My old swiss turtle back bag is just about dead. I'm really into this Ethnotek, but I'm up in the air with which one is for me. It would primarily be my uni bag, so not too big I guess? Wayu or raja style? And what colours, I don't want be white rasta boy level but saying that I do still enjoy alt fashion.

I rock a Fjallraven Kanken at college. It's a little small but it's enough for a moderate-sized laptop depending on the model. (I manage to cram a 15 inch lenovo in there) I had to size down a bit on notebooks but I'm not having any problems holding all my stuff.

I have a Kelty external frame backpacking backpack, to hold 50 lbs of camping gear. It's awesome. But it's huge, and isn't practical for everyday use. Been looking for the perfect casual backpack for years. The closest I've found is Boreas packs. http://www.boreasgear.com/collections/packs
Though these are cool / similar to what I'd ideally want:
http://packs.point65.com/produkt/14/boblbee-gto-25l.html
http://ogio.com/backpacks/no-drag-mach-3
https://solid-gray.com/store/

Recently I've been eying these cosmetic packs:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/new-Pokemon-Poke-Ball-Pokeball-3D-backpack-official-licensed-Nintendo-NWT-/201275607429

Also considering getting some kind of convertible backpack/messenger bag/briefcase:

A pair of old fashion Timberlands (like all of them really) for when it isn't ridiculous outside. I have to admit the sole is comfy, the waxed leather has kept the wet out and they look better the more knackered they get. Inherited them, but would not have bought them retail as they are only fair in terms of quality.

I have a pair of Sorels for when it does get ridiculous outside, as the city does not clean the sidewalks where I live and it isn't unusually to have ungodly amounts of snow/slush/salt covering them. Best buy ever, who cares if they are as big as moon boots, my feet are warm and dry.

Chuck Taylor's are the absolute worst for winter-walking. They have zero insulation and the moment you walk in snow thicker than a half-inch, your feet will get soaked. What you really want is a nice pair of Red Wings with a Gortex™ lining.

the Maoist ones have the pockets and have a collar, mandarin collared jackets are called Zongshan zhuang (after their first president). He nicked the style for the Japs who in turn stole them from the Royal Navy. There, moe than anyone needs to know about these things.

PS: if you're white and not in China you'll look ridiculous in these. If you happen to be in China and are rocking one you'll look absurd. No one but villagers wear them. Oh and Japanese schoolchildren (standard uniform there). Either way, not fashion forward.

Hey guys what hair product do you use? I'm a clayguy myself (medium lengh brown hair, somewhat thick but needs texture added or it looks flat) and have been digging on Indie's #wreckit putty/clay with good results (decent hold, long lasting pliability and smells nice) but I'm not married to it. What brands do you guys use? Any opinions on Hans de Fuko stuff? I've been considering trying that next go around.

Basil Dunkinforth - Wed, 28 Jan 2015 05:47:55 EST ID:e+kToCoq No.59786 Ignore Report Quick Reply

I think it depends on your hair type. I've used it for maintenance for awhile (over night and wash it out in the morning, your hair will feel godly), but I also haven't cut my hair in like 7 months. My hair's ridiculously thick and currently chin length and most styling products make it feel even thicker (not ideal for me, I can barely get a comb through it after a shower), but a bit of coconut oil allows me to run my hands through it effortlessly, doesn't weigh it down and gives it a subtle/natural shine.
>>
Basil Dunkinforth - Wed, 28 Jan 2015 05:52:21 EST ID:e+kToCoq No.59787 Ignore Report Quick Reply
>>59786
Also to elaborate a bit more, I work in a kitchen so I'm always wearing a bandana or hat so I don't really give a shit how my hair looks most days. I'll usually put a hat on when my hair's still wet (but has some coconut oil in it) and go to work, but when I take that shit off after my shift, my hair looks fantastic. Using it as your styling product though, I really think it depends on your hair type. It works great for my lifestyle and hair.

NB

Right im pretty over weight (though im sorting this out) and most places don't have my sizes im tall also 6'3, very long legs, large waist. Good online UK places for large sizes, i don't fall into a "group" with my style. So post anything for now, im 20. Obviously not female at 6'3.

Some man who bought a army back-pack and a fire resistant t shirt highly recommended it on amazon. He also insists that he is a big boy.
