Because they're the second and third seeds in the Central division, hence why they're playing each other. I think they should just switch to the NBA's system of having the top 8 teams in each conference seeded instead of seeding the top three teams in each division and then two wildcard teams by best record overall.

Pistons-Cavs should have been much closer but bad decisions by the Pistons sunk their chances at an upset. Drummond should have eaten the Cavs alive in the paint with the Cavs opting not to play a center but he put up a dud. Reggie Jackson killed his team by playing hero ball those last 5-6 minutes, too.

If they generate the revenue then I don't see why they shouldn't be paid more. They're definitely the better and more accomplished team compared to the USMNT, but their pay really depends on the advertisers. If they're going through with a lawsuit, though, then I'm guessing they have some sort of evidence of chicanery in regards to pay being lowered for no good reason. I read Landon Donovan saying that player wages for both the USMNT and the USWNT are determined via collective bargaining, though, so if they agreed to this pay and then decided to file a lawsuit then I'm not sure they have a strong case to stand on.
