So I've got some motherfuckers after me. I owed a small amount of money, paid it to the guy then he tried to sucker punch me. I was tripping really hard on acid and he had someone else try to lure me into a house and hold me there until he showed up.

I felt the set up, everything just felt wrong. I may have ran my mouth and there are probably other reasons behind all this but the point is I don't need to get jumped by two thugs or sucker punched. I always carry a knife, and I pulled it when he tried to hit me. I was tripping so hard I could barely see, let alone fight. Not to mention this all this happened near the police station!

I can defend myself with a knife, but they carry knives too. I don't want it to come down to that. This shit will probably blow over, but until then I need to carry some sort of weapon.

I was considering ordering an extendable baton. Or maybe pick up a larger knife, brass knuckles or mace. I need something that will fit in my pocket.

I've held the police issued ones, they are fairly heavy and made of steel. The ball on the end would put a dent in your head. It's like a baseball bat but you can swing it way faster and less of a chance of someone grabbing it. Also, you don't have to get too close to the person to crack them in the dome.

Just buy a gun and get a CCP if you can. Carrying batons is the same as carrying a firearm or a knife over a certain length in pretty much every state. Same with switchblades, throwing knives, nun-chucks, swords, automatic knives etc. They are all considered weapons usually unless you state is really weird. Even red states have banned carrying of these types of things.

Legally speaking, beating the fuck out of an attacker with a baton and hospitalizing them is far worse than just shooting someone and killing them. Also you end up in civil court 100% by beating someone's ass over a 60-70% chance of civil court with a gun and killing someone. I've never known anyone to defend themselves with fists that don't go to jail for at least 3-6 months. If you whip out an object and even swing and crack an arm, you're likely going to prison regardless and will foot the medical bills as weird as this country is. If it comes out that you owed them drug money, everyone will be sitting in the can bro. Especially if you test positive and they get raided. The party van will come for everyone.

It literally is just best to shoot to kill in this country. Carrying around an illegal telescoping baton and defending yourself with it; while it seems logical, is legally abhorrent.

Best to stay away from them and if they show up to your house or your car, blow them away. Felons can own muskets and blackpowder. Buy one of those cap and ball revolvers. You can get them for like 200. A decent baton that won't break will cost you at least 100 dollars unless you buy some convenience store shit that breaks before you can even extend it. Stay safe. And stop running from your debts you idiot.

I will also add that getting into a knife fight with anything other than an armored vehicle or a firearm is a very bad idea. Your baton may save your life in a knife fight but you're still gonna get cut up if it comes to actually fighting.

Additionally, buy bear spray. Nobody can effectively harm you if you blast a 20ft circle around you in bear spray. You'll probably blind yourself too as macing shit fucks everyone in a 10ft radius of it but you can probably run away while they are distracted. Pepper spray FUCKING SUCKS. It also isn't considered a weapon. Tazers are 50/50 weapons according to states. And they are kinda iffy. I mean the shooty ones are really expensive and the pokey ones are less than idea because you could just get knocked out or stabbed.

I had a quick scout around for you, OP, and this is what I could find online for free, out of the stuff I believe works.

These are the guys I subscribe to on knife combat.

Yeah, this.
But I would also like to say the ASP telescope Batons and the like, such as even black/slap jacks, can be fully illegal in some states even with a CCW permit; KNOW YOUR LOCAL LAWS.

Tasers are the "shooty" ones & stunguns are the "pokey" ones. ;)

Hey OP,

If they didn't stab you to death yet, here to recommend you do things Manhunt style and ambush them with a knife or improvised weapon.

Ambushing is the easiest way to get a tactical advantage. Even if you have to run and hide behind a corner to do it.

In the U.S., it's true, at least & especially if you or another is in threat of "grievous bodily injury" from another or if they're inside your house uninvited; castle laws.. Legally speaking, you could invite someone into your house that you want to get rid of and execute them then place a gun on them and say they threatened you with their unregistered gun and told you to let them in & give them all your valuables; it really might stand up if it happens at night. With that in mind, paranoia can get the better of you when you enter another's home.

We're warriors here in the US son, I know it doesn't fit eith your culture, but try and respect ours. We are taught from birth that it is better to kill than to wound, that it is better to dominate the battlefield than to play it safe, better to survive a master, than to die a slave.

I was going to comment about how you can never get caught shouldering the rifle by live witnesses, but you've already addressed it.

Holy shit it's information Gold.

Did the angled grips thing actually pass or is that some state level Cali bullshit that doesn't affect normal God fearing patriotic Americans?

My bad I didn't realize they meant angled foregrips.

The "stock" that's not an arm brace freaks me out.

It was deemed legal to shoulder a pistol brave a long time ago y’all living under a rock same thing with angeled foregrips on pistols, even better they now have collapsible pistol braces, there’s literally no reason to not have a ar pistol now as a faux sbr

Law vary from state to state; the pic I posted was merely an example of how laws can be misconstrued via individual state laws and intent.

No the ATF wrote a 2nd letter saying the 1st letter was wrong.

Did they write a 3rd one to clarify? I thought we were still at "legal to own you just can't shoulder it"?

You guys are all wrong and your going to make me scream like I’m autisitc, those are federal laws not state laws and it’s just straight up outdated and missinformation, you can shoulder a pistol brace ar15 they never decided against that ruling and generally the atf won’t go back on a ruling so your just lying through your fucking teeth saying you can’t shoulder them, you seriously want to make me believe that the guy who didn’t know angeled foregrips were legal on a pistol knows nfa laws as fluently as i do
