Are the shadow people one can see on Ambien merely hallucinations or are they discarnate entities? What are they? I saw so many of them in my room. Some were tiny (like action figures and smaller), others very tall (their heads hit the ceiling), and the rest anywhere in between.
A side note, ambien is fucked up.

Ambien is one of my favorites! It takes the stress away and takes me to a very strange and wondrous place. I think its best enjoyed by daydreaming while lying down with your eyes closed. It goes nicely with a heavy indica

wondering what's a good recreational dose? I've taken it before but never seen shadow people or anything, just the mental state. Also any tips on how to avoid the annoying metallic taste you sometimes get?

Some people don't hallucinate for whatever reason. I took a light dose and tripped balls.

For me, ambien gives me the feel the objects are alive, not necessarily moving, and that they have a presence/spirit/are conscious. 10 and up to 15 could be fun. I tried 35/30 at a bad moment once and ended up trying to end my own life. Not fun.

Yeah I get this too, it feels almost like my consciousness splits or bleeds into my environment. I have had similar experiences during various hypnagogic states.

I've wondered about that and while it would make sense to me internally the thing is, it really is just a fucked up drug hallucination. Like I spent thirty minutes talking to my lamp once. Does that mean a spirit actually inhabited my lamp? Nope.

Perhaps, and I first did 10mg and tripped pretty hard, but then again it lost its magic soon after. That did not of course stop me from taking 100-150mg in one go many different times. I stopped asking for refills at that point. Even the tripping mostly stopped.

Yeah it honestly feels a lot like getting drunk and tripping on mushrooms or being drunk on LSA from seeds at the same time, but minus anything remotely enlightening like on shrooms. Would strongly advise against psych patients doing it. It was bath salts and PCP tier scary to me until I got more used to it, and even then it's a fairly scary drug because it is quite easy to go out of your mind, act on any crazy impulses with no inhibition, and black out the whole scene of events, only to find bizarre evidence next day and try to piece it together (or have cops/medics/your ex gf/family explaining it to you). It's basically like booze+benzo cocktail compressed into a hallucinatory pill. Odds of at least something being ruined by next day are about 90%.

I do miss ambien hallucinations...but years of use/abuse has given me pretty much a permanent tolerance (that even months of abstinence won't fix). Still gets me properly fucked up, but the visual aspects of the drug are long gone.
