/stim/ activity has been low lately. Is everyone asleep or crashed from abusing their scrips and stashes?

For the next two months I'm going to be isolated in the mountains and only have my phone and a laptop to communicate with the outside world. Don't know what I should do. Saw a guy make a house out of clay and other materials. I think I will try that.

Yes primitive technology is awesome.

You could also read. That is literally the most patrician lifestyle you can life -- hunt and gather your own food, and use your spare time to build and read.

/stim/, ironically, is a low energy board. Activity has always been low even when I first started browsing 5 years ago. Have fun on your outing, sounds like a great time.

I'd think there'd be at least a few people absent mindedly churning out giant walls of text. I think the userbase is just small

I've been browsing 420chan for several years as well and I can vouch for this always having been a very low-activity board.

The running joke was that people on stims are too busy trying to be productive to be posting on an imageboard

Find out for yourself which wild plants are worth eating. It's surprisingly easy to avoid toxic plants if you're observant and have Internet access. But only a select few have both nutritional value and good flavor.

I don't think it's a joke. I'd much rather use /stim/ energy to chat with friends or research, but sometimes it's fun to make long and wordy posts on /stim/.

Fuck that's a good goddamn point. Stimulants just aren't very condusive to absentmindedly dicking around on a chan.

That is a great lifestyle. You'll get back in touch with nature and just do things you need to be doing. Patrician as hell. The whole cut down and live somewhat smaller like that is a really attractive idea.

Since I've been away - I have constructed a structurally safe nature home which is for the most part resistant to weather and water. The scaffolding stands about six feet tall with a width of ten feet roughly and is structured in a way that looks similar to a rhombus. On the inner wall, I've taken a bunch of decently sized sticks, then fastened them together using some thin, long, and fibrous leaves that are seemingly abundant. This linked fence is then used as a platform for mounting soft bark onto them. This process is repeated all the way around and then they are covered with wide freshly fallen leaves as a deterrent to protect the bark from water. Unfortunately this step isn't a permanent fix and I'm waiting for tomorrow to go collect more sap. I'd like the entire outer area to be covered in hardened sap and lots of it as I imagine that to be a better block against weathering. But it's a bitch and it won't happen any time soon.

I also made a cone to match the top of the rhombus so that if anything fell on the top of my little home, it doesn't lose all of its speed when it hits it, and rolls off sort of like reactive armor.

I haven't finished my bed because I suck ass at weaving. I missed that part of home eq in school. Sue me. Im a chemist not a basket weaver.

Other than that... Still got a ways to go.

Avoiding using clay. Avoiding compounds. Just doing a dry run. What is readily there versus what I can make.

Sounds nice. I wish this board were more like this post and less people saying things that make you think they're gonna die in a month

Ive always felt that stims provide distance at the expense of direction.

Indeed, unfortunately though this isn't really the board for such discussion and the people you'll find on here who are appreciative of partaking in such dialogue are few and far between.

The real McCoys of that stuff are out there doing it and not interested in this sort of stuff. Hell - I'm certain more than 95% of them don't even know what the future, let alone 420chan is.
