actually take the kill shot, which will probably follow a WP grenade lobbed at your tent in broad daylight [lol]).

On the other hand, most of my equipment is strapped to my body, meaning I could easily drop my backpack and Galatz and still be able to sprint while shooting my Uzi, lobbing a grenade or unsheathing my bayonet if I really need to....You're right, my flak jacket will not keep me safe from your VSS but it will provide ample protection from your explosives. I have no tent because I would (try to) sleep squatter style.

>As a member of the IDF, it's implied that I've completed training to withstand tear gas and smoke grenades

The smoke grenades are for me you moron. They're cover while I make my dashing and heroic escape from your giant Jewnose proboscis.

>So your poison gas is really the only lasting threat.

Did you forget about the rifle? Yknow, the fully suppressed one with the thermal optics?

>Also, if you're close enough to use either of those grenades then you're close enough to come in direct contact with my white phosphorous, which wound burn off all that loose clothing you're wearing.

Provided you even know to use them and I'm close enough for you to throw them. I'm not going to walk up to you shouting "HEY IM HERE TOSS IT TO ME!". No, I'm going to be 200m away in the dark at 3am looking at your brightly glowing head through my scope and waiting for you to nod for a moment.

>Speaking of loose clothing, that trench coat and all those sling pouches will only impede your mobility at night.

How do you figure when I'm trying to move as slowly and quietly as possible in the first place. If anything it's a barometer to tell me when I'm being too loud.

>Then all that tactical headgear will impede your ability to differentiate environmental noises from my footfall

Not really no. Plus I have nightvision, you don't. I don't need to hear you, I'll see you long before you see me or either of us can hear each other.

>(hint I'll be stalking you long before I actually take the kill shot, which will probably follow a WP grenade lobbed at your tent in broad daylight [lol]).

Jokes on you, that's where I've put some of my C4 and a gas grenade so the poison is propelled in a really nice big cloud, which you have zero protection against. It's a trap

Stalking? You're a blind ape trying to find a big cat in the savannah.

>On the other hand, most of my equipment is strapped to my body, meaning I could easily drop my backpack and Galatz and still be able to sprint while shooting my Uzi, lobbing a grenade or unsheathing my bayonet if I really need to....

Provided you get even remotely close to me while I'm tweaked out of my mind and looking everywhere for you with both night vision and thermal imaging yeah, you might just have a chance. You'd really have to surprise me though and it would be entirely my fault.

>You're right, my flak jacket will not keep me safe from your VSS but it will provide ample protection from your explosives. I have no tent because I would (try to) sleep squatter style.

C4 isn't flak. It's a highly dense explosive. It kills with a shockwave and incineration if you're that unlucky. Flak jackets are for protection against shrapnel. And yeah while you're busy sleeping out in the open with less speed on you than I have, provided I don't let you 'find me' first, I'll be creeping around looking for you.

Your only possible strategy is to either somehow survive my first shot (unlikely if I get the drop on you, which I probably will) is to pump yourself full of meth and morphine, dig down, pop a few WP grenades around you to obscure my thermal scope and start firing at wherever you think I am. You'll run out of ammo pretty quickly though and then it's just a matter of time. I have more ammo, food and meth. I can outlast you if it comes to that.

It's cool that you're a big Israel fanboy and all but I just don't see it happening, sorry.

LOL, how long has this been your wet dream...

>If anything it's a barometer to tell me when I'm being too loud.
>I don't need to hear you

Really? Your gas mask won't make it any more difficult to hear?
So are you going to totally disregard one of your best natural assets in total favor of battery powered gadgets?
Is that solar charger for your smart phone or does it also power the lithium batteries you'll need for everything else to work?

It strikes me that at some point in time you won't have the necessary juice to power all of that gear that gives you the techie edge you depend on EACH NIGHT. All it takes is one unlucky night where your night vision is on the fritz and any typical survivor (not even me) will become a real problem for you.

>Jokes on you
White phosphorous would destroy your tent and, unless you're sleeping with your gas mask on, the toxins will cause organ failure and eventually death. You can't outrun WP if it comes in contact with you.

Wouldn't it make more sense to save all those advantageous gadgets for situations when you're forced to fight off your enemy at night?
What would stop someone from shooting up your campsite at long range, just to fuck with you (since you know most people won't be sleeping in when the sun comes out, this simple fact makes your campsite an obvious target)?
What do you do when the first few jackasses who spot you blow off a limb and end up depleting your stash of C4 you're using to set traps?

Most people will be fully awake and alert at the time when you're resting up for that big night hunt. All of this can be solved by using what your momma gave you son: your eyes and ears! You can still be stealthy without thermal imaging and night vision.

>pop a few WP grenades around you
White phosphorous burn the clothes off your skin and then it burns the skin. You don't want to get it near you. I'm damn well not going to stick around after lobbing one of those (pic is what a WP artillery round can do to the human body).

>It's cool that you're a big Israel fanboy
Not a real fanboy. I've just been to Israel long enough to know the IDF doesn't fuck around when it comes to training. >LOL, how long has this been your wet dream...

Not nearly as long as yours Mr. JIDF, I'm making shit up as I go along.

>Really? Your gas mask won't make it any more difficult to hear?

No.

>So are you going to totally disregard one of your best natural assets in total favor of battery powered gadgets?

I'm half deaf.

>Is that solar charger for your smart phone or does it also power the lithium batteries you'll need for everything else to work?

You mean the lithium batteries that are really tiny, weight next to nothing and aren't even on this little thing? Yeah I'm sure I could use it for those too but this game doesn't come with charging port icons.

>It strikes me that at some point in time you won't have the necessary juice to power all of that gear that gives you the techie edge you depend on EACH NIGHT. All it takes is one unlucky night where your night vision is on the fritz and any typical survivor (not even me) will become a real problem for you.

I doubt it. Lithium batteries have a pretty long life and carrying spares is like pocket change.

>
White phosphorous would destroy your tent and, unless you're sleeping with your gas mask on, the toxins will cause organ failure and eventually death. You can't outrun WP if it comes in contact with you.

Jesus you're an idiot.

THE TENT.

IS.

A.

DECOY.

The tent is a decoy. A trap. A ruse. I don't actually sleep in it, I just set it up so that an unsuspecting retard like yourself walks up to it to make what he thinks will be an easy kill and gets blown up. Holy shit you actually would do it too, I pointed that out in my last post and you still didn't get it. You'd actually fall for it.

>Wouldn't it make more sense to save all those advantageous gadgets for situations when you're forced to fight off your enemy at night?

No.

>What would stop someone from shooting up your campsite at long range, just to fuck with you (since you know most people won't be sleeping in when the sun comes out, this simple fact makes your campsite an obvious target)?

Nothing, but I repeat, I will not be there.

>What do you do when the first few jackasses who spot you blow off a limb and end up depleting your stash of C4 you're using to set traps?

I have 8 bricks there. 16 if I want to halve them.

>Most people will be fully awake and alert at the time when you're resting up for that big night hunt. All of this can be solved by using what your momma gave you son: your eyes and ears! You can still be stealthy without thermal imaging and night vision.

All my momma gave me was a brain. The other shit doesn't work quite right so I don't rely on it. I sleep on a polyphasic schedule already. Half hour naps that cut my total required sleep down to only about 5 hours. I can break that up even further by dosing properly with amphetamines.

>White phosphorous burn the clothes off your skin and then it burns the skin. You don't want to get it near you. I'm damn well not going to stick around after lobbing one of those (pic is what a WP artillery round can do to the human body).

Well again like I said, good luck finding me and knowing where to throw one. If you don't understand the advantage in obscuring thermal optics with intense heat I guess that explains why you didn't understand what the tent was for.

>Not a real fanboy. I've just been to Israel long enough to know the IDF doesn't fuck around when it comes to training. EVERYONE is required to serve in the military at some point after turning 18...so chances are if the apocalypse happens anytime soon the members of the IDF (and the countless reserves) will have a better chance of survival .

Again, I doubt it. The only reason Israel isn't being pulled apart is because they are crazy and fucked enough to have this little thing called the Samson Option that has the entire world held hostage at the press of a nuclear launch button. If anything they'll be the ones triggering the damn apocalypse and will be bombed right back into Biblical times for it when Mossad figures out they couldn't get all the foreign launch sites.

Not too quickly if you take it easy and avoid confrontation, toss the cigs, alcohol, laser sight and find a decent food source. Those MREs will ruin you. If you can use that doctor's bag though, medical expertise is hella marketable in a post apocalyptic wasteland.

So you never really planned on powering your toys and apparently now half of your equipment is part of one big ruse to trick people.

So I assume part of your time is spent constructing this elaborate trap during the night, since you state that you're "an enemy combatant who only moves at night". Doesn't that leave you with little time to hunt guys like >>11784...who, unless he has an equally idiotic plan, is far more likely to find and kill you?

>The tent is a decoy. A trap. A ruse. I don't actually sleep in it
You never clearly said the tent was part of your trap. You specifically said the C4 and poison gas was your trap. But then again...

Am I really the idiot here? I believe I already now the answer when you admit:
>I'm making shit up as I go along.

Therefore I can assume that the rest of my response is now completely wrong because you'll simply come back with some way to save face and make it look like it was actually your plan all along, right?

But let's go back to your first comment regarding my IDF guy that is now rendered complete BS:
>Looks like you're not even sleeping under cover.

I'm sorry, it seems like you are also squatting since your tent is no longer part of your 'survival' kit. Right?

>If you don't understand the advantage in obscuring thermal optics with intense heat I guess that explains why you didn't understand what the tent was for.
I thought my two comments pointed directly to the idea that I'm clearly using WP as an offensive weapon (hell you even posted a video of it's effects yourself, yet you ignore why I'm using it...doesn't make sense). Just because I'm not using WP specifically to 'obscure optics' doesn't mean I don't understand the concept.

WP is an incendiary, it burns...that is the point. The fact that it obscures vision is merely a way for countries to justify using it on the battlefield and still get away with committing war crimes.

I suppose it all comes back to the general idea that I'm familiar with strategies in order to maximize the chance of survival...which is I think many others would not catch on to your 'tent decoy'. If you see this as a cunning plan, than I would hate to see you a group leader. If you think haphazardly destroying valuable survival equipment all in the chance of gaining the upper hand is a smart move, then we obviously have different understandings when it comes to evaluating necessities.

Well it's just the laser sight could give away your position from a ridiculously long distance, especially at night. Even using it inside, if you happen to swing it by a window or open area in a wall, someone outside could see it. Just not a smart thing to have unless you feel confident in your firepower.

If your body's adjusted to MREs they're fine then. The cigs and alcohol will likely give your position away. They both make you stank and the cig smoke can give you away.

You can't comprehend my answers because you have trouble reading.

That second setup I posted was the kind of setup that I'd get fucked over by.

Again you won't know where to throw your grenades unless you find me before I find you.

I have sensory impairments and the reliance on gadgets isn't debilitating, it's enhancing. I've worn a hearing aid for most of my life and I'm only 23, I'm used to changing batteries, carrying them around and using gadgets to enhance my senses. The batteries really don't weight more than a paperclip each and carrying them is absolutely trivial.

The hearing aid I can program with the smartphone and turn its sensitivity to certain noise frequencies way up, basically giving me very enhanced hearing. I wish I was making this part up because being half deaf sucks ass. The constant tinnitus is the worst part.

So, I live in a kinda weird transitional area. It borders one major suburban town, 2 small cities, and like four small rural areas. Nearby are plenty of store fronts and super markets and general stores, as well as an industrial center(warehouses/factories) and a small airport with at least 2 crop dusters, one private jet, one small cargo plane, a fucking blimp, and multiple powered parachute air craft all on standby. All of this is within a 30 mile radius. I know for a fact I could comfortably squat and scavenge here for as long as needed before moving on someplace else. I'm pretty handy and I’m used to improvising and just kind of dealing with what I have to work with. Also, I prefer not to fight unless required... I can and have, but I prefer to lay low. I have the pistol, and glock 17's are pretty easy to come by on parts and ammo (purportedly the most used hand gun by citizens and is standard carry for most police force around here), but I wouldn't really worry about ammo. It is surprising how easily you can make someone back off without even firing a shot. It is mostly for intimidation and defense if anything, but I won't be trying to openly engage in a gun fight. Same goes for the shotgun, it is more versatile as a weapon than many rifles, the rounds are cumbersome, but easy to come by and work with (reloading, modifying, etc.), and the one I have is a bit sentimental to me. Anyway, what do you think?

Going for long-term survival.

The gun is for self-defense only (unless I get really desperate), and I wear it concealed. Alcohol is mainly for cleaning out infected wounds. I'll try to use the firesteel as much as possible but the lighter is a backup for rainy days. With a sewing kit, duct tape, rope and a multitool I hope to be able to repair anything that breaks.

Thoughts?

I think its a pretty decent set up, I also like that you aren't trying to be one of those guys trying to stand off as a one man army. I would add either fruits/veggies(dried or preserved) just to add to nutrition in case while you are on the move you cant get any thing better. Supplements and vitamin capsules would help, but they only go so far. Are you planning to basically stay in one spot or move around and go full nomad mode?

The MREs and protein bars are intended as last resorts if I'm having trouble finding food. Multivitamins weigh very little, are small and last forever so they're in. Dried fruit might be a good idea. But I'm not sure what veggies are good picks. Sauerkraut is the only one that comes to mind.

Seeing as my pack is going to be rather heavy I won't be able to stay on the move for long sustained periods. Also figuring out things like the best places to fish and where eatable plants grow in an area takes time, so there's definitely some merit to haning around good areas for a while. I see myself moving camp every other month or so, depending on the conditions.

I am still on the fence about bringing the axe, as it is rather heavy, and I'm not going to be building a lot of shelters since I'm bringing a tent. Thoughts?

Maybe not a full axe, however, hatchets weigh very little and have many uses. I would suggest a roofing or fence hatchet. The easist way to do some hanging around would probably be in areas that are somewhere between suburbs and rural. secluded enough that many won't bother to come looking for trouble, but populated enough that you have resources everywhere if you know how to look. also, maybe a 14 inch pry bar. Light weight and very few doors and boxes will stand in your way between that and the hatchet. just my personal thoughts.

Definitely bring the axe, you'll need it more than you think. Your tent won't last that long in all honesty, even with repairs, so you'll want to be able to make temporary shelters easily. This will usually be done with wood you find on the ground, but even that needs to be reshaped at times. Your pack isn't all that heavy, so don't worry about the extra weight it adds.

Im not 100% familiar with the items innawoods lets you take, but you've done a good job putting a pack together. The only thing I would really recommend you bring is a hunting rifle. Finding enough edible plants to sustain yourself is NOT easy, and fishing can be very hit or miss. Being able to bring down a large game animal will be extremely beneficial in a long term survival situation.

Long term wilderness survival using only items I currently own. Should have just about everything I need here to survive in the upper Midwest for quite awhile, though occasional trips in to more industrialized areas will no doubt become necessary. Gonna post another set up later that's geared towards surviving in urban/suburban areas as well, as that might be a better choice depending on the circumstances.

If I lived further south then I probably would take a ruger 10/22 over the m-1, but there are grizzly bears and shit up here so M-1 plus sawed off double barrel with slugs.

imagine that the scope is mounted on one of those picatinny rail kits you can get.

.22 target pistol for smaller stuff, suppressed so I can get food with no one hearing.

I would take baking soda instead of toothpaste, you can wash your hair and body with it as well as brush your teeth.

also, beef jerky / pemmican is far superior to MRE's and won't make you shit cannon balls. It's also always good to have some kind of chocolate bar in your kit for some quick energy. Chocolate and peanuts will keep you going a little longer when you are on the verge of exhaustion.

Certain online vendors will send you knives piece by piece and you can build it yourself.

It is a pocket knife. I can stab someone with any kind of fucking knife. The law is dumb as fuck and a good example of why banning things rather than just certain activities one might perform with those things is idiotic.

You can flick any decent regular folding lock blade with a thumb nub out even faster than you can open a Balisong.

Yet it is still legal to carry a bow and arrow, As long as it's not drawn in public and that arrows are neither pointed or sharp, So dull arrows really. Most importantly though, It is your intended purpose which decides whether or not it's illegal

Unlike the knife law which is stupid, If not full blown retarded. Officers started measuring blades on the side of the road just to see if they could arrest someone REGARDLESS of the intended purpose for carrying the knife.
Technically speaking you can be arrested for simply buying a new set of kitchen steak knifes and not being able to teleport them home.

UK law is a retarded, mass produced nanny procedure rolled out from years of self serving, self obsessed, egotistical politicians and royalty trying to scrape the blood from our backs whilst making any sort of revolution or revolt impossible.

here's my counter character,
he works for a a major corporation as a defense contractor and is fed intraveineously through a system of drops., He his highly connected through a system of satellites which allow him to receive commands and give status updates.
this is his weekly ration which is mostly comprised of IV feeds and amphetamines as he's supposed to be awake for days straight attempting to "keep the peace" in fallen cities. Plutonium ore and solar cells for back up power his communications.

Really he's a remorseless killer who relies on a corporation for survival and relies both on their amphetamines and IV drips on a daily basis. He uses the experimental XM29 OICW and only has 2 knives and a poison gas grenade as back up.

He patrols every other week in rotation and enjoys murdering dissedents of the coropration's regime. He is the enemy of my last character model.

Gamoo'rah tribal vampire cannibal. Terrorizes enemies by frightening appearance (green and blue when covered in blood causes high contrast spookiness), rechargeable electronics (nightvision/thermal monocular, anything interesting found) with solar panel mounted on the back, needs only to carry IV feed bags which are used to store and feed on (pure) human blood and the weapons required to harvest it. Bludgeon for minimal blood loss from prey. Armor is AR100 or better in effectiveness, covering entire body, stops most small to mid range rifle caliber bullets, also painted with thermal paint, blocks thermal signature. No backpack. Slows us down. Just a loot sack.

Pockets contain 2 knives for bloodletting, makeshift receiver for eavesdropping and planning kills, IV packs and solar chargers and rope for building traps.

Can and will eat flesh but mostly just drinks blood and brings flesh back to tribe to grow stronger. And yes that's what is wrapped up in the sack.

Blanket for snuggles and camouflage while sleeping through daytime. Can also be used as scary cloak.

No guns because too loud and they tend to make bright flashes.

Super spoopy

Wasteland Vampire Slayer

Professional outfitted specifically to hunt and kill wasteland cannibals, takes into account their above average toughness due to harsh life combined with unholy nutritional intake, and the armor it allows them to wear effortlessly.

Does not rely on optics to detect threats as they've proven to be useless against these cunning monsters.

Cannot rely on most conventional firearms as the smaller ones will not kill quick enough and the larger ones are too cumbersome. M32 MGL with white phosphorus rounds. Reflex sight and flashlight for quick target acquisition in low light.

Clothing painted with radiant reflective paint disrupts NV and thermal optics in low light, especially at closer ranges. Flares for more illumination. Glowsticks for personal visibility.

Amphetamines for alertness during long hours of the night.

Menthols, because if there's one thing vampires hate, it's minty freshness.

Canteen blessed by town priest.

Medkit for treating infectious wounds.

Fishing stuff for food.

Toothbrush. Importance of minty freshness.

Geiger counter; due to blood and flesh consumption of possibly irradiated victims vampire cannibals sometimes can be detected early with a Geiger counter.

Alright, this is pretty much just a raider build.

>I live in the desert, so it's desert camo for me, with a lighter body armor.
>I would be mainly an ambush predator.
I live in Las Vegas, and I know there is a small community in the mountains away from the city, with the desert in between, with on main highway in between the two settlements. Even if Las Vegas doesn't survive, I know the people in the mountains are smart enough to come to the city to scavenge. So, once I log them going out to the city via observing the main highway, that leaves me time to set up a remote detonation c4 bomb, and wait.
>Night vision in case they return at night.
>AK47 to mop up any confused survivors, using grenade launcher on what I perceive to be escort vehicles protecting the supply vehicles.
>Extra ammo in case of sustained resistance
>I picked the AK74 because it's good enough for Islamic militants to Russian separatists to Vietnamese Communists, so it's successor is good enough for me.
>It will probably also be able to handle whatever dirt my cave can throw at me.
>Even so, I have the cleaning kit.
>If I get tagged by shrapnel or even small arms fire, I have a wound dressing kit and painkillers
>The mines are to be set up around my cave and random others, to deter search parties and to alert me if they approach while I am sleeping
>Map for obvious reasons
>The gas mask, silenced pistol, and smoke/poison grenades are for raiding the actual mountain settlements, to both secure provisions for myself, and force the mountain settlement to scavenge in Vegas more.
>The knife is for sleepers to conserve ammo. Also utilities
>sleeping bag is obvious
>MREs are for when raiding isn't paying the bills

I forgot to mention the HAM radio is for hopeful eavesdropping to learn of supply runs

Also, the weight is irrelevant, because I would only take what I need to do the raid I had previously planned.

I scored in the 97th percentile on the ASVAB actually, that's Category I. And regardless of how I got the job, I'm very good at managing rental properties. I get a percentage of total revenue from rent monies, so I have a ton of disposable income for firearms and my other hobbies. It's okay to be jealous, that is a natural reaction.

I'm very successful, my friend. Like I said, my family owns millions of dollars worth of rental properties, the largest of which I manage for them. This grants me a large amount of disposable income and respect and authority with the people I deal with on a day to day basis. Is this an example of that Tall Poppy Syndrome I was reading about? It's strange how success draws "haters" out of the woodwork.

I thought it was already apparent, but people do seem to get dumber and less aware, every day.

You see here, you teetotaler of a manchild, I am a Wizard. I make my living doing wizardly things, such as making enchanted items and hawking them to adventurers, when I'm in need of this fiat currency that people foolishly trade in. :/ I'd be better at just magicking up the money, but as I know the truth of that paper, I wind up getting gold, silver, diamonds, cheesecake, weed, lsd, and sometimes chocolate...

But I'm not the issue here. The issue is how you are so completely inept and unaware, that you take pride in existing in a state of being that puts you below the hobos who spray lysol into foam cups and top it off with water, to get some manner of buzz. In fact, the people in the NEET pride thread are actually above you. Shit, the stereotypical greedy jewish banker trope, is more useful to society and to themselves, than you are, and they charge society interest.

I would rather live in a hole in the ground, than live like you. At least I could take pride in having created a good enough hole to live in. I doubt you could even accomplish that. Just putting things in perspective.
