whats your go to snack?

I've been munching on pub mix lately, since i've been cutting down on salty snacks and usually snack on dried fruit (non-candied kind) and used to get cheez-its.

i like snacks, needing new ideas (preferably healthy one's ain't gonna discriminate on snacks; snack general).

One of my favorites of all time is celery and peanut butter. It's really underrated. Good for fiber and protein.

i cut a chunk off a block of cheese and just start nibbling on it

usually these will be either manchego, parmigiano reggiano or something soft like this ewes milk cheese i cant remember the name of but god its delicious. its got this layer of ash running through the middle of it

also really love these bags of roast sunflower seeds i get from chinatown, this one has some mix of cloves and fennel i think, the husks are really flavourful to such and chew on if you so choose, and my god the seeds are just so addictive

My friend convinced me to get two, which I did but I’m not even through the first box yet. They are worth it though.

>>154761 preach it, i never understood the mint / chocolate combo, it just doesnt go well together. the individual flavor of mint doesnt bother me, but why would you combine it with something rich and comforting such as chocolate,it just completely overpowers everything that is tasty about chocolate

Mint chocolate chip is literally the worst flavor of ice cream; coffee is the best choice.

Come @ me bro.

Mint chocolate chip is da bess when the mint isn't too overpowering.

Mocha almond crunch is #2.

At the end of the day though the flavour is secondary to the quality of the ice cream. Vanilla is the most extreme example but if it's good stuff any flavour will be much better. This is the difference between "eating toothpaste" and making love to a kendal mint cake. The same holds for any flavour.

Dried anchovies from the asian food market. It's basically healthier jerky. So satisfying as drunk food.

Yeah, most of time. Jerky is mad expensive. I bought some no name jerky from portland that was family own, shit was like 10 dollars but it was the best jerky I had.

i can understand why though. jerky/biltong made out of good cuts of meat is gonna be a few large cuts of meat with something like 70% of their mass removed in the dehydration process so you end up with such a small amount
