Well I figure it's worth a shot. Does anyone here know how I can buy and sell and make a few dollars profit. I don't have a job right now and really want to find a way to make cash freelance. I live in a really small town so it looks like online sales is really going to be the only way to do it. Can I just buy stuff off craigslist/ the internet and see if it's selling for more on amazon and flip it? I read about people buying NES games in bulk and just selling the titles individually. I was thinking about buying my friends box full of NES games since I saw a lot of the titles he had on amazon. Any items this is really good for? Anyone here do anything like this?

I just started thinking along the same lines.

I bought this real good jacket at an OP shop for 6 bucks, gonna flog it to a friend for 50. I figure if I keep doing shit like that I could make some decent cash.

Anyone have any tips on where to find cheap shit?

Buy cheap shit on craigslist. Relist at a higher price. It works for cars, computers, electronics, clothes, all sorts of shit. There's a lot of legwork but if you want it to work, you'll find a way.

So i wished for and was given a good basic digital camera (Nikon D7100) as well as a one year subscription to Photoshop for Christmas and im now ready to start playing with it. So im basically wondering if you guys have any good tips or recommendations for a beginner or any links to good photography tutorials on the internet?

I've never done anything like this before, but using Super, one can drag and drop a large number of gifs and convert them to your video format of choice. The one foreseeable problem would be the framerate wouldn't be uniform, so you might have to manually tweak it. The good news is there isn't any audio to get fucked with by a desync.

About 15 years ago I found a good-sized patch of somniferum growing along side the Interstate near where I lived. Picked a bunch of ripe pods, let them dry, then shook out the seeds. Put the husks in a blender and made powder outta them (made like 2/3 cup) and poured it into a dark brown bottle full of Everclear (4/5 qyart) and put the bottle in a dark spot in a closet for 2 months. When it was ready I pureed a pound of fresh strawberries, strained out the seeds, then boiled that in a quart of distilled water for 20 minutes. When it was room temperature I poured it and the Everclear mixture into a wine bottle with a screw cap and put it in the fridge. Two shots over ice and byebye for 6 - 8 hours. Never made it again, I liked it a bit too much.

This is supposed to be a method of fermentation. A process that actually does something good to cannabis. It should taste less harsh and not more. whatsoever.
AFAIK farmentation is just like really slow drying.
Opening the container every now and then so the moisture can circulate and evaporate and the (harsh tasting) chlorophyll-molecules break apart (I'm no good in english but in chemistry).
Be careful! There is just a fine line between fermentation and real hazardous mold!

If your referring to curing your bud, yes it is most necessary. I wouldn't say the formerly referred to process is anything like curing. When you cure you have almost all the water out of the bud, and you also open the jar often so you can get rid of the Co2, preventing any type of mold.

How do /HOWTO/

I have a background in design, mainly Photoshop, Illustrator ad Indesign, and I have started making this book of sorts. It is quite a unique book I think, let me try and paint a picture for you guys briefly.

Each double page spread will mainly be digital art relating to a specific subject matter along with a short poem cleverly positioned within the artwork. The subject matter will be relevant to modern day society mainly and explore humanity, the world and our minds.

My question or questions are as follows:
  1. What would be best, an ebook, print or both?
  2. What would be the best way to get it published?
  3. Do you think there would be much of a market for such a thing?

Cheers in advance.

I am attempting to design and build a garbage bin grow chamber. What I have worked out, and this is very preliminary, is that I will use one LED light, a cone of aluminum foil from the light that directly focuses light on the growbed at the bottom. I'm drilling one hole, in which I will put a small fan. That is concern number one: how strong of a fan would I need to force the stanky ass kush air from the garbage can to my window, approximately a meter and a half away? Should I maybe install a larger fan on the top?

Concern number two is the hydroponic grow bed. Now I'm rreeaally new to this, truly out of my element, but I think a small waterbed with a pump that just swirls the water around, alongside careful nutrient and ph monitoring should be enough, right? I'd of course have the roots and clay medium in a cup with ample drainage so it can absorb nutrients.

Will post designs later today, when they are complete.

AS FOR WHY THIS ISN'T IN /CROPS/, because it has more to do with general knowledge of craftsmanship than a question directly related to growing.

No exp using LED's, I usually go with CFLs.

You'd want an array of 6 medium-sized 20-something watters alternating color tempratures between 2700k and 6400k range ("warm white" and "cool white" respectively). Use socket splitters and socket-outlet adapters and you can get thee Y's on a single power-strip. BC you're using CFL's heat isn't as big an issue, they save energy, and you can get some serious lumen out of it if you make a simple reflector out of cardboard and printer paper. You can get your lumen output into the 20k range, and that's really good for CFLs, and if you're only growing like 1-4 plants that's plenty of light and it's like $30 for the full assembly.

Which brings me to my next point, don't use foil! Use white! Non-glossy white surfaces reflect more energy than shinny ones I guarantee you. This is not exactly intuitive. If you're still on about using foil then use the non-shinny side, but straight up printer paper would be the best color to reflect energy off of.

Never fucked with hydroponics, but an easier medium is to use coco-coir bricks and then mix hydroponic nutes with distilled water. Fox Farms has a trio pack exactly for this, and other companies make specific coco-coir nutes. Look 'em up. Be careful not to burn your plants tho!

Dude, if you're new to growing, just do this:

1- 10 Liters pot on the bottom
2- Mesh/grid at about 1/3 height of container. This is for SCROG, aka "using all your available surface for flowers".
3- 150 watts light or just a very good LED on top of container.
4- Fan for intake of air at about 1/2 height of container
5- Fan for air out at top of container. You can use a carbon filter to control smell.

How to use:

1- Put regular feminized seed (not auto!!) in glass of water for about 24 hours.
2- Put seed in pot full of premium growing soil (buy some, don't mix your own unless you absolutelly know what you're doing).
2- Add water
3- Wait until plant's height is above the grid. Bend the plant to go back under the mesh and wait for it to grow up above the mesh. Bend again. Google "SCROG METHOD" for details about this.
4- When grid is almost 2/3 filled by the plant, switch lights to flowering light cycle (12 hours on and 12 hours off).

Bucket, The bigger the better.

Water, clean

Sugar, For the alcohol percentage.

Flavouring, Apples for apple wine (Cider is a bit more complicated) Pears for pear wine etc. Potatoes for vodka (Requires distillation) molasses for rum (Also requires disillation)

Yeast. DO NOT USE bakers yeast. It will work, But the taste is awful and is likely to get infected. (Bakers yeast is intended to work at 40-50 degrees Celsius. Not the 20-30 degrees of alcohol brewing. In practice, It will be ineffective at growth, Decreasing the alcohol:sugar:time ratio. It will also have a lowered ability to fight off infections.)
Basically don't be lazy, Go to a brew shop or look up wyeastlab.com.
Yeast has a very pronounced effect on your drink. Pick it carefully.

Cleaning equipment, disinfecting solutions.

Presses for wine. Stills for spirits.

Depends on several factors.

The only true way to know is to wait untill your brew stops producing gases/bubbles.
Once you're reached that stage you need to wait for it to go clear. Then bottle/barrel it.

This guy probably knows what he's doing. But if you just want to get drunk and don't care about taste, here's the lazy idiot-proof method:
  1. Buy a jug of full-sugar grape juice, some granulated sugar, and some packets of whatever yeast you can find. If you see turbo yeast in the store, try that instead of baker's yeast.
  2. Before you get excited, drink some of the grape juice in order to leave a generous few inches of air space at the top of the jug.
  3. Now get a measuring cup and add to it a little bit of warm water. Not hot, just body temperature or slightly warmer.
  4. Dissolve a little sugar in this warm water. Estimate a few pinches or a spoonful or something; it doesn't have to be much.
  5. Dump one packet of yeast into the sugar water, and wait.
  6. After 10-15 minutes, your yeast should be foamy and bubbly. When this happens, dump the contents of the measuring cup into the jug of grape juice.
  7. Don't shake the jug. Just unscrew the cap a bit so the CO2 can escape as fermentation occurs. Store it in a warm, dark place with some rags or a dish underneath to catch any juices that may overflow.
  8. After an hour, go back and look at the jug. If it's swelling up, loosen the cap a little more so the air can escape. You don't want this sticky mess to explode.

Now you wait. Two weeks is usually enough time for a basic winelike beverage to occur, but if you have the patience, by all means let it "age" for a few more weeks. You can drink it earlier, but it won't have much alcohol and the yeast will still be hard at work. Generally, you should leave it alone until the bubbles have mostly stopped and you can no longer hear it fizzing. If desired, pour the wine through a coffee filter or two to strain out the gunk. Drinking some dead yeast won't hurt you but it might detract from the taste.

Box which I'm willing to use for semi-anonymity but is that enough? Does anyone else have experience with this sort of shit?

There's no difference between PO boxes/getting it sent straight to your house

Nobody's gonna camp your house out and watch you pick up some cookies to get you in prison unless you're buying like pounds of it.

You'll get a love letter but who the fuck gets caught domestically sending mail?

Only thing I could see happening is dogs doing some check on all mail or some shit, no idea

Hey OP, I sent some dank ass nugs and an oil pen (plus some oil) to myself in a bag of coffee from Denver to NY. No problems. Weed is practically legal now. Nobody gives a fuck. Regan ain't president no more.
