I've been off and on into it since high school, sometimes getting fed up with explaining how I'm not racist and sometimes just losing interest. But I always come back because, fuck, it looks good.

Rocking a scally cap, Fred Perry polo, jeans and Docs at the moment. Apparently my Adidas Sambas are coming in today. I find if you don't wear suspenders you usually don't get fucked with. But, hey, half the point is being an outcast.
So, anybody else here into it? Got any good new clothing lines? It's not 1969 forever.

I suppose you've got a point, but around where I live, the hipster dudes tend to have a meticulously-product-held haircut along the lines of a short-on-the-sides-long-on-top-combed-to-one-side-like-a-handsome-man-in-the-1940s hairdo. Or at least the middle-class Gen Y dude's idea of a 1940s haircut.

Those guys may be wearing suspenders, beanies, pants cuffed above the ankle, and "work boots" (ie, Iron Rangers or Katahdins), but they are way too vain to shave their heads.

online fashion retailers don't really operate on corny genres like shitty online fashion communities do
giving a name to the general style probably won't help you but what you can do is reverse image search it and find out who designed it then buy their

you'd probably like AllSaints though
it's also very faggy and pre-distressed

Fuck me.
>Left-hand side
The sweater is nice, so are the shorts but combined it looks completely retarded.
The sandals are god-awful.
If I was to do this, i'd wear the sweater with a low vest so it's not all chest, and some slim denim with a boot of sorts.
>Right hand side.
Again all this shit combined looks god-awful. The scarf is actually the nicest thing that dude is wearing, perhaps that's why it's draped over him.
Only assholes wear their boots as he's wearing them, if he fixed that messy boot-wear he'd be fine.
The mini blazer is like a hit and miss fashion that comes and goes, it'd be better if this was part of a smart-casual look with a pattern shirt rather than this try-hard look.
If I was to wear this, i'd wear something heavier as a jacket and fix the scarf so it's not so drape-y, and fix the boots so it's not so "Well i just put these on tee hee" kinda stupid look.

Anyone here have stretched ears? What size are you at, and when do you plan on stopping? Do you wear plugs or tunnels? I have my left ear at 7/8ths and I plan on stopping at an inch. Also wear just a regular black tunnel, but was thinking about getting some turquoise marble plugs but they're expensive as fucking hell.

People who stretch their ears should understand that they do not always close back to their original state. Pic related is my ear. I think I gauged to size 2 or 0, but they have been left empty like this for about 4 years. I remember using tapers and stretching pretty quickly. Now, the holes will not close. I like them like this, though. I can stick things through them for fun like feathers or leaves or whatever, and they are easy to disguise with big regular earrings for formal occasions. If I had to put something through the holes, I would choose tunnels over plugs, but that really depends on my personal opinion based on the occasion.

>>58700
Don't let the hole bleed because that is a bad sign of damage. Stretch slowly. Aloe vera or other lubes help when you put it on the hole before stretching the ear. Tapers are more helpful than jumping between sizes.

Ya the argument was if they were green or gray. I said gray and aside from
>>59228 I feel vindicated.

On a side note, has anyone ever wondered if we all perceive colour differently? Like maybe what I see as green, you see as red etc. Light is just wavelengths of radiation interpreted by our eyes and brain... so we can all look at an object and agree that the particular wavelength being reflected by that object corresponds to a certain colour but how would we ever know if we're actually seeing the same thing?

This is more of a formality question more than anything. I am going to a wedding and my significant other is part of the wedding. She is wearing a yellow dress much like the pocket square I bought and put behind my tie (that I plan on wearing with my white shirt).

I want to have something relative to her dress, but don't want to overstep my boundaries as a guest of their ceremony. Do you think this combo would be respectful and do they go together as well as I think they do?

As long as you have a nice looking suit, shoes, and you did your hair nice, you will be okay. Most people will be looking at the girl around your arm and not you. Pick out a nice yellow flower and put it in your breast pocket if you want to add something that matches. Then give her the flower as you two dance together. A nice romantic gesture.

iirc just about every eyewear manufacturer is owned by Luxottica with the exception of a handful that I've probably never heard of so it really doesn't matter who you buy from as long as you like the way they look.

anyway, Wikipedia just told me 60 Minutes did a special on this exact subject so I'm going to link you to the video while I watch it
