Alex Jones exposed as Russian shill by Hugh Clebberchen - Wed, 08 Nov 2017 21:49:02 EST ID:qetGCKL9 No.163254 Report Quick Reply

Over the past three years, conspiracy site InfoWars has copied more than 1,000 articles produced by Russian state-sponsored broadcaster RT to its website — all without the permission of RT.

According to data from social sharing tracking website BuzzSumo, there were at least 1,014 RT articles republished on InfoWars since May of 2014. The articles appeared on InfoWars with a byline credit to RT, but a spokesperson for the Russian broadcaster told BuzzFeed News that InfoWars did not have permission to re-publish its content.

This has been pretty obvious for a while now. I remember someone did a visualization of all the links between the major distribution hubs for Russian propaganda sites. They basically all link to each other in a massive network. Infowars was a major hub on the graphic (breitbart and fox news were on there but were smaller with less links to and from. Ron Paul institute was also on there btw). And of course if you spend one second listening to his rants it becomes immediately clear he's parroting lines that Russian propagandists are pushing.

Actually it was his ex-wife's attorney that said he was an actor or that his show is an act.

But yeah even if he said his show was an act in the middle of one of his broadcasts, his idiotic fans would still keep coming. At this point, his followers are so entrenched that if you could make this so clear that they understood they were being manipulated by Russia (or by using Russia) to sew dissent in America, they'd probably just decide to defect to Russia.

I thought it was the other way around, the ex-wife was trying to separate from jones, and prevent him from having custody because she believed jones was mentally unstable and didn't want her kids around his insane ranting, which forced jones' attourney to say that all his batshit conspiracies were all an act to suggest that jones is actually sane enough to take care of his children.

Essentially a catch 22 where jones had to either retain his audiences' gullible belief in his crackpot lies and risk losing his kids being seen as mentally unstable, or admit that his whole show is bullshit and an act in order to retain some form of custody of his children, yet risk losing the audience that actually believed his bullshit.

>Some of it is true
even a broken clock is right twice a day they say.

but seriously though, even the bits that are actually accurate are blown out of proportion, and where he really gets nutty is always in his analysis of the source of these happenings.

hormone pollution is a real thing, sure, but saying "it's turning frogs gay" is a ridiuclously dumb way of explaining its effects, and the idea that it's intentionally done for the purpose of some nefarious government plot to feminize the world is straight up retarded. "kind of dumb" is way too generous.

the gay bomb never went beyond a single paragraph in a proposal letter either. but the concept is so ridiculous that people like to play it up like it's something the military seriously considered.

the fact that you buy into that line of thinking is really quite telling.

The scientist behind the 'gay frogs' experiment concerning fertilizer himself said it's not turning them gay. He says it on Democracy Now.

The only people threatened by it are people in close contact or near water near a farm using them. And even then, they don't affect humans nearly the same way. Instead, people directly exposed may have fertility issues but that's about the worst of it. No one turned gay from it. Not even frogs.

https://youtu.be/mP-6Gp5RbjQ here's the interview

Transcript: https://www.democracynow.org/2014/2/21/silencing_the_scientist_tyrone_hayes_on

It's more a case of corporate corruption than some insidious shadow government trying to turn people gay or feminized. Even then, Tyrone outsmarted the woman that was hired to spy on him while he was on tour talking against Syngenta. Far stretch from some all-mighty global manipulators.

That means Jones wasn't right about anything. He took a simple story of corporate shilling and turned it into a massive conspiracy to make people like Queen.

And what's ironic is that the chemical in question is outlawed in European countries and not here in the states. The place that is called sissy by certain Americans have less reason to become feminized, even if it were true. So if anyone's weak, it's Americans.

I've always been bigger than everyone my age, but I was raised Christian. Then I saw it politicized. My mother went to work at 5 and I was left to find my diabetic father in a coma every other week. When I EAS'd from the marine corps I embraced my alpha status while still embracing the benefits of socialism. The military is the biggest communist establishment out there. The gym rats are the most insecure faggots out there

Could we get this visualization? Relevant:

This article says both right and left leaning divisive propaganda has been traced to Russian psyops so I'm interested to see if that graphic includes not only FOX infowars etc but also outlets like MSNBC and other liberal sources (perhaps Mother Jones, Buzzfeed, Jezebel etc).

I'm willing to believe there is significant fuckery going on from both ends of the spectrum and a diagram showing only right leaning Russian sources may be incomplete or even disinformation.
Phyllis Fangerwell - Mon, 13 Nov 2017 10:01:40 EST ID:eNO2QElp No.163342 Ignore Report Quick Reply
On the left, you'd probably find fake "left leaning" groups on Facebook: https://www.texastribune.org/2017/11/01/russian-facebook-page-organized-protest-texas-different-russian-page-l/

I know there's a thirst to try and prove wrong doing on "both sides" of major media outlets, but there's just not. this is a problem with the right, and the right doesn't care, even when alex jones said he was sensationalizing stuff in court (during his divorce proceedings).

as far as facebook & social media fake news, people are, by and large, really bad (to the point of stupidity - and guess who wants to slash education budgets?) when it comes to assuming their opinions are true and will use even the flimsiest headline they see on facebook or tweet to confirm it.

and what is al franken doing berating facebook for "allowing" this to happen on social networking (http://fortune.com/2017/10/31/franken-facebook-russia-investigation/ )? when is al going to do something about SBG's fake news? when is he going to improve education to the point that the average american will be able to tell the difference between a news story, opinion, bias, and something completely made up? I'm kinda disappointed at the senate's take on this...

It's funny though because cognitive dissonance is required to be a member of either party. Everyone knows deep down in their hearts that both parties are bought and paid for and don't give a damn about who they represent, yet we still vote for them.

i think Trump's shitfest has really started to sink in with his voters. you don't see people back him up hardly ever anymore. all you ever see is this tepid, "yeah, well, you know, the country as a whole is so fucked up, yeah, the world over really" type shit, where people try to play down their previous support of trump and just try to blame the world/situation as a whole rather than a specific actor.

If you y'all truly believe that then y'all need to open your eyes up, this kind of ship doesn't just turn on a dime. They're still out there. All of these Republican incumbents dropping out in 2018 is because the Trump base is overwhelming the typical Republican base with their louder yelling argument. And I think the Republicans that normally vote for those incumbents are going to vote for whatever mother fuck Steve Bannon puts up to run on the Republican ticket, because that's how this country works. People vote with their party cause "muh party".

Fuck 2 party politics so hard. At least with other countries, you may have more parties to direct your anger at, so you can't just all focus it in one huge back and forth. Some parties might switch their typical sides depending on the issue, so you may never really want to truly piss the other parties off.

pretty much exactly what was mentioned above (in this case in response to an Eli Lilly executive being appointed as Secretary of Health).

now that trump's chances of seeing through a successful presidency are becoming more an more obviously non-existent, the narrative has shifted to "it was always completely fucked and there was nothing that could have ever been done about it anyway!" the implication still being that it's not Trump's fault.

we're beyond just blaming congress at this point.
