A pair of old fashion Timberlands (like all of them really) for when it isn't ridiculous outside. I have to admit the sole is comfy, the waxed leather has kept the wet out and they look better the more knackered they get. Inherited them, but would not have bought them retail as they are only fair in terms of quality.

I have a pair of Sorels for when it does get ridiculous outside, as the city does not clean the sidewalks where I live and it isn't unusually to have ungodly amounts of snow/slush/salt covering them. Best buy ever, who cares if they are as big as moon boots, my feet are warm and dry.

Chuck Taylor's are the absolute worst for winter-walking. They have zero insulation and the moment you walk in snow thicker than a half-inch, your feet will get soaked. What you really want is a nice pair of Red Wings with a Gortex™ lining.

the Maoist ones have the pockets and have a collar, mandarin collared jackets are called Zongshan zhuang (after their first president). He nicked the style for the Japs who in turn stole them from the Royal Navy. There, moe than anyone needs to know about these things.

PS: if you're white and not in China you'll look ridiculous in these. If you happen to be in China and are rocking one you'll look absurd. No one but villagers wear them. Oh and Japanese schoolchildren (standard uniform there). Either way, not fashion forward.

Hey guys what hair product do you use? I'm a clayguy myself (medium lengh brown hair, somewhat thick but needs texture added or it looks flat) and have been digging on Indie's #wreckit putty/clay with good results (decent hold, long lasting pliability and smells nice) but I'm not married to it. What brands do you guys use? Any opinions on Hans de Fuko stuff? I've been considering trying that next go around.

I meant more for what you use for styling than hair maintenance, although I've heard good things about coconut oil, care to elaborate?
Basil Dunkinforth - Wed, 28 Jan 2015 05:47:55 EST ID:e+kToCoq No.59786 Ignore Report Quick Reply
I think it depends on your hair type. I've used it for maintenance for awhile (over night and wash it out in the morning, your hair will feel godly), but I also haven't cut my hair in like 7 months. My hair's ridiculously thick and currently chin length and most styling products make it feel even thicker (not ideal for me, I can barely get a comb through it after a shower), but a bit of coconut oil allows me to run my hands through it effortlessly, doesn't weigh it down and gives it a subtle/natural shine.
Basil Dunkinforth - Wed, 28 Jan 2015 05:52:21 EST ID:e+kToCoq No.59787 Ignore Report Quick Reply
Also to elaborate a bit more, I work in a kitchen so I'm always wearing a bandana or hat so I don't really give a shit how my hair looks most days. I'll usually put a hat on when my hair's still wet (but has some coconut oil in it) and go to work, but when I take that shit off after my shift, my hair looks fantastic. Using it as your styling product though, I really think it depends on your hair type. It works great for my lifestyle and hair.

Right im pretty over weight (though im sorting this out) and most places don't have my sizes im tall also 6'3, very long legs, large waist. Good online UK places for large sizes, i don't fall into a "group" with my style. So post anything for now, im 20. Obviously not female at 6'3.

nothing wrong with pink, if I had a darker complexion I'd rock it out daily.

Hay, /st/

I never post here, but I'm looking for some help. Long story short, I've had my hair long for the past two years, and I'm looking for a change. But I have no idea what I should get. I want some sort of cut that can work with my facial structure, but still isn't terribly short. Out of the ordinary suggestions are also welcome.

Input is greatly appreciate. Please help hahah I'm so uncertain right now.

OP ignore the stupid retarded logic with "facial structure" telling you what you can and can't have on your head.

I'm gonna tell you now that every guy with long hair thinks short hair looks bad on him because he's just not used to it. I recently made the switch from longer hair sort of like yours to something like the andrew garfield-look. 110% of the ladies like it better, the guys look at me with less condescending look, people think I look a little older/more professional/mature etc. It's a win in all these respects, well, at least, in terms of the "what people think of me" field.
I didn't get the change for that reason, I just felt like it was sort of a change personally.
I also wanted something that I could manage more; medium-length hair takes more work than any other type of hair to maintain unless you're a curlybro and have to straighten your hair everyday.
(I was like that when I was younger, I don't miss those days, I started becoming naturally straighter hair-wise one day as I grew up though)
So yeah, of course it does come down to what you want at the end of the day. But from the general population's point of view, the hair that looks "clean" (not hygiene-wise but looking sharp and well groomed and like you really did purposely make it look good) is what people view most positively. And it's definitely the most fun hair to have in terms of being able to fuck around with it.

You don't know how many people talk shit about your hair or make jokes about it until you get it cut and people can admit what they REALLY thought about it, trust me on that one.

The hardest part of transitioning is always getting over the uncomfortable feeling of losing all the hair and feeling like a bit of your identity is gone but yeah like ^ said 99.5% of men look better once their hair goes short/medium. It's just very comfortable keeping that long hair.

TL;DR I recommend all men go out and mess with the capabilities of their short-medium hair because it has infinite potential for looking trill as fuck. I can immediately name a handful of guys off the top of my head who cut their long hair and they all never went back.

Also, the short-sides long-top has really hit maximum overdrive this year. My previous pic is similar to this but not to this extent.
It's literally the pussy-magnet here and I considered getting it but it's maximum lemming-tier. I'm really just waiting out the storm of people telling me to get it too.

I'd recommend it only for men who want to shamelessly attract as much general pussy as possible and live the life of a true loser fuckboy.

OP, it's a tough decision, but you won't regret it. Long hair will make you look more professional and you can do more with it.

No matter what you do, you have a good jaw line, you shouldn't put your hair in your face. Push it back if you keep it long.
