My boy Greivis Vasquez locked him down that game and had a double-double. He's always been an underrated players. Lin's a beast though and will only get better. He'll probably lead NY to a title one day(whenever they learn to play team D), but it's funny how all these Knicks fans are coming out of the woodwork. Bandwagon fans are the scum of the Earth...

Oh and the whole "chink in the armor" thing was funny since I remember seeing that meme a while back.

>Looks like the NHL thread finally broke. It had a good run. Come here to discuss the NHL's 2011-2012 season

I'll post some general NHL questions to get this one going
Does Vancouver have what it takes to get back to the finals?
Who's your favourite player on the Canucks?
On a scale of 1-10, how awesome is Vancouver?
What do you think about the trade for David Booth?
Why is Vancouver the most hated team in hockey? They're so awesome.... I don't get it

Vancouver for life motherfuckers

I was at the canes vs caps game last night in Raleigh, and the entire time Semin, and Ovi were both non-existent. I think it has a lot to do with Backstrom not being out there though to be honest. Overall though, sitting right behind the bench I could see they didnt really have a lot of energy, they were hanging their heads and just not getting shit done.

I liked how I yelled at Hendricks to go fight gleason, and instead he fights that other dude twice about 5 minutes later.

I was the guy in the penguins jersey at the game behind the bench haha.

P.S: Suck it Stunnedqvist, Malkin is lord.

Fuck yeah go Hawks! Both goalies stood on their heads, but Howard made some amazing saves. After the second period I was wishing for God to strike him down. It was a great game with a playoff atmosphere, it was fun to watch. I'm just glad the Hawks walked away with 2 points.

Sup Kings, you mad?
Seriously though, needs more Coyotes.
Out of the past 9 games, they've only lost one to Vancouver and they lost 2-1 in SO.
I thought they were going to do horrible without Ilya Bryzgalov, but Mike Smith has been a great pick up.

Hey guys.

I play basketball for pretty much half my life.
I'm turning 28 soon and college/jobs/private stuff is wearing me out at times and I noticed I can't play as I used to. (ganted I play in a pretty rough gym LOL) My main problem is that I lost confidence in the zone. I can't drive to the hoop anymore without someone hindering me and I feel like I'm very easy for other players to push aside when it comes to the obligatory cage fights under the basket.

I'm 6'3 and I weigh about 75 kilos (sorry, I don't know the American weight measurement :P) so obviously I'm on the lighter side. Is there a way to make my way under the basket or am I doomed to become one of those players you rather not pass to?

Baseball season is slowly creeping up. How do you feel your team will be doing? Or anything Baseball general.

Let's go!

Hoping the Dodgers can play like the did in the second half of last season. However, inconsistency is our biggest enemy (and now with more old people). Hopefully everyone will shut their mouths about the ownership situation.

but the one thing i don't like is how im from Chicago and have always been a Cards fan since i was about 7 and followed them so much even though they don't play them unless theyre playing the cubs and i get so much people calling me a fair wheather fan when ive always been a die hard fan.

Well an English team is definitely not winning it this year, considering all that's left is Arsenal and Chelsea and, well, they've been appalling this season.

Arsenal just don't have it anymore and seriously need their team and tactics shaping up to be able to cope against the big teams, the AC Milan game was an atrocious performance Van Persie must be a sure fire to leave at the end of the season.

I don't know what to think of AVB but i really don't understand the hype over a manager that led Porto to titles considering the league they're in. He needs to get rid of any negative influence in the team and definitely inject some good youth in there, Sturridge and Lukaku are examples of it.

Almost the kick-off to the new Premier League season, and it should be a good one.

United, Citeh and Chelsea all fighting for the title, while Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs will be aiming for 4th place. A number of clubs will be fighting for survival, Norwich, QPR and Swansea should provide stiff competition for Wigan, Blackburn, West Brom, Newcastle and Wolves.

Sunderland, Fulham, Everton, Stoke, Bolton and Villa will all be looking for a top 10 to 7th place finish to build on last years achievements.

Other news - Spurs' clash with Everton has been postponed due to the riots earlier this week.

Weekend's fixtures:

Blackburn v Wolverhampton
Fulham v Aston Villa
Liverpool v Sunderland
QPR v Bolton
Tottenham OFF Everton
Wigan v Norwich
Newcastle v Arsenal
Stoke v Chelsea
West Brom v Man Utd
Man City v Swansea

/sport/ is dominated by shit American sports (when it's active), so I'm trying to make a Premier League preview every week.

I've always admired Everton under David Moyes; he's done a fantastic job of working with very limited resources. I bet he dreams of having more than a couple of quid to spend in a transfer window...

Suarez is a lowlife, but I get even more annoyed with Dalglish's bitchy attitude towards journalists. He can't spot a transfer, the team's stagnant, LFC would be better off under a new manager imo.

since you're a beginner, go for it. call him up and see if you could get 10 bucks off it. it won't matter much, when i first started skating (first time i rode a board, learned to ollie, went off a kicker) i was using $20 completes from toys r us. truth be told a good board with abec 7s is probably too much for a beginner..so yea, buy it and some shitty wheels and bearings and learn from there.

Fuck your popsicle stick bullshit, ride old school.
But I like Zero Boards and 50 bucks is a ridiculously good deal. Get yourself some indie or bones red bearings and some decent wheels (Spitfire).
Those trendy Think boards, unless you just happen to know someone who wants to also sell you a used board and it just happens to be a Think, are going to probably be about 50 bucks for just the deck. Then the price of trucks is usually another 20 - 50, plus the small price of hardware, and then 15 - 30 dollar bearings, plus 20 - 50 for wheels, thats a lot of money all at once.
