This is all hypothetical. I am debating a friend of mine. Which one of these would you say would have a more guarenteed lethality both fired at point blank range in the temple.

1 .357mag bullet
2. 5 .22lr bullets fired from a Pepperbox vollygun pistol that can fire 6 at once.

I think it is definatly the 6 .22lrs. Especially considering they can usually penetrate the skill fine but not exit, so they bounce around.

Pic not related.

Lol very no

You get more energy with the .357

Besides, you don't shoot people in the temple. People shoot themselves there and end up just blowing their eyes out and destroying their face all the time.

Im from LA and in the wake of Roof shooting up the black Chruch,I'm pretty pissed I envy that little fuck a bit (hes not dead but in custody); they probably deserved it too. I was supporting the convicts who escaped from state prison in New York as well. However they made a bad decision heading towards Canada, they should have went South South West. One of the escapees died (good on him) the other was shot and re-captured (sad sack of bones).

However this about me and my support for people like this. Particularly Christopher Dorner. My mothers-ex was an aquaintance of Dorner, and I didnt have much of a perspective; besides oh shit this guy is cleaning up. But in hindshight and recent events he shouldnt have been going after fellow cops. For two reasons.

One you kill or assault a cop:
>No stone goes unturned.
>They all come looking for you.

For aome reason all these shooters killers fuck their own causes. Dorner shot other cops and their famillies, when he should have been targeting policy makers; elected officials. Brevik killed mostly white Norwegians, instead of hitting a Mosque on Ramadan. Roof landed himself in jail instead of landing a six figure job and having five white children that could go onto hreatness or at least mediocrity. Why do we men with arms and a cause fail?

I checked google/bing and got no results.

What is the etiquette on this? Is it sketchy to purchase a gun with cash? I don't see how it would make a difference with a handgun, with the background check.
What about longbarrels?
I've never bought a gun before but I am going to soon, and I would like to use cash for a longbarrel.
I wouldn't call myself paranoid, but I want there to be as little evidence of my purchase as (legally) possible.

So, do you think using cash would set off any red flags, or make anybody uppity enough to not sell to you? Especially being a first time customer?

Blastoise because I don't have any guns.

I'm just wondering if any of you have had any experience with gas masks. Which ones are the most versatile and effective? I'd like them to be able to resist at the very least tear gas. I'd also like them to have a water valve or something to connect to a canteen so I can stay hydrated without removing my mask. What are your experiences with gas masks? which ones do you recommend? do you recommend civilian issue or military surplus?

The newer NATO gas masks look pretty solid, they're like $150-200 though. Good field of view, filter can go on either side (good for left-handed shooters like myself).

That's about the same style mine is, except mine's a Mestel safety model.

It's kinda ostentatious for a gas mask but the visibility is excellent the visor does not fog up at all and is supposed to be shrapnel resistant. Haven't tested that because it was yeah, a $200 mask.

Helped me out a lot but after I got arrested and happened to have it in my possessions the mask smelled weird, like someone sprayed something nasty inside it. Sterilized it thoroughly and it seemed clean but I've considered selling it since. Can't be too careful these days with Obama's "right-wing terrorist hunters".

I have a gas mask I got from a military surplus store that has served me well. It doesn't have a way to drink without removing (was only $20) but I've worn it in extremely smokey areas and been fine. Also have gotten no ill effects from fart bombs and smoke bombs being set off near me while wearing it. The filter still works perfectly and was able to muffle my voice while I screamed and death growled for 12 hours while on 300mg of Dexedrine.

Worth mentioning it was the grenade launcher Yugo so it had the fatal flaw of the gas switch, also didn't have a .22 platform before this

could you elaborate?

Those red parts are made of cartilage, not bone.
Cartilage isn't strong or dense enough to penetrate bone.
Even if they were bone you couldn't get them far enough to reach the brain,

Damaging or shattering the ethmoid is probably lethal, you'd have to get past the maxilla (upper jaw bone) first though.

Probably the best way to kill punch someone is to hammerfist them at the C1-C5 vertebrae; the smallest bones in the spine are fragile and prone to shifting with enough trauma applied.

Fucking a... typed up a good response with plenty of martial arts backstory, but here's the short hand.

You're trying to cause massive trauma to the sinuses, while blocking the path of bloodflow out of the nose with the cartilage and as much nose material as can be shoved in, at an upward angle, so that it rips the tissues along that bone ya said is too hard to break with cartilage. The result is a good chance of immediately sending the person into shock, massive facial swelling, and flooding the escaping blood down into the target's throat. The combination should lead to death by asphyxiation.

The way I was taught (old filipino master who had a "fuck it, gonna teach them the good shit before the fatasses get back" moment) was essentially an upward palmstrike. Not quite sure how to explain it. Very fatigued at the moment.

Have a buddy selling his for 200 that comes with a lot of nice extras... my main issue with it though is the bolt and receiver do not match. How important are matching serial numbers when it comes right down to it?

I'd want this rifle to function for a long while yet and have a good amount of accuracy (as I know a good Mosin can achieve) but not having a matching bolt/receiver... does that really matter?

It's an M44.

Good deal OP. Like the other dude said, have a gunsmith check the headspace or do it yourself. If that's good then take it out the range and see for yourself how accurate it is. I've shot a few brands of 54r out of mine, but nothing compares to the Czech surplus in the picture.

$150? For an M44? The gun shop down the street from me if selling M91/30s straight of the crate, coated in cosmoline, for $190. It's not 2005 anymore, $200 for an M44 is a good deal, if the headspace is okay.

I bought it.

Honestly having a rifle that isn't in the books is worth an extra $25 or $50 to me.. I'll let you guys know how it shoots when I take it to the range.

It still reeks of cosmoline... makes me happy.

Gotta love that Hammer and Sickle.

Nice! My 91/30 doesn't have a hamemr and sickle, just the arrow inside a star.

Yeah that symbol signifies it was manufactured at Izhevsk, one of the two the M44 can have there. The other one is the star with an arrow and that means it was made in Tula. I'm happy it's the hammer and sickle hah
