Where my pynchonites at? I'm re-reading Gravity's Rainbow currently, what cool shit and secret truths should I keep an eye out for? The first read was tricky but now I can relax and have fun with the prose.

That was hard to read. Pynchon is way too descriptive, and it goes so in depth on him sucking the turd straight from the butthole for pages.

The octopus and the scene in France is a parody of Casino Royale.

The pig scene is the inversion of the sacred feminine to the divine whore.

Reading Vineland right now. Honestly there's no magic-bullet answer for "what to look out for" when reading Pynchon, it's just jam-packed with esoterica. Check out https://gravitys-rainbow.pynchonwiki.com/wiki/index.php.

Do you have the edition in your pic? What year and publisher is it from?

That was just the coolest cover i could find on Google. Imagine finding a copy like that from the 70s in a Used Book store though... I'd jizz my dang pants, I say.
