So does anyone have suggestions on where to find clothing (tops specifically) for someone who is just slightly taller than average (5' 10.5") and significantly thinner than average (135lbs)?

Now that spring is here and summer is right around the corner I can no longer rely on a sweater or jacket to mask my ill fitting clothes.

That seems like some pretty conscious insecurity to me. Once your out of school you realise height literally doesn't matter until you need to reach something high up, then you ask someone to grab it if you can't reach.

>CDC says 5 feet 9.2 inches is average height for US males
You've been taller than average height for longer than you've thought, OP.

Also, I get where you're coming from. I'd rather be really tall or really short. Somewhere around average is boring. You still see the backs of peoples' heads in a crowd, but you're not short enough that someone feels bad and sticks you on their shoulders. But "just" above average is better than "just" below average, imho.

Since moving to a new country all I've found is ridiculously wide Tees as well (like for real, the "medium" is about 3 feet wide but a standard length).

To sew them just get a matching thread (not that necessary, you won't see the stitching) turn the Tee inside out, wear it, pinch the underside of the T's sleeves (like your armpit) to fit, not too tight but snugly, pin it. Now take it off (be careful of the pins) and draw a line in washable pen following the pins, now sew along that line. Sew it loosely first and try it on to double check, then go over it to reinforce the thread.

I mostly wear jeans even in the summer so I've totally ignored the shorts in my wardrobe. Currently I have only 1 pair and they're fucking cargo shorts. I'm not sure if I'm the kind of guy for Chubbies either, so where do I turn for some good-looking shorts now that summer is coming up?

Jorts are disgusting, you can rock them if they've got that "home made" look (or are home made) and sit above the knee. If they're 3/4 length burn them now. Try to stick to cotton/light cord for shorts, in summer your balls will thank you.

theme-white or relatively light rooms by Alice Bullerfield - Sat, 12 Apr 2014 18:51:42 EST ID:U6xBMxcr No.58618 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

so basically im at a point where i had to buy my self a desk for CPU and i couldn't go for anything else then white since i've got those back from i-dunno-what-age white'ish closet/shelves/drawers and the room it self has been walled green which in a wider perspective doesn't look neat at all. just a regular bach-boy's room. you can tell, i've never really cared about my surroundings .
now i've comed to a certain point where i have condsider i should make things decent around here.. and accidentaly i've chosen the colour white for the whole room.

so the whole problem is
tl;dr - how would you decorate/design a room to be white. ideas for the walls, the composition of colour in white room (as if what colours would fit in mostly white furnitured and walled rooms for example a bed) could you play the 'everything-definetly-white' out, etc.

pic semi-related, the one and literally only picture made out of this room a time while back, for the purpose of the green coloured wall

Light blue/off white walls. White furniture, blue (or matching whatever colour you go on walls) covers/accessories (fabric on chairs etc). Just get rid of that green man thats like 60s house wife shit.

>accidentaly i've chosen the colour white for the whole room.
how does this even happen?
white's not a bad color for a room, but what is the factor preventing you from changing your mind?

anyway just Google "white interior design"
absorbing a ton of images is the best way to understand these things

I could give you a list of palettes I'd like to see in a room but there's a significant chance that the 'dark gray' I write will be different from the 'dark gray' you read.

the thing about google is that there are so many random ideas which may kinda just make me more confused of 'what wud be right'. that's why i thought i'd come and ask direct thoughts. dark grey in general sounds good tbh. i somewhat thought to myself to make the whole thing look black n white style, but wouldn't that end up to edgy ?

dark brown has been on my mind also due to light brownish floor which i wasn't going to change since im not willing to make the whole redecoration so trastic and cash-worthy

Buzzcut or grow my hair out? by Martin Honeyway - Tue, 17 Dec 2013 19:40:46 EST ID:F9Y5BS5c No.57735 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

I got a buzzcut a while back, wanted to see what it'd look like. And it actually looked pretty good, I liked it. I've been growing it out for a while now though, occasionally getting the sides trimmed by a little.

I have dark blonde, very straight hair. I used to have a hitler youth/undercut, but it's going to take ages before the hair on top is that long again. Definitely longer than 6 months at least. In the meantime, i've found the buzzcut really damn practical. No costs, no adjusting my hair, no hair product... Plus I like the way it seems to make me look more masculine in general.

What shall I do? Stick to the buzzcut or continue growing it out for a few months, having to endure crewcut-ish undefinable looks? It's really hard to decide. I definitely don't like this halfway shit where I'm at right now at least.

Pic related, pretty much exactly what I looked like.

Im a male looking to help a new tattoo artist practice. I figure, chances are I will design the tattoo myself. It would be about the same and simplicity as pic related. I was thinking behind my right arm but somebody suggested a tattoo so small would look better elsewhere. Where is this "elsewhere"

It's probably got to be in somewhat a subtle place as I work in a fairly upscale office

tl:dr good spot for small, simple black tattoo insignia?

depends how many peple you want to see your sigil
lower arm, hand, finger = very visible
if your 'new tattoo artist' might fuck up tho
legs, feet, knees = not so visible (to others)
there's also your head, neck and torso
shoulder tattoos = fairly subtle and concealable
I have tattoos in all of these locations
placement is important, just pay attention to the shape of your skin.
