I know many people will feel "So what" when it comes to Israeli actions in Palestine but Netanyahu is one of, if not the most hardline far-right PMs in Israel's history so this can only be a good thing.

Netanyahu is the worst. I don't think he gives a damn about peace.

While I sincerely hope that he gets the book thrown at him, I dunno if Israel has a Trump-Pence situation where impeachment or resignation would just mean he would get replaced by someone equally as bad or worse. Would there be new elections, and if so is there any hope that a left-wing or more moderate party would replace them, or is Likud locked in for the near future despite the scandal?

If anyone knows more about the nitty-gritty of Israeli politics please weigh in.
