Broken Typings in PoGo? by Dr. Pikafresh - Wed, 07 Mar 2018 10:03:31 EST ID:MjlMMmZk No.229279 Ignore Report Quick Reply

I picked up PoGo a few weeks ago to play with my coworkers, but I've noticed a few mismatched in typings. For example, ice attacks should be not very effective against my Jynx, but they are average effectiveness. Has anyone else noticed issues with typings? All the issues I have seen are specifically with dual-typings.

Also general pogo thread.

No idea, but I have experienced tons of hacking. No one will be around a pokestop and suddenly they take it from me and fill it up.

Update: I've tested this on Skarmory too (against which rock moves should be averagely effective). However, they are "not very effective" in PoGo, despite steel resisting rock and flying being weak to it. In both cases, the game acts as though the pokemon is only its primary type. Keep an eye out for this and I think you'll find it to be true. What's stranger yet, is that I can't find this information anywhere on the internet. I didn't look very hard, but get off my dick I'm doing my best asshole.

I've run into hacking too, and it sucks. I have this hacker that targets a Gym near my work, and, well the full story is that I'm involved with security on government property, and because the area that I'm stationed at is small, I'm alone on some days, with part of my job being to make sure that nobody is around. I thought I was doing good until I noticed that somebody is perpetually in the Gym (located right in the area I monitor!), two people actually. After a few weeks of ramped up security, we figured out that they must be one person using two rooted phones in order to location-spoof. I do all I can to keep him away with my proud array of bird pokemon, however blissey. Still I've beaten it a few times, so hang in there and keep fighting them mate. Team Instinct needs us.

If you aren't on Team Instinct get the fuck out you little faggot

Alternatively, you could always report them to Niantic directly with this link here.

I'm instinct my dude. I'll use that report system. It happened today. I beat a gym, deposited, and rolled. Before I could reroll again there was a a Dragonite, Steelix, and Mightyena there.

/po/ is instinct baby. I'm glad you reported that dude. That shit ruins the gym experience for sure. Alt accounts and location spoofing make things less fun for the cheater even.

Next time you battle a dual type, pay extra attention to the effectiveness of your attacks. My butt is pretty sore over dual types not being implemented properly.

Was in a raid with a charizard today. Rock type attacks were super effective but not more damaging than water.

Charizard is a lot better off as a pure fire type, but it still seems wrong.

Anyone try that research feature they just introduced in Pogo? I caught a Moltres with it. I heard you can get Mew too.

I got an 84% moltres, but so far I've only gotten one Zapdos since I started working again.

Got a <90% gastly, machop, and abra the other day.

Cool, I got 3 Moltres all in the low 80s, I'm not positive but I think the IV is better if you don't skip days on the research, I missed quite a few days on Moltres but with my last Zapdos I only missed 1 day and it was 89%. Just my two cents.
