And the sound of the birds, the sound of the leaves when the wind blows, just the fact that everything gets back to life in nature. Winter is so depressing quiet.

Nothing. I fucking hate Spring. It means my lovely, beautiful Winter is leaving and here comes Spring's filthy fucking ass to take their place. It's fucking cold, but with no snowfall as a trade off. Clumps of dirty, dying snow in all the parking lots, nasty green grass sticking out of thin, slushy snow. I cannot fucking stand to see grass through snow, it's hideous. Probably cause it reminds me of spring, god damn spring!

And then when the last bit of snow is finally gone, we're now in a steady state of "Mudshit Wasteland" where the sky is forever rain and all the ground EVERYWHERE is just mud and nothing else. I mother fucking HATE Spring! So god damn much!

I live in a part of Texas where it might snow once in a two or three year period. Alaska sounds horrifying.

Marijuana is decriminalized in Alaska, and Medical Marijuana use is legal.
Possession of less than 8 ounces of marijuana is a misdemeanor, punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a fine of up to $1,000. Possession of less than one pound of marijuana is also a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $5,000.
Possession of less than 25 plants is protected under the Alaska Constitution’s right to privacy.

In Alaska it was recently ruled that up to one ounce of pot is legal for adults, striking down a recent recriminalization bill. If you go over an ounce there are still penalties---90 days jail/$1000 and it's a misdemeanor.

My friends and I went out to a huge hill with a nice sled all dis'd out on MXE (a legal relative of K).

Turns out it was covered in ice, and very dangerous. We freaked ourselves out and ccouldn't do much. Thankfully some drunks showed up and slid down for us. Fun to watch them spilling their shit all over.
