What drugs can I use that will not interfere with schizophrenia? Weed and alcohol dont work too well on me.

Most drugs won't do well for you but if you do some loud the volume of the sound waves will cancel out the vibrations causing the nutty stuff going on upstairs.

I'm schizophrenic, I smoke Cannabis and I don't even have a problem with it.

At first, smoking again was hard because it would freak me out but after continued smoking it feels good again and chill vibes are had.

This. Diagnosed schizophrenic, toking again was hard at first but now its nothing but chill.
if I had to guess why, it could be that the negative effects are surpressed by my medications - I'm on an SNRI antidepressant and an antipsychotic. Compared to smoking weed before I was on meds - its much more chill and stoney but has less trippy effects (which I think is a fair trade).

Another thing is that I give myself plenty of time to recover from sessions. Even with the antipsychotic sometimes I can still trip kinda hard when the stars and planets align, taking a break when that happens gives me time to digest the trip and keeps my mind level.

I was diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder almost 5 years. I am sober now, but it took a lot of hard learning to figure out what I could and couldn't take with this illness. I was fortunate enough to find medication that really works and leaves me 98% symptom free as long as I take it.

Marijuana was out of the question - even with medication it throws me into a very strong psychosis. I was smart enough to stay away from psychedelics. DXM also threw me into a bizarre psychosis - more intense of a "psychosis," if we can call it that, than it gave me before this illness. Adderall also worsened my symptoms. I could do cocaine in "moderation," up to a gram at a time without any trouble, but binging on it longer was a no no, and who the hell wants to do JUST a gram of coke??

Here's what I could do.. Bare in mind I was a heroin addict and an alcoholic long before my diagosis. Opiates, alcohol, and benzos. Just about ruined my life being limited to those three, not that they didn't have a strong grasp on me to start.

I want to make it very clear that any drugs with this illness that you can do without going off the deep end could become unhealthy methods of coping that you might end up relying on.

Honestly, you're better off taking nothing.

Tobacco and caffeine, energy drinks, various teas, they induce less important experiences, but can be coerced into mildly intense times if you do it right.

By remembering how wise you are about your mind and remembering powerful experiences and realizing things you can do with those memories and their energy. you're one step away from an important experience. just getting high from life , while on caffeine etc.
