Sharp and irreverent, Silicon Valley continues to lambast the self-important world of tech in a season that finds the Pied Piper team looking to leave their mark, even as they continue to fumble along the road to success.

Change is in the air as the Pied Piper guys pursue their video-chat app, PiperChat, but Richard has a hard time letting go of his dream to put his algorithm to better use. Dinesh flirts with notoriety, while Gilfoyle looks on in amusement. Erlich searches for his next big break. Jared attempts to pivot with the company. And Big Head enters the world of academia. Meanwhile, over at Hooli, Gavin finds himself threatened by Jack Barker, while Monica struggles to bounce back at Raviga after her fallout with Laurie.

The season premieres tonight at 10pm EDT on HBO

Yeah he was the backbone of the show. The show is "meh" with him at this point, it definitely peaked s1-s2 and it just seems to be kinda weak now, but I would still watch it if it had him.
With him leaving, definitely not gonna watch next season. I wouldn't doubt if they cancelled it to be honest.
It's just that the rest of the main cast isn't strong enough to carry it without him.

>Yeah he was the backbone of the show

I dont really think so. He was alright, but he doesnt carry the show.

>With him leaving, definitely not gonna watch next season.

This is a pretty dumb reason not to watch a show solely because he's leaving. You havent even seen the next season and you are already assuming is going to suck. Assuming is the mother of all fuck ups. I am pretty sure the show will remain just as funny, without TJ.

I saw this Fighting game pro player with a sports car and thought "cool car". I wondered why I usually don't give a shit about sports car as I got older then Jian Yang reminded me. I wish I had half the balls Jian Yang has, guy gives zero fucks. Also, Jared getting intense this season has been pure gold. I'll kill them! I'll kill them with knives, I'll kill them with guns, I'll kill them with my bare hands if I have to

You know what I always wanted the big twist of Supernatural to be? That all the demons are actually full of shit. I hate the "budget demon" and Angels. How they just switch hosts on the fly, it would be neat to find out they are just fucking with naive humans who actually believe them. It would be neat if there Lucifer, Lilith and all those guys died centuries ago and new kids were just taking the torch. Saying I'm Satan is a lot scarier than saying I'm Bob.

I much preferred the monster of the week days. Remember the Wendigo?! It was actually a dude in a monster suit. There weren't that many monster's mostly ghosts but I still preferred those days and wish the show never went the "destiny/ chosen one/ prophecy" direction.

Mike's story about their first mystery was mundane but talking about 2001 like it was the 1970s was pretty funny. And then when they got the hell out of that alternate dimension and Mike ended the episode with that one liner sealed it.

The bit with Mike calling to get out of an awkward situation had me in stitches. That bit is as old as sitcoms themselves, it's been done 1 million times over but Mike's delivery made it one of a kind.

>Into the Badlands s02e10 - Wolf's Breath, Dragon Fire

Really enjoyed that season finale. The fight scenes were great like Sunny and Baije dismembering and decapitating Quinn's clippers and the fights Baije had with Quinn's Regent and Sunny with Quinn were both short but effective and the storytelling was good for what it was. I do wish they had featured MK and Tilda more but with MK still held captive by The Widow and Tilda having escaped with Odessa thanks to Waldo, I guess we'll find out in next season's premiere.

And I can understand that fans wouldn't be happy with Veil sacrificing herself to kill Quinn but I thought it made sense and I agree with what someone wrote that Veil’s sacrifice was to ensure Henry would never have to know what a world would be like with Quinn in it. Plus it'll drive Sunny's character development next season grieving for Veil and raising Henry on his own. At least Baije's supposedly found Azra but I hope he survives and comes back. He's a good addition to the show's cast. Can't wait till next season.

Howard Stern said the finale was so bad that he's done with the show for good. He also spoiled a ton of shit so now I'm far less likely to ever watch unfortunately.

Really? I dunno why he didn't like it. I guess it was because of Veil's death after all the build of Sunny's journey back into the Badlands and trying to rescue her this season, which of course has divided people. Not to mention Sunny didn't take the opportunity to make sure Quinn was dead, which was same mistake he made in the season 1 finale. Overall I thought this season was fantastic and the story had reached its logical story points at the end of the season but we'll see where it goes from there.

The Rayburns are hard-working pillars in their Florida Keys community, but their past contains dark secrets that they hope remain buried. Paranoia and mistrust build as lies pile up, alliances are shattered and an unthinkable crime takes place with the tight-knit family's formerly harmonious relationship deteriorating. They're not bad people, but they did a bad thing... and then a few dozen more. And that will most certainly continue as the Rayburns reach the end of their morally ambiguous journey.

The final season premieres May 26 on Netflix

In an instant, 140 million people vanished from the face of the earth. The cause of that incredible event remains unknown, and there is no indication that those who are gone will ever be seen or heard from again.

Adapting Tom Perrotta's bestselling novel of the same name, The Leftovers has explored the dynamics of one family, the Garveys, in Mapleton, New York. Continuing to focus on the ways ordinary people react to inexplicable events, season two introduced another family, the Murphys, as the show ventured into the unexplored territory of Miracle, Texas. In the third and final season, those families come together as they desperately grasp for a system of belief to better explain what defies explanation. The world is crackling with the energy of something big about to happen, a corresponding bookend to the Sudden Departure that sent them all spinning years earlier, bringing their journey down under to Australia.

The final season premieres April 16 at 9pm EDT on HBO.

I honestly cannot care less about Laurie dead or not. Hated her throughout season 1, found her season 2 episodes just plain boring and season 3 was no different, I felt like sundays episode was the weakest of the season. Willem Dafoe lookin bitch. Its good we got a sprinkling of other characters in there because she just does not carry an episode well. I'd rather have Jill episodes and shes a pretty bad character too, insanely attractive or not. I did like the references to season 1 though with the woman from the laundromat in the series opening scene who lost her son and the lighter that Jill gave Laurie. Next weeks preview showed Kevin in his hotel outfit so that should be a good one, it also shows Nora so either she didn't go through with it or she did and she was transported to the hotel and will meet Kevin there. I think its the latter. The preview also implies that he dies and goes to the hotel multiple times, probably not finishing his task and having to go back. It should be an exciting penultimate episode
So I'm rewatching season 2, got 2 episodes in, and the man in the tower in Miracle gives Michael a letter to send to David Burton ("god" from the boat episode in season 3) and I can't remember if that goes anywhere or not. Anyone remember? Ill probably just find out on the rest of my rewatch. Theres a lot of things I forgot about season 2, like how much of a different character John was. He puts on this smiling face but hes a very intimidating scary person and its great. Compared to season 3 its night and day

I also wasn't a fan of Laurie's episodes in season 2, and she's not my favourite character by a long shot, but Sunday's episode was pretty good. I appreciate the role she's taken in season 3 of someone who has gone through this cultist bullshit before and isn't having a bar of this Kevin Christ nonsense. Up until she gives up and allows people to pursue their shit. I really like that journey she had to take, from trying to keep everyone sane to just embracing their fate.

She was this series' Jack Shephard in a universe of John Lockes, and that's cool by me.

That was a fantastic episode. What I appreciated about the episode was what >>383299 said seeing Laurie's character development from season 1 having struggled with The Departure and loss of child and joining the Guilty Remnant paying off here dealing with people's problems to finally just letting go and let Nora and Kevin embrace their new selves. At least she got to say goodbye to Tom and Jill before she went into the water forever. I felt that it was a deserving payoff for her.

>So I'm rewatching season 2, got 2 episodes in, and the man in the tower in Miracle gives Michael a letter to send to David Burton ("god" from the boat episode in season 3) and I can't remember if that goes anywhere or not. Yeah I forgot about the letter. I hope they address that. As for John, he's a changed man since season 2 because after being a skeptic, he now embraces that miracles and stuff can happen after seeing Kevin survive a gunshot and seeing Evie reappear.

Set in 2010, the third installment of Fargo centers on Emmit Stussy and his slightly younger brother Ray (Ewan McGregor in dual roles). Emmit, the “Parking Lot King of Minnesota,” is a handsome, self-made real estate mogul with a perfect family – a real American success story. His slightly younger brother Ray is more of a cautionary tale. Wilted from a lifetime of living in Emmit’s shadow, Ray is a balding, pot-bellied parole officer with a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he’s been dealt – and he blames his brother.

The only bright spot in Ray’s life is the love of a not-so-good woman, Nikki Swango (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), one of his parolees. Nikki has brains, beauty and a deep and abiding passion for competitive bridge. She decides to help Ray turn his fortunes around, by essentially stealing back his good karma. Unsurprisingly, things quickly get out of hand and petty theft leads to murder. When the mayhem crosses county lines, Eden Valley Police Chief Gloria Burgle (Carrie Coon), a newly divorced mother, is called upon to investigate. Normally steady and imperturbable, Gloria is shaken when the case takes an unexpectedly personal turn.

The season premieres tonight at 10pm EDT on FX

Man, this episode built suspense so well. I was anxious and nervous that those two gangster dudes would kill Ray and his girl, it was filmed like a horror movie. Then they really drop a body, only instead of it being a scary, tense scene, I was hysterically laughing through the entire death. Well played, Hawley.

You mean like season 1, with the police chief that kept telling Molly to back off because he thought it was a gang of drifters? At least "it's just a coincidence, a random robbery" is a better reason than "it couldn't be him because I like the guy."

Based on Neil Gaiman's novel and developed by Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, American Gods pits Old Gods against New Gods, with the ancient mythological ones fearing irrelevance as their believers die off or are seduced by the money, technology, and celebrity offered by the younger deities. Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) is an ex-con who, left adrift by the recent death of his wife, becomes a bodyguard and traveling partner to conman Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane). But in truth, Mr. Wednesday is a powerful old deity, on a cross-country mission to build an army and reclaim his lost glory.

The series premieres tonight at 9pm EDT on Starz

Pretty good episode. I do like how Shadow is becoming more integrated into the world of gods and not sure whether the snow was of his own doing or being with Mr. Wednesday. I'm not really surprised Laura would be resurrected by the coin but Shadow's in for a surprise with his wife being alive. The Somewhere in America segments are one of my favorite parts of the show. This episode's with the woman having to choose the world she has to live in with the Egyptian god of death and Salim having gay sex with that genie.

I do like how Bryan Fuller took some stuff from Hannibal and applied it to this show to make it really cool looking and sounding.

Spartacus was an awesome show but I know the gay stuff on that show like with Nasir and Agron's relationship turned people off of it.

Weakest episode yet tonight, unfortunately. I understand why they wanted to take the time to fully explain Shadow's relationship with Laura as it was a big part of the book, but I don't think it translated to television all that well; it simultaneously felt like table setting and the show spinning it's wheels going nowhere which is not a good thing for a mid-season episode. I'd be interested to see the ratings and if they lost audience draw this week after 3 straight weeks of building as they kind of threw that out the door with this one, which I again understand from a narrative standpoint but still don't love as it kills the momentum of the show. It contained all aspects in earlier episodes and then chose to focus on a single one for this story, which I have a feeling will not be received well. People here have mentioned a few times how the "Coming to America" segments were some of their favorite parts of the show and they completely ignored that aspect of the story in this on. Not only that, but we went nowhere in the development of the New Gods at all, other than the news that Laura has superhuman strength in the show. I don't remember that coming up in the book but maybe I'm forgetting, it was awhile ago.

Anyway, yeah, not a great one.

Agreed. While I thought that they did a decent job of showing Laura's backstory leading up to meeting Shadow again but that was pretty much it. I did like Laura's interaction with Mr. Jacquel before she got resurrected and killing Technical Boy's henchmen at least. I can understand if they didn't do a Somewhere in America segment this week since they did two last week and she was the primary focus. Next week should be better I think.

They didn't do a big gay sex scene until season 3. And I couldn't stop laughing.

But all gladiator movies and such make a mistake when they decide to only be subtextually homoerotic. I love the show for its political drama and 1000fps graphic novelly action and visuals, but you're missing out on a huge audience of gays and women who can appreciate it more fully.

Also there's literally a whole episode about a guy's prosthetic dick.
Also this. They threw this in at one point. Is that her dick? Did she get it from a dead guy? Why is a hand missing?[%] This show asks the big questions.

That sucks. Moore wasn't the best Bond and his films were pretty camp (especially Moonraker) but he sure made his version pretty memorable. Funny enough I went to a CHIKARA wrestling show about 3 1/2 years ago that was named Moonraker.

And Lisa Spoonauer.

Moore was absolutely the best bond if your Bond is camp bond. Honestly View To A Kill is my favorite bond movie. Everyone in it is beyond camp except for Grace Jones, who is still the most intimidating woman in a bond movie. But Grace Jones was asked to design her own wardrobe for the movie. So in that regard she's as camp as the rest.

Connery holds up pretty well too in that regard. Connery is just the best all-rounder. And most importantly he was there for the formation of what we think of as the quintessential Bond which is probably a bigger contributor to it than Connery himself.

Anyway the file size limit is still too small on this board for me to easily post the View to a Kill theme song but it's fucking great.
