That music? That environment? The emphasis on how weird and intense it was to be colonizing, and how vastly different and contradictory it all was, compared to UK culture and ideology, and how vastly different that is in itself along class divides.
Theres' a lot of spooky synchronicity and rumination stuff going on in the picture as a whole

So does this movie really exist, or is it just some hoax? Who would spend $100k on a movie full of recognizable comedians and never release it?

I found a supposed movie intro on Newgrounds and it also states that it had a film screening, implying that a copy exists:
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/397518

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1024661/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_56

Essentially I'm guessing it was just a full length version of Puberty Pals:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iiuwkqyhqh0

Maybe some the actors thought it would be career cancer, and paid to have it never see the light of day?

This is pretty interesting, OP. I googled it and was expecting to find more people asking questions about this movie, but it seems like this is some really obscure shit.

Who knows? Although
>Maybe some the actors thought it would be career cancer, and paid to have it never see the light of day?
Seems unlikely to me. Is that a thing? Actors paying to stop movies being released?

I can't find any black and white answers, but the rumor is that Bill Cosby bought the TV rights to Leonard Part 6, to keep it off TV.
Then there's the infamous Don's Plum, that DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire have gone out of their way to prevent release of.

Through the ages of mankind, there has been a theme that has followed us through the antediluvian time of nature, to the places of Greek epics, tales of northern gods and ale besides bonfires, the colorful pages of a comic book all the way to the big screen.

I am of course talking about being a total badass. There are tons of badass fictional characters, we have all seen someone who just was undeniably badass. Maybe it was a bald dude with a plan, a sly guy who pulls of wearing a hat or a massive beefcake monster who kills things with axes. We all got a favorite.

My vote goes to Country Mac.
Who is your favorite?

in shaman king the mc's family runs a hot spring bed and breakfast I think, so they spend a lot of time there. no moe fanservice crap to my knowledge but plenty of drug references. They had to edit out the mc's pot leaf shirts for american releases and later japanese ones but everything else is there. also you have to stick to the manga, the anime is only good for a few episodes before it goes off-canon and comes up with some ridiculous yet generic story with barely any correlation to the manga version.

does anyone know if the UK version has a better track record (as far as the restaurants actually surviving after the filming)? I just watched a UK one where he fixed up an Indian restaurant and the manager guy actually seemed to understand what he did wrong and commit to the retooling, unlike a bunch of the American versions where they're saying they get it, but it doesn't seem like it's really sinking in, and they usually fail sometime after the episode is filmed.

I have no idea what the US track record is, but i think most of the resturants are still open, not sure if they still have the same owners etc.

But if you're curious just google the episode name and im pretty sure people keep a tab on these things, give you full update on how things have gone since ramsey was there.

>First there was an opportunity, then there was a betrayal. Twenty years later, Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to the only place that he can ever call home. There waiting for him are old buddies Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller) and Begbie (Robert Carlyle). Sorrow, loss, joy, vengeance, hatred, love, fear, regret, self-destruction and mortal danger are also all lined up and ready to welcome him.

I saw T2 Trainspotting last night, and it is amazing. I don't really want to spoil too much, but it's largely original and not really based on Porno. It's a great film if you've seen the first or not. There are a lot of callbacks, but everything you need to know from the first film is in the exposition.

Seriously, go see it.

I work as a camera operator on feature films/network tv, and I handle EPK shit when production is slow to pay the bills.

A lot of directors (and producers) will travel to show their movies to an audience before national release. They usually pick 2 or 3 cities (depending on where the movie was filmed in real life or where the movie is set to be happening, the type of audience, or a place such as festivals) and do a few screenings.

Not all directors, but a lot.

I'm glad that Deadpool's success has given Marvel confidence again in investing R rated movies and TV-MA rated shows like Logan and Legion, both of which have been big critical hits. Then again, that's from Fox since they own the rights to the X-Men series but I would hope we see more in the MCU.

yeah man Enter the Matrix was dank as fuck. fun to play (from what I remember playing it on the gamecube, anyway) with an interesting story and cutscenes written and directed by the Wachowskis. it picks up right after the Animatrix episode Final Flight of the Osiris and continues on during the events of Reloaded, which ends up providing some context and filling in some gaps. it's worth watching the cutscenes on youtube, or even a full playthrough, if you're a fan of the series.
