Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Adrenochrome? Here in Australia we call it Vamp Blood, because supposedly it turns you into a vampire.

It is acquired from a living donor's adrenal gland. Removing this gland kills the donor, as a dead person's adrenal gland doesn't work apparently. This is known as a blood sacrifice.

The effects of adrenochrome supposedly include euphoria, strong psychedelia, confusion, a change in train of thought, lack of judgment, poor insight and inability to concentrate. The high itself is believed to be like a hallucinatory amphetamine rush.

I'm getting some soon and I'm planning to whack it up, because it is said to stay in your system for ever, therefore turning you on to a Vampire. This means that you'll be on Adrenochrome permanently, and it could potentiate any other drug that you could ever take.

Does anyone have experience with this drug? There is not really any information online about it's psychoactive effects. Can anyone give advice or tell me anything about it? I'm wondering about it's short-term or long-term effects, and what it's like being a vampire? Any info is welcome, thanks.

Wasn't that in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Do we really know anything proper about it? How are you going to get some OP?

There's a few trip reports on erowid I think. But tbh I'd be very skeptical that it's even a thing. Like, maybe it existed for a while when Hunter found out about it, but I think most of that shit is just a myth.

Yep, just a non psychoactive oxidation product of adrenaline, no reason it couldn't be synthed, if it had any value, recreational or otherwise.

These adrenochrome effects sound like some made up stuff. However, please do report back when you try it, no matter if it has or doesn't have any effects.

there were some tests done years ago that proved it to not be psychoactive

also Hunter S. himself said he made that part of up story purposes, iirc it was as a way to condense a week+ binge of a plethora of drugs into one bite sized story element

It's not that it doesn't exist, it's that it isn't a psychoactive drug. But seriously, labels are always accurate.

The good stuff is in the pineal gland, and then it's really just a health drug. Tolomerase and some interesting peptides mostly, though you couldn't just eat it and expect massive effects. Maybe sublingual, otherwise you'd need to do a proper extract.
Does anyone know much about extracting long-chain peptides from tissues?

That's a Sigma Aldrich logo in the corner . They sell all sorts of interesting chemicals. Its intended for use in the lab though, they're not a drug company.

You're hella dumb dude. If you would've done a quick google search before you started running your mouth like you knew what you were talking about then you would've saved yourself the trouble of looking like a jackass. Adrenochrome is in fact a real drug, but it's not extracted out of somebody's adrenal gland like OP said. It is created by oxidizing epinephrine (aka adrenaline). So really all you need to do if you were to want some adrenochrome is go to the store and buy an Epipen (they're those things that people who are allergic to bees stab into their leg to stop from going going into anaphylactic shock) and squirt the liquid thats inside it into a sterile jar, put the lid on it, shake it up, and let it sit inside there for a while untill it goes from clear to pink. I'm serious, it's that easy. You just need the epinephrine to be in contact with oxygen long enough to oxidize and it will turn into adrenochrome which has a very distinct pink color to it. Now all you Aussies can make all the adrenochrome you want. Check out the link below if you don't believe me.
