Having severe pain that I suspect to be Kidney pain (never experienced it, so don't know for sure). It's just below my middle back, on my left side, just about where my ribcage ends. It's been worsening for the past week. No other apparent symptoms, other then frequent urination. Would I be wasting anyones time going to the ER? Pain is 6-8/10.

You generally shouldn't be feeling constant pain anywhere between your haircut and the bottoms of your feet. So yes, go see a fucking doctor. If you have an infection you've just let it grow and spread for a week, which may make it much harder to fight off.

Well, went to the ER after experiencing urinary urgency. They did a CT scan, and while it showed no stones, my Kidney was actually inflammed. They didn't have doctors in, but they wanted to keep me overnight to await further diagnostic testing, to rule out anything damaging.

Are you ok, OP?

Advice for anyone: if your pain goes to 6 for more than a short time, go to hospital.

Hey man, this might be a long shot but the same happened to me when I was younger. I was racking up quite the er bills going back and forth and they never saw anything(they were prob convinced i was a drug seeker because long hair jeans etc) I still have all of the ct/mri/xray discs somewhere and i've thought of digging them up and looking again for myself. At any rate though I ended up doing a lot of research and gave up pop and milk, started drinking distilled water and homemade lemonade they said it would break up stones and dairy causes stones and inflammation in the kidneys/bladder. It was a night and day change within a couple days. I got lax and a year later it returned. Fed up at this point because the gallbladder attack was an unimaginable pain I took the advice of a doctor I had found online to cut out the dairy and crap again cold turkey and again, it went away. This caused me later to become obsessed with research long story short i went entirely vegan and my health has been perfect since. I understand it would be hard for a lot of people to think about but it saved me a lot of hell. I was tired of racking up the er bills and my life has benefited in every way

Get medicaid folks if you don't make enough money and have no insurance. It makes things a lot easier and even if it's .gov based insurance. You will get far better care. If you wait until something goes wrong to seek treatment without health insurance, it's like you have no health foundation to really stand on. Only takes like a week to kick in. And these is emergency state aid for emergencies
where people do not have insurance for temporary financial assistance.
Should be filed within like two weeks of being billed?

My weeks worth of shots, 9 shots, $600 $800 or so dollars, 1 dollar at the pharmacy, and it was the hospital people who screwed up to begin with.

Saved my butt from hving debt collectors callling 10 times a day.
