Are the dropping the whole season again in one shot? Damn my shitty internet.

It's hard to hear you talking over the gurgling sound of all the bile in your mouth.

>If I'm shitty, that's just because I'm shitty, and you're allowed to be mad at me, but you need to know that whatever I do, it's not your fault.

BoJack's already a better parent than either of his parents.

This show makes me fucking cry.

This season was fucking harsh. Usually there's at least one fun episode. Todd does something stupid or PC gets into shenanigans. Ex. the underwater episode. There's still progress and some sadness but its a break from the constant depressing. I don't think we really got that. The first episode almost counts but it still feels really sad with diane and everything.

I thought that by the finale this was the most positive, least depressing season of the show so far. Bojack begins to show compassion for his mother, finally pulls his head out of his ass and does the right thing by helping Hollyhock, moves on from his parenthood hangups and embraces being a big brother, and for the first time ends the season becoming a better person instead.

Damn what a season. I really do appreciate the show diving in deep into BoJack's mom's past. Pretty depressing stuff with Beatrice having to deal with her mom being lobotomizes and being in a shitty marriage with Butterscotch. This season was very much about family and Hollyhock's kntroduction definitely does help BoJack change for the better and grow as a person by the end of the season. While I do feel like Todd's stories seem repetitive each season, I do like his growth and seeing his interactions with BoJack and just wanting to be in between not friends and friends, I did enjoy the focus on Mr. Peanut Butter since there was a lot of good humor from him getting involved with the recall election and the depressing with his relationship with Diane. Same with Princess Carolyn coming to terms with not having kids and her relationship with Ralph.

What are you talking about? There was plenty of comedy this season including the whole downhill ski race and everybody getting stuck underground. This show balances the comedy and drama well.

I'm on episode 4 and it's been about a half and half. I'm not far but I think the bummers just outweighed the fun for you. Episode 1 is all good times and Episode 3 was a SLAYER Todd episode. 4 was a mixed bag but the only "Were all going to die" episode so far for me was the second one.

You know maybe I just got caught up in how depressing everything felt. There was a lot of character progression this season with bojack but a lot of the side characters that go through some shit got hit really hard so it kinda felt weird to me. I think I'll see more when I rewatch this season.

The show has plenty of depressive moments that viewers can latch onto but I think this season had more of a focus on the show's other main characters with Diane, Todd, Mr. PB and Princess Carolyn than in previous seasons so maybe that's why.

They took the Princess Carolyn tongue twisters to a whole new level this season. Some of them we downright artful.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's underrated. An overwhelming majority of critics and viewers go wild over how good it is each season.

However Idk if it will ever be like GoT or Breaking Bad with their huge fanbases. Like, at its height, every single person in my office or in my classes or aynthing was watching it and discussing it. And at least online, I see the same huge fanbase for Rick and Morty. This show's audience being a little smaller makes it so much less of a headache to discuss, lol.

Except the first half of season 1 but yes it's a critically acclaimed show. Obviously not Netflix's most popular show on the level of Stranger Things or something like that. I'd compare its popularity to something like The Venture Bros. Both acclaimed shows with well written characters and storylines with small dedicated fanbases but not as popular as the likes of shows like South Park and Rick and Morty.

I don't think he's in there, not that I'm some sort of genius at these things but I looked through it bit by bit and it would kinda be the joke, since he's been gone from LA for a year and some change by the end of ep. 2[%]

[%]Penny and Charlotte and the gang are also missing cause they're not in LA. also everyone that's dead, like Sarah Lynn or Herb are missing
