Magick is simply harnessing your will to affect others. Politicians and celebrities are the most visibly successful practitioners.

No one with any degree of understanding would really see the need to anyway.

That's probably what they want you to believe.

Otherwise you'd realize how all-powerful they are and decide to revolt like some kind of Penn Gilette (but he is a honeypot for anti-magic rebellion cuz he's a magician who calls his magic tricks to fool you)

Not personally, but there are people who I am convinced did succeed.
Austin Osman Spare, Aleister Crowley, Helena Blavatsky, Adolf Hitler and others.
To me magick is very very subtle and gradual and does not manifest in supernatural terms but in changes in peoples conciousness and in society.
Without these people, ww2 and the birth of the New Age would probably never have happened. Proof enough for me.

Nah not really. I mean hell, I'm not sure if even I have.

It seems when I'm just relaxed and happy my thoughts and wants align with what the universe can provide with me at the moment. This effect added with drugs can make me feel all magical, but honestly I'm not sure if I have a mind to just say "IT WAS MAGIC MANG" anymore.

I mean honestly after the last time I thought I performed magic I lost an honest desire to really manipulate anything without my hands. It just seems too close to my past insanity for me to want to do it.

And this whole thing about "not wanting to do magic now" could be my mind rationalizing not getting the stimulus input from the "magickool workings" I used to do. Like, I can't do it so I think to myself I don't want to do it.

PS does anyone think hypnotists are jerks? I mean seriously they manipulate a very annoying loophole in the human psych and laugh about it for personal gain. Fuck them. I wouldn't want someone tinkering with my shit as I would or have thought I did fucked with people before.

i wont tell you about all my exprences, but one of the more strange ones

>do a working on person
>sitting in a room with four peopel and the person i had in mind
>we are all talking
>suddenly this person is like "whats that sound?"
>we all get quite
>"its coming from you"
>im confused i dont hear any thing tell her i dont know what shes talking about
>all three of us agree shes hearing shit.
>everything works out how it was planned that night
>thanks god!

that's not really proof and id be surprised if anyone can prove anything to you hear. just a cool story, it could of just been amazing coincidence, but clearly i don't think so but i wouldn't blame others for thinking that.

i dont think its fair to give advice to people about how to be sucsesfull because i think thats on you. but personally for me now that im older i hardly ever do magic because i dont feel the need. but rarely ill feel that passion and that's when i know its right to work, ive been that way sense i was a kid. i don't understand it or don't know if its just some head trick but, i feel it sometime and i love it, and am always grateful.

also please question your motivations shadow work; is a scary sounding term for psychoanalysis. just before you do any work question it and why your doing it. if your motivations aren't true or are based in some weirdness you might be unsuccessful or worse yet you may actually be successful. i don't think it needs to be done every time but just let intuition be your guide.

also just keep practicing visualization, even for little things. i used to try and change the color of my eyes when i was a kid for fun. maybe you could try that. intuation for as far as i can tell is the most important thing too. just know yourself and your god what ever one you make up. an be grateful, accommodating, and understanding to your own personal jebus or what ever.

If magic is anything at all, it is numbers, language, ritual and art.

I bought a really interesting book a few years ago called "Esotera". It's a collection of articles that were printed in this "extreme culture" magazine. I had a similar "eureka" kind of moment with all this "magik" type shit that I once had with religion.

When I was young I saw everyone who was religious as deluded, this was before circlejerk militant atheism and I wasn't quite as extreme, but I was all into that "imaginary friend for intellectually stunted losers looking for answers" type thing

Then I realized how the majority of the worlds most brilliant minds had been religious, and it wasn't simply that they were "products of their time". It took me a while for me to see that magick is the same way. And I don't still don't believe in either, but it's never as simple as some deluded fool searching for answers. There's something to it, even if it's not spiritual.

I truly believe the imagination is in a sense a real place. What could possibly be a tool to bring (summon if you will ) things from there to this world? art.

You can even visit the place in your waking state by ingesting certain substances.
There are gods, demons, angels and everything else you can imagine obviously.
Some things are shared by all and can be witnessed by several people, who have nothing to do with each other (speaking from personal experience).
The collective conciousness is in my opinion the same thing.

Please do elaborate on what you think magic is and we'll see if you can convince me otherwise.

All mAgick is, the real power, is the ability to control human will, at your own will, at any time, and in any place, using the emotions inside you, manifested by ritual.

That's it.

If you think that controlling human will is some sort of feat to base anything off of, I believe that you are sorely mistaken. All that's needed to control most people, is a habituated acceptance of whatever practice, rule, or law, that is in place. Beyond that, some nice hair and a deep voice help, anything else is just tricks to keep people paying attention to you.

If you want to be a practitioner of what people seek with magick, you need to learn to control your own will, and to understand it. If you do not have understanding of the mental, you will not fathom the equivalency of the all.

Those who spell magick with a "k" aren't. I have done my fair share of greater magic rituals and they have helped. I also do use lesser magic on a day to day basis. I've explained this in an earlier thread, magic to me is simply applied psychology, the supernormal, and the unconscious mind. Here's the definition of magic I follow: "the change in situations or events in accordance with one's will, which would, using normally accepted methods, be unchangeable." Lesser magic obviously using the command to look and applied psychology (aka wile and guile). Greater magic being pscyhodramatic catharsis to focus one's emotions for a specific purpose.

The supernatural does not exist to me. Occultists of the past, like Crowley and Elphis Levi, are nothing but Right-Hand Path scum writing sanctimonious fraud—guilt-ridden ramblings and esoteric gibberish by chroniclers of magical lore unable or unwilling to present an objective view of the subject.

Fuck you hippies and white-light magicians for making magic one of the murkiest subjects to date.

Truth and fantasy are both necessary for each other to exist; but each must be recognized for what it is. I don't think I'm dumb as I am just a happy man. I don't know everything, I doubt everything but if you are unable to lift your suspension of belief how do you enjoy movies? Or are you such a cynical and depressed person that you can't have fun? And this stuff does work. Do you even know what a psychodrama is? It's a form of therapy. And Applied psychology is being manipulative and having people do you will. Charles Manson, Rasputin, Hitler, and others were fearsome magicians. With only words, tone of voice, confidence, the command to look these people able to be conquered and the wills of these magicians were done.

Let me ask you something, do you believe in God?

the proof is in your success.

If you need proof, you clearly don't understand what magick and will are.

That being said, no I can not actually prove anything at all in reality. But, I can tell you of some success I've had after using magick. When I was looking for a job for months and I had no luck. My girlfriend and I were starving because we hadn't eaten in two days and we were saving up to pay rent. I had just joined the OTO I was big into ceremonial magick, including solomonic and talisminic magick. I did a Goetic conjuration, and the next day I applied for a job a bunch of jobs, including some I knew I would never get. I landed a managerial position the next day without ever having been a manager anywhere else before.

Also, I met my girlfriend (after being extremely shy and foreveralone for years) the day after I made a talisman with an agrippa style cipher for the planet Jupiter, aka a magick square. I made it on a sheet of copper, charged it by doing a ritual with a printed out Sigilum Dei Amaeth and trying to evoke the Enochian spirit ENHB into a ccrystal ball and having the spirit bless the talisman (this is not at all how one typically handles Enochian magick, but I was a n00b) So i performed my ritual, mixing parts of the preliminary ritual of the Lemegeton with enochian magick. I had a metal difuser for incense on my altar and I filled it with alcohol and stared into the crustal place on the Sigilum. I couldn't seem to see the spirit in the crystal, and after an hour I decided to end the ritual, banish and close the temple. first I went to blow out the alcohol and it wouldn't blow out, so stupid me pours water on it and a big fireball and boiling water shot out of the difuser and burned my facial hair and probably almost set the houseon fire. The next day I burried my talisman in the woods. I met my girlfriend later that week at a bar I was walking by. I never go to bars, but something made me randomly go inside and order a beer.

A few other times, I used magick to pass tests in college. I usually studied a lot, and ended up with an A. (magick is just there to boost you. you have to do physical work along with your magick. you won't get a job without applying, etc.) But, one time I just couldn't read the chapter of American History and I knew I was going to fail. I randomly made a sigil with a different cipher I had created mysellf and engraved it onto a wax disc from a wax burner and I held it against my forehead (IDK what I was doing.) I took the test after that, and was pretty sure I had failed. Next day in class, yep. I failed, but so did the rest of the class, and the professor gave us a huge curve or something like 60 points.

I lost my managerial position, mostly because I quit, but the owners treated us all like shit anyway. Again I couldn't find a job. I wanted to know my true will, so I did my own version of the Abramelin ritual, which would take 1 month. I made the holy oil, I tried invoking my HGA but I couldn't after a week of my magickal retirement I was doing an invocation and I began to feel extremely tired so I just banished and laid down and I guess I fell asleep and I had a dream I was inside a blue ball-shaped room with a cone-shaped entity in front of me (I somehow knew it was an entity.) It was conical, but it was like a hole in reality at the same time, and I could look inside it and see what seemed like stars, but they were green, red, yellow, all different colors. All of a sudden it got really bright and a guy in a turban came out, he seemed indian and I was lucidly dreaming. I knew I was dreaming. I asked it if it was my HGA and all I heard was a loud noise kind of like a ship's fog horn. I then asked again and it mumbled something. I asked it if it could tell me my will and it said yes. I asked it's name and it said Hikbu. I asked it what I was supposed to do with my life and it told me "get a job. go back to school. save people." I woke up after a series of a few more questions, covered in sweat. I applied for jobs and a couple of weeks later I applied to go back to school for pre-med, while I was there I went to the career office and applied for a job at the school's student union in the book store and got it.

I practice rituals almost every day, I have a whole regimen. Since doing them I feel really peaceful. I do small rituals for things like helping me be happy, and helping me to be calm, etc. They work. Whether there are spirits, or whether magick is a form of psychotherapy, like a lot of magicians believe. It works for me, and a lot of other people. Also, studying it is fun. I suggest you order some books and, if all else fails, they're at least fun to read.

theres a secret toltec belief that places where people die are the places where life will re emerge as it is the cycle of life. from dead things, rotting material life arises.

east saint louis in america has the number one homicide rate of the nation. it was a native american city named cahokia in the past. it is also where the missouri botanic garden is located which has an enormous plant database.

the number one place in the world for homicide rate is in el salvador and san pedro honduras. this is around the ancient maya city of Copan.

shamanism was prevalent in both of these places as well as the toltec society where the legend of quetzalcoatl and mictlantecuhtli was developed. instead of interpreting these names as gods that were worshipped, you should understand them as presences of life and death instead of actual entities if you are interested in learning more about it, and xolotl is the name of an actual spirit animal. the xoloitzcuintli dog.

Can't exactly prove this because I didn't write it down the day it happened, but I once invoked Mars, asking him to "make war on my enemies", and that same fucking day my abusive stepdad had a massive heart attack and died. Still think it was a coincidence, but I've never been able to shake off the raw shock of such an unlikely coincidence happening. I'll always have that stupid little bias towards woo and supernatural bullshit now. No matter how logical and reasonable I try to be about this esoteric madness, I'll always have that nagging little voice in the back of my head saying "But what about that one time?"

No because any results from magic could have been done through science, too.

Otherwise it's mental/psychological and can be blamed on psychosis no matter how many people are involved.

Also no-one believes anecdotal evidence since the times mohammad said he saw an angel tell him to fuck six year olds.

HOW DARE YOU LAUGH!
Yeah... I admit, I giggled too when I first heard of the works of Satri Devi and Miguel Serrano. In fact, I giggled every single fucking time I read the words "Esoteric Hitlerism" in Adolf Hitler the Ultimate Avatar (of Vishnu) but by the end, I realized I agreed with, and already knew, all of the core beliefs. I do question Serrano's suspicions sometimes, but he did far more to verify than I could hope to do in a lifetime, though I will try none the less. He traveled to Antarctica in search of He who prepardd the way, he immediately traveledto India to welcome the 13th Dalai Lama on the very day of his exile, the only westerner to do so, and did much for his people (argentina) as an Ambassador and a spiritual leader. An astonishing career of an astounding man.
For the record, "esoteric hitler"ism/ist comes up 76 times in the book mentioned.

>blend of nazism and hinduism
Not quite. The term Nazi is just shorthand for National Socialist (party) and is primarily a political party, who's stance was influenced by traditional (culture) forces and neo-traditional magicians of the Thule society who were the embodiment of the New Age of the day. (I actually have a conspiracy theory that we Esoteric Hitlerists were somehow responsible for the hippie era, all the UFO cults that were cool, and the chaos magick scene, possibly by accident.)
Esoteric Hitlerism though, shares the vast majority of influences as the party had though, and has a legacy that threads it's self within.

As for the blend of Hinduism, that is a truly interesting one. You see, the people who are refered to initially as ArYan survived the last cataclysm pretty well by going underground in a region that's currently Xinjiang province, or possibly further east. When they came out it was a great grassy plain (coincidentally Eden means grassy plain) but then came climate change and they said "Fuck this, we're moving!" and crazy ascetics move into and onto the mountains, trogs and weirdos stay in underground town (eventually taken over by mystic cultists for their own good) and then they spread all over. I say this becuse Hinduism is a branch of the indo-Aryan religions and shares many of the same truths and gods, as does tibettan buddhism, and so too even Sikhism. The Swastika traces the path of the Hyperborean (fancy way to say norhman) blood and makes this easy to follow, but linguistics is the tool of power for understanding it all. Well, I need to smoke a bowl if I'm going to keep this up. Here is an image to help, though it's a second migration, not the first.
I could start a new thread if you'd like.
