I love rock climbing. The overall level of fitness and endurance required is pretty high, but it has something for everyone and isn't that competitive. The sense of exposure when you're halfway up a cliff is one of the biggest buzzes on the planet, no drug can come close (unless you take drugs while climbing, which isn't recommended).

I'd really like to get into climbing 'big walls' (800ft+, multi-day climbs e.g. El Capitan in Yosemite), but it costs a lot and the closest big walls to me are in Norway. Maybe when I'm older and have saved up some more.

Pic related, it's a portaledge, basically a foldable table that you sleep on when climbing big walls.

Well, that's not accurate. He missed game 3 and took 4-5 days to heal.

In fairness, I posted about it the day he injured his hand, before any of the pictures showing how bad the cut actually was were released. Like you pointed out it doesn't really matter anymore as he looked fine in game 4.

I don't think he is the only football player to commit suicide who wanted their brain left to scientific research. As I mentioned before, these guys get their brain smacked around so much it's a mystery what actually happens to them to cause so many cases of depression, from star to nobodies and all in between.

You are thinking to much into it. He obviously was going to kill himself, he probably just thought to leave his brain intact before he did it. Maybe he even heard about the other guy who did it, and it isn't even just a coincidence.

I was really disappointed when Rose was ruled out. Bulls vs. Heat would have been a great series, and I think it would have gone to seven and Bulls would come out on top. Fuck, now the Heat just get to prance right into the finals with little to no competition. The fact that this had to happen to Rose and not to that whiny, flopping, little prick LeBron just... sucks. Get well Rose.

Hand it to them for winning but i suppose when you park the bus for 70 minutes you've got to hope that you'll win.
Barca seemed sussed out tonight, no other option apart from their flair passing and it just wasn't Messi's night. They definitely need to invest in another large forward after Ibrahimovic, too many long balls were just flying over Barca heads.
Chelsea are going to have a tough match regardless of who they get pitted against; no Terry, no Ivanovic, no Ramires, no Meireles, no Luiz, no Cahill (depending on his injury). With no recognised centre-halfs it's going to be a lot to handle.
Still hoping for a Chelsea-Bayern final.

Some will say that they fell off a long time ago; but I think in the past couple weeks it's really becoming apparent. I love to watch the Celtics just put a hurting on them.
I live around cleveland so I saw all the cleveland games when Lebron played for them, and he's really fallen off. The league has learned how to defend him, and he just can't get to the hoop like he use to. He's still one of the best in the league, no doubt, but the whole league has learned how to put Miami down.

Boston on the other hand, just has a collection of the world's best players. they drain every single shot. They're still the best, world class team. I dunno.

I'm a 76ers fan, so I have seen a few games throughout his career, and I'd stop short of calling him clutch....

He's not a bad player, he's a good roleplayer, and a great shooter... but I wouldn't say he's clutch... Not in the sense that, say, Kobe Bryant is clutch, or even Dwyane Wade. With time running down and I need a bucket to tie/go ahead, I'm not feeling super warm and fuzzy if Kyle Korver is my best hope...

Maybe if he's wide open (which is how he scores a bulk of his points) I feel better... but in a playoff situation, where no one is gonna leave him wide open to hit a jumper without at least a hand in his face, I'm not feeling real warm and fuzzy...

Don't take this the wrong way... I'm not hating by any means... I just wouldn't define him as clutch. Clutch is something intangible, not to be defined with stats and numbers... and Korver just isn't a clutch, closer type player in my eyes.

And yeah... I forgot to even point out that double overtime buzzer beater he put up against the Celtics back in like 05 or 06 (can't really remember)...

Now THAT was clutch... but he's just not that guy night in night out for me. Just a personal opinion.

What do you think about the trade for David Booth?
Why is Vancouver the most hated team in hockey? They're so awesome.... I don't get it
