What are your favorite things about the spring?
Mine is how much it rains and how green everything gets.
I really love when the rain cloud is just going over you and you can see one half of your yard in rain and the other not.

Whilst not my favourite season, spring is nice. Here's what makes it nice for me

>Lots of rain and everything getting greener
>Windy but dry weather
>Thunder and lightning storms

This. I also enjoy seeing the trees come back to life after a long winter, though it can take them a while.

The fact that it is warmer out and all of the trees around where I live bloom into flowers ranging from pink, white, red, and purple, and most of them have sweet scents. This is also when the forest is filled with wild trilliums and lady-slipper orchids. It is actually quite dazzling to see all of that color after the stark white winter and it takes some getting used to.

But hey, I like it very much, I also like that the air suddenly smells fresher and sweeter, even without the flowers scent. It it the smell of life returning to the land. Gotta love living in a very heavily forested area far from town.

How summer is just around the corner and life is about to get pretty fucking horrible.
Winter is the best season ever.

I like it when the hills are green, and that scent of the beginning of summer is in the air. I like the plump clouds, the wet soil, and I like the temp.

Pic related. Around my hills

Seconded. Goddamn I love thunderstorms. Probably is it's already too damned hot. When does tornado season end?

I like that everything in nature gets more colour.
And the sound of the birds, the sound of the leaves when the wind blows, just the fact that everything gets back to life in nature. Winter is so depressing quiet.

Nothing. I fucking hate Spring. It means my lovely, beautiful Winter is leaving and here comes Spring's filthy fucking ass to take their place. It's fucking cold, but with no snowfall as a trade off. Clumps of dirty, dying snow in all the parking lots, nasty green grass sticking out of thin, slushy snow. I cannot fucking stand to see grass through snow, it's hideous. Probably cause it reminds me of spring, god damn spring!

And then when the last bit of snow is finally gone, we're now in a steady state of "Mudshit Wasteland" where the sky is forever rain and all the ground EVERYWHERE is just mud and nothing else. I mother fucking HATE Spring! So god damn much!

Agreed. I hate how spring smells, too. All the decaying leaves are now exposed and it just smells like shit all the time.

The only benefit is that I can get outside a little bit more, but not as much as summer. So spring is just an awful gap of time between kick ass winter and awesome summer.

the smell releases emotions of euphoria and nostalgia for some reason. Maybe it reminds me of recess as a child or something. All the seasons have their nostalgic emotional smells and feels.
