He's hanging out with Butch Hartman (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jFAu5molLM) and releasing a Dr. Dancakes pancake setup with an electric griddle, colored batter, and spatulas. He really did it. He really moved from /nom/ to the big times. I'm sure he isn't reading this, but way to go man. From a bored and stoned pancake cook to the big time.

Does anyone have the original Dr. Dan thread screencapped? One of the few 420chan success stories. Up there with Yojimbo and Kerflap.

perhaps his pancake art became to beautiful to consume and the only thing he knows how to make are beautiful pancakes so he almost never gets to eat anymore except the rare times he screws up

This is kind of old news, he's got imitators and everything.

Also he's not our boy. He has stated repeatedly he started on circlejerk. I think if he namechecked 420chan that'd be disastrous for everyone, but it wouldn't hurt to acknowledge he honed his skills with on line communities before joining a big shit one

I guess you could think of Yojimbo as a success story if you hate the guy that much, but it'd take a lot more than just being a talentless bellend to make me wish death on a man.

I'm sure that he says he's from circlejerk simply because being associated with a chan, especially a drug chan, wouldn't be a great way to sell novelty pancake makers to children. circlejerk is one of the top visited websites in America like it or not, and it's a much easier way to explain to the gen pop that you essentially got internet famous.

I don't blame him for not namechecking 420chan, he's still our boy.

Yojimbo and Kerflap being listed as successes was a joke

>I started on smaller internet communities and took it to circlejerk
That's probably how you'd acknowledge your roots without drowning them though. Or just "I took it to circlejerk eventually". As I said in my spoilers, he I understand why he doesn't name us but to completely lie about it is shameful.

Why would a figurehead of a brand name drop 420chan? Sponsors would come here and find all kinds of stuff,
even excluding the drug stuff, unsavory enough to back out.

Fuck yeah, Dr. Dan. I still remember those original threads, and him trying (and failing) to get funding to buy his own pancake truck so he could quit his cook job and go mobile, so this warms my heart to see that he's made it big now.

>>155896

He came back to post on here in the last Dr. Dan thread talking about a TV appearance he had like a year or two ago. He's not a regular anymore but the dude never forgot his humble beginnings. Dr. Dan will forever be a 420bro.

I saw Dr. Dan at a concert one time. I didn't say hello because explaining how I recognized him would have been weird.

I saw Dr Dan at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I refuse to believe this. There's no way he's gotten as "famous" as he has with such a spergy attitude.

At least you guys got to meet him.
The one time I met him I ended up taking him out to dinner then to a movie. It was only at the credits when the lights came on in the theater that I realized I hadn't been with Dr Dan the Pancake man at all. I had instead been with Dr Dan: The Pancake.

A gigantic human shaped pancake that I had somehow been duped into thinking was an actual person.

I've been on some awkward dates in my time but that fluffy maple drenched bastard must be an all time low for me.
