So I'm looking for a job, any job, regardless of how shitty the pay is, just to keep people (mom) quiet (not nagging me). Currently 24yo with a highschool diploma.

conditions:
  1. little to no contact with customers
  2. little to no contact with bosses
  3. barely anything to do, allowing me to listen to music or browse 420chan if I feel like it
  4. steady if possible

doesn't matter if I get paid in peanuts. Ideas? all suggestions are appreciated.

apply at smaller places. look up the 10 closest coffee shops to you that arent corporate chains beyond your state, print out 10 resumes and 10 cover letters, put on your best clothes, and physically show up at each place and ask if the manager is there. make a list of them all. print out a google map of all 10 arranged in an efficient route. this is how ive gotten every job/accomodation ive ever had

don't be shy to ask these questions. it's cool. i walk in and say id like to apply for a job, and ask if i can speak to a manager. sometimes they have a little thing to fill out, sometimes its online and you can bring it filled out in advance (fucking do this if possible it looks good) and if you're lucky you can catch the manager there and talk to them right away. obviously dont go during busy times, like weekends or evenings at a restaurant would be pretty dumb

You'll only find OPINIONS, not facts.
Personally I'd say don't buy 'Bitcoin' - it's outdated ALREADY.
Get behind something with strong developers and a robust set of features that has no premine and is fully commited to decentralisation

Basically that means - Stay away from Ripple and Stellar as far as you possibly can and buy Ethereum or maybe even Verge

Anybody have any good meditation/mindfulness tutorials?

I've tried Headspace which I thought was pretty good, but I didn't want to subscribe to the full thing.

Everything I find out youtube seems a bit like woo woo bullshit. I'd prefer something more practical and straight talking.

Here's an example of one I quite like, but I've struggled to find more like it.

yes but that says "cultivated" and you said "bred" breeding implies a process that requires generations of trees being grown and the smaller ones being pollinated and then the smallest of their offspring being chosen, so on and so forth.

you can go out into a forest, take a cutting off any tree or find a seedling and put it into a small pot and thats pretty much all you need to do to bonsai a tree. aside from trimming both the leaves and the roots and wiretraining the tree to the shape you desire.

some trees bonsai better than others.

>"nearly any tree can be bonsai'd"

that doesn't cross my assertion, it confirms it. Bonsai trees are not some special cultivar or a tree that is bred specifically to grow small. if you restrict the growing space of nearly any tree it will grow much slower.

the size of the root ball will always be proportionate to the size of the tree above ground. the ratio is different from species to species but if a tree can't grow it's roots out enough to sustain more leaf growth it's not going to grow more leaves/branches.

sure there are probably trees that have been selectively bred to perform better as bonsai but its completely unnecessary to do so in most cases. Every tree I have ever bonsai'd, from japanese black and white pines to canadian maples, silver birch trees etc are all seedlings I found growing naturally or bought at a nursery and put in a small pot

Took a class in college about gardening and horticulture for an easy A.

Bonzai works with ANY plant. Its growing in a small pot/medium that makes it tiny. You can do a generic apple tree, it will be fucking small but grow normal sized fruits and look goofy as fuck.

That being said, Bonsai also traditionally comes with artificial weathering to the surface of the tree and manipulation of branch/grow direction to give it the "it looks like an old ass lion king tree but is fucking tiny"

I keep delaying doing bonsai, might just go find a cool plant to breed online

As I've heard it said op, if you have 100 bucks to by a bonsai tree, instead of buying 1 one hundred dollar tree, buy 100 bucks worth of soil, cheap pots, shovels and start collecting! Find unwanted plants in friends and family yards. fuck, I dig them up along rural streets where they'll be removed for fire clearance anyway.

Read every fucking page on this website, you'll be well on your way.

25 years old
and already have a weak bladder.
At least thats what I think.

Can't hold it on my way to wark and back
and leaving the bus multiple times to relieve myself.

Already had an accident
and thinking now about buying one of these absorbent granny-pants somewhere.

Doc couldn't find anything, just told me to eat some pumplin-pills,
but that didn't help in any way.

What would be the best way to cope with my problem?

Anyone else having this?

Kegels;
Take a pee. Stop peeing mid-stream.

That's your kegel muscle.

Learn how to flex it. Then do so, any time you think about your problem for as long as you can.

Problem should solve itself as you gain more muscular control.

If this doesn't solve it then I don't know.

May be a longshot but maybe try benzodiazapines for a short while? Could be something anxiety realaed all-in-all. I would suggest real pomegranate
juice, I think dragpnfruit does well. Make sure to have a multivitamin in the morning, and have a B-12 complex vitamins 2 or 3 times a day.

I think the B-12 would help. My past anxiety had me wanting to go to the restroom a lot. Stopping by the side of the road. At least my associate understood. Benzos stopped this almost completely.

Broke a piece and for the life of me cannot fix it. It is a statue of an alien and it broke at the waistline.
It looks like I could fix it by just bonding the two pieces together again but every bonding agent I try fails to hold it. There are a few chunks missing that would need to be filled but they are around the same thickness of a sewing needle so that shouldn't be difficult.
Basically I'm asking for a bonding agent or other material I could use to connect the two halves. I've tried all of the instant glues that say okay for glass but they never hold. I've heard using melted gold like a solder could work but not sure where I could get gold filler that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. What have you used to repair glass in the past?
This could be the wrong board but I didn't really see any others that it fit.

if glue doesn't stick:

  1. it's not made for the material
  2. it's due to user error... that includes not reading the instructions.
  3. it's not made for the stress or load.

You need contact glue or superglue for glass, never some "instant" glue shit. Instant glue is not made to last. Some instant glues may also have problems with crystal glass, which is usually the glass type used for figurines.

You can get super glue for glass or proper glass glue. Loctite makes one, but it's also still alot cheaper than gold.

With contact glue you add a layer of glue to both surfaces and press them together. After that, the glue has to cure for ,usually, 24 hours. When everything is dry, you can carefully scrape off excess glue until everything looks good.

Depending on the glue, you might have to engineer a contraption that can keep pressure on the seam or keep everything straight. I'd suggest making the repair step-wise; the

If everything is done correctly with this type of glue, the seam will be nearly invisible. Most are also strong enough that you can repair items like handles on glass jugs

They'll still bust you. Universities match identities through a whole bunch of attributes, not just name. (It's almost like they knew that people sometimes have the same name...)

So unless you have the same name, birthdate, height, weight, eye color, high school alma mater, and exactly the same list of previous mailing addresses as someone else (in correct order), then you won't match anyone in their system.

Just earn a real one. Join the air force or air national guard, the chillest of the armed forces. You'll have to take it easy on the drugs for 4-8 years but you'll get a lot of experience. Or go to Norway or Germany. They probably have some heavier academic requirements but it's free once you get in (minus cost of moving there).
