Find yourself a good hairstylist and stick to them. Your hairstylist can give you advice and plan cuts based on what's possible to do with your hair type. I'm one of those people that has impossible to work with hair. you don't leave shampoo in your hair, you just lather and rinse it right away
if you're breaking out in clusters of dandruff it can be leaving your shampoo in for too long than necessary, or showering in hard water (which was the problem with me, my skin's incredibly reactive towards it that I get mild rashes across my body)

i use argan oil shampoo and condition with baobab extract and an admixture of tea tree oil and emu oil

makes my hair incredibly voluminous, even more so if I use a hair blower
naturally I have very fine hair and I used to have so much trouble trying to add some volume to it~

Here is the real answer:

When I took a scriptwriting course in college, one thing we learned is that it sitcoms (like The New Normal) is that the less complex a character is, the better. Having both male and female love interests for a sitcom may confuse people who aren't regular viewers, and is avoided.

This rule does not apply to shows with a long story arc.

Although I'm pretty sure Olivia Wilde's character in House was bisexual. Just like how she is in real life.

I still think it's bullshit, It could easily have been tread upon more lightly. Regular viewers could explain to the more intermittent viewers that think she's straight/lesbian that she doesn't always favor that particular sex.
It comes down to the same dumb societal thing, when people see the switch they get confused. In their heads they want her to choose a side, so she clarifies that she's bisexual a lot.
It's a self fulfilling prophecy, if you're bisexual and you want people to know it IRL you need to tell them, even if they see you with a man one week and a woman the next they don't want to make that assumption more than they want you to pick a side.
At some point I do understand it. Just because of all the things straight people do that I don't get. Lesbians too, I fail to empathize with them on a real intuitive level.
