Growing my hair out. Hit a midstage where it looks nice in the front/top but the back is a total curly mess. I need something lightweight I can wear as the weather warms up. Nothing overbearing or thick. Any ideas?

You look insecure because you're obviously not comfortable with your hair, or you want to hide that it's dirty. That, or you're a tryhard. It's akin to wearing shades indoors.

bandanna. if you just want your hair out of your face and don't want a swamp on the back of your head just get a big old bandanna and use it as a headband. i keep a gray one around just for this, when it's hot and humid sometimes even a ballcap is too much.

i had a beanie on constantly over the winter though, so much that everyone was surprised how long my hair was when it got warmer and i started wearing just a ballcap to keep my hair off my face.

I've got super long hair and I am just about ready to chop it off. Basically, I don't think general population takes a man srsly with long hair. I dress fairly well but there's no getting around the fact that my hair makes people think I'm stuck in a early 90s Pantera concert.
So my question is, coming from a full pallet of long hair what is the best thing to do with it for maximum taken srsly in a business world effect? I'm thinking about going with pompadour since it's so ubiquitous these days and I want to try to get with the times... Any ideas? Pic for reference..

Are you sure it's the long hair that people aren't taking you seriously? Not the fact that it looks like you barely take care of it and you're wearing a gold chain?

buy the real stuff tbh

head over to ebay, lurk for bargains - they don't exist as much for a brand like bape but there are at least "good deals" to be had like $100-150 for a hoodie or jumper. Might be expensive but tbh if you like the brands, get the real thing because at the end of the day you get to wear the item with pride rather than thinking what if someone notices all night

Instead of buying cheap knockoffs that were probably made by children and sad middle aged women in non unionized shitholes, just think carefully about the pieces you want, keep an eye out for sales, be patient, and make the most ethical choices you can.

Especially for street wear, sales are key. I've copped zanerobe, Raised By Wolves, Coal, Adidas, Norse Projects, Reigning Champ..... All for 30-60% off msrp, usually direct but sometimes online, sometimes boutiques in my city

tbh fam tbh fam tbh fam tbh fam

So what do you guys think about this stuff?

Many bash it because they were expecting something ground breaking and ultra creative from the house of Dior and they got this semi-generic linear juice without any significant depth or unique character.
But you know what? Fuck them. People around you will love it. I've gotten a dozen of compliments on this and I get complimented on fragrances very, very rarely. Although I don't like it all that much, up close it smells quite synthetic, it's one of those smells that smell better from a distance, others will enjoy it more than the wearer. What do you guys think about it?

Some brown pants, cream shirt, and a cream scarf. For shoes, just some brown leather dress shoes. As for the hat im getting an asslynching about, its brown and wide. Was not cheap i hear(it was a gift from grandpa, like the actual coat). I dont dress nicely enough to know what kind or brand or something. I shave every day. But like i said i never actually wear this shit like on a normal day, its just that i dont usually look good in a suit so i have to put a joke in it. I dont have any pictures on hand of me in it.

Also apparently this peacoat doesn't fit me, but I kinda like it and paid a lot for it considering I'm poor. What can I do with it, or wear with it to make it look okay?

Also is cuffing gay now?

Yeah agreed with the above.

Cuffing is fine so long as the jeans are of nice fit, but yours are straight legged rather than skinny or slim, which results in the cuffing looking a bit shit in fairness.
I don't know the price of your jeans, if they are expensive, just got to a tailors and get them fit better, if not, just get better jeans yo. By fit, i mean a bit tighter below the knee

Brown boots look fine with black pants.

Your jacket is actually nice but don't pop that collar. Get a good throw-around scarf or loose neckwarmer. Pic related.

Hiring manager here, can confirm. OP's outfit is probably okay for a warehouse job though. I work in a 9 to 5 sort of office so we definitely expect at a minimum long sleeve dress shirt/nice slacks/preferably a tie for an interview. Ladies typically do well in any sort of nice top+slacks or skirt. Dresses are fine too.

PS: OP, your shoes are ugly. Get some proper dress shoes, shit.

for real OP you need to look up "Power Dress", its a thing in the military and civilian workforce. long sleeve dress shirt, tie, slacks, belt (which matches your dress shoes), suit jacket if its an upper level job

only optionals are tie clip/pin, cuff links

also having your facial hair NEATLY groomed (clean shaven is ideal) helps tremendously

recently started getting interested in watches/horology. ideally i'd like a nice mechanical watch but the worthwhile ones seem to all be outside of my price range. i recently picked up a vintage benrus us army watch from 1965 off ebay, which is mechanical, but is not really in good enough shape for daily wear. my go to watch currently is a quartz tissot quickster, as pictured except instead of a metal strap i opted for a black synthetic nato strap. i'd like to expand my collection, but for now i'm satisfied with what i've got.

what kinda watches are you guys rockin? baller rolexes or even just timexes i wanna know

90% of mens watches are 1lb bricks to size of a toaster.

Ugh. Fuck that shit. Apparently I'm a fag because I wear "dainty" watches.

I remember this dude in college had some 80 dollar macy's special that he would have to take off to be able to type.

I currently have a couple Citizens, 3-4 Casio's and the Navyman or whatever they call it. I think Hanowa makes them or SMW.

I'd like a Casio Master of G but I can't find any. I'm loving dat Rangeman. I'm thinking they are gimmicky shit though.

>Or even just timexes

Timex wearer here. Pic looks exactly like mine.
It's super low maintenance (every few months I give it a clean with some chrome cleaner), it's water resistant, lights up when pressed and is super hardy; My aunt has the same watch (with a purple strap) for the last 30 years.
Shit, it cost me 35 euros, it looks nice (especially when it's shined) so I'm a happy consumer and all that.

I bought myself a Stuhrling for Christmas. I had never heard of them before but they had fantastic reviews for a very reasonable price. Pic related is the one I bought, the Ascot II. Not bulky, not ostentatious, quite sleek and simple.
