I feel like I've seen almost everything or atleast enough that nothing seems original anymore. Especially action films and sitcom shows. Can anyone recommend me something different and good?

Madoka Magica is so fucking good. I'm watching it for only the second time like 7 or 8 years later, and knowing the plot makes the early episodes really fucking depressing and horrible.

Sayaka deserved the best and got the absolute worst

Utopia kind of falls apart at the end of season 2, but what a ride until then. The theme song would get me so hype as you hear it slowly creep up and crescendo just as an episodes cliffhanger hits. I remember a few years ago HBO was going to remake it but that fell through.

Probably for the best.

Yeah I forgot it was already over 500. Anyways I watched s01e09 of The Good Place where at the end, Tahani confronted Jiangyu about not actually being a Buddhist monk since she found his junk food and saw him help one of the demons tap a beer keg. I did think it was awesome when the Architect grew a pair and stood up to Trevor and told him to get the fork out of his neighborhood. I should have gotten into this show sooner.

I also watched the first two episodes of Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later. Obviously it's gonna be different from a comedic standpoint being less like Dazed and Confused and more like The Big Chill as its source of inspiration this season but I like so far. I thought the whole baseball scene with Andy and the guy that plays Eric on Santa Clarita Diet was pretty funny.

>>405982
I actually watched the first two episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine's new season. Still feels the same even on a new network but I really liked that episode. And man young Scully and Hitchcock, they were cool but it looks like all those wings made them fatter and lazier.

Currently in a rewatch of Breaking Bad. Didn't think I wanted to see it again but that shit sncuk up on me. I just finished Seven Deadly Sins, love it so far.

The only show I'm really watching as it comes out atm is STD.

Also I pretty constantly watch TNG and DS9.

Slowly working through TOS for the 1st time as well.

Should I post everything I'm watching? I watch a lot. I've never posted here before.

Finished season 1 of The Good Place. I couldn't help but laugh at the whole dynamic between Jason and Janet getting married and trying to have sex. What a great odd couple. I will say that the twist that the Good Place was actually part of the Bad Place and Eleanor, Jason, Tahani and Chidi were part of Michael's experiment felt pretty lame and cliche. However I'm interested to see how they can follow up on that as I like the show's characters especially Jason and Michael and its concept.

Now catching up on season 9 of Bob's Burgers and I watched episodes 8 and 9 tonight.

Watched the second episode. It was better and I like how the show has introduced the question of whether Wayne's race played a role in how the investigation turned out. I mean he was the one that suggested that they do secret surveillance on the neighborhood and marking the houses, which the dumbass DA decided to actually release to the media and scare the townspeople shitless. It didn't surprise me how mad Wayne was about that and blaming Roland for not trying to speak up enough and support Wayne since he knows his voice carries more weight because he's white. Maybe things would have turned out differently if they did the surveillance and kept the map a secret.

Naw the original animated is a bit more brutal in its dialogue and a few depictions of struggles. and a few scenes are changed.

The more they put out at once the faster they'll burn out the demand and possible variations. I don't like isekais either but hating on them for what they are is kinda like "All anime needs to die" on a smaller scale. Chill out, smoke more, and dont hate on things that you're not forced to watch and hurts nobody.
Also LOL I just checked the wikipedia page for isekai (don't remember why), where they mention Alice in Wonderland as an early example.

when will they release something stupid but über cool like panty & stocking again? something like if king of the hill and powerpuff girls have a child but without the typical current anime style, an art as soon as you see it you recognize where it's from. i expected pop team epic to be something like it but that was just pure shit, light randomness and popular references just for the sake of "lul so rundum xd". i've asked my friends what do they think of panty&stocking and absolutely no one watched, just DEBIRUMAN and other shounen shit for edgy underage kids. i mean i don't even watch anime anymore but fuck

It was good, but I thought it was way too meta. For instance, Colin on his trip literally tells you several true things about the mechanics of the story line. I knew the instant he said mirrors let you travel through time what that would mean.

If you get the 5 star ending Stefan tells the therapist that in order to finish his game he only made it seem like audience had a choice-he was really in control of the ending. which is of course how all choose your own adventure works.

Lots more too, and thats besides the obvious stuff.

Holy fuck, if even half these shows are done well, we are about to become spoiled as shit. Just look at this list of A-list properties
>Lord of the Rings, Good Omens, Wheel of Time, The Watch (Game Of Thrones spin-off), Star Wars, Y: The Last Man, Lovecraft Country, Watchmen, Locke & Key, Witcher, Kingkiller Chronicle, Halo, Vampire Chronicles, Hyperion, The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, His Dark Materials, Welcome To the Night Vale
How will I find the time to watch all this stuff?
Anyway, what are you most hyped for? Feel free to post anything I missed.

I was looking around and seen this...

https://www.tribunefairdeal.com/

>Tribune is seeking excessive fees for its broadcast station as well as forcing consumers to pay for networks like WGN, which very few people watch.

>but that is not good enough for them
>This is how Tribune Broadcasting operates. Driven by greed,
>Why is Tribune acting this way? Perhaps it’s because they entered into an agreement to be purchased and are trying to make lucrative packages for their executives after the transaction.
God damn!

Mobile internet is also going to be strongly competing even more on the side of Internet streaming as coverage, speed, and data plans keep improving.

I get good LTE coverage with T-Mobile and with plans as cheap as $30/mo. all the major (dozens) streaming services don't use any of your data from your data limit. I have 5GB high speed LTE and unlimited overall. I've burned through tons LTE data binging YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu using my phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

I'm pretty sure all the carriers have these unlimited streaming options to varying degrees and it will just continue to get better in every aspect.
I find T-Mobile significant because it's plans are the same whether prepaid or post paying. It's makes streaming media so easy and cheap.

Too bad SBG couldn't buy out Tribune and get ROH onto a bigger platform. But these companies always pull this shit so they can get more money from their cable and satellite providers.

Streaming is fine but sometimes I want a local copy for when my crappy internet goes out...

If you pay for both, then yeah. Sometimes you can get like welfare internet and basic cable for like $80-$90, but you pretty much have to pay over $100 a month to get both.

I got myself one of those flat square antennas and it actually gets reception (I've gotten shit reception at past apartments) so I just use that for locals and just pay for internet from the only ISP available since I live in an apartment and not a house I own. If I want picture quality that gets my dick hard I just buy a 4K blu-ray when they're on sale for cheap, otherwise I slum it with the 720p and fake 1080p/4K streaming that Netflix/Amazon/Hulu/etc. offer.

Anyone see those Fyre Festival documentaries on Netflix and Hulu? Man Billy McFarland is such a con man and that whole festival was a disaster waiting to unfold.
