Ok tea fags are welcome too

I just bought one of these bad boys so I can be stimmed up all day at uni. And it makes me more interested when lectures get shitty.

the effects from drinking coffee are distinct from the effects of taking caffeine alone.

Caffeine is so fucking unpleasant. How did this shit become the most popular drug in the world?

Here's why I think coffee, even decaf, has a distinct effect.

I'll be doing more reading. I take Vyvanse for ADD and caffeine raises my blood pressure. Problem is, I fucking LOVE my coffee. I'll drink so much decaf I may as well have had a small cup of caffeinated.

Used to love caffeine for staying awake for long periods and conserve on other stims though.

What lol? I had an (obviously) non-fatal caffeine OD my freshman year of college by tossing multiple teaspoon/tablespoons (can't remember) full of 100% caffeine powder into a protein shake when I was hung over and not thinking straight. It must have been at the very least something like 5-10+ grams of caffeine, or 25-50 cups of extremely strong coffee's worth of caffeine. Now that shit was absolutely horrible. My stomach was burning so hard I thought it would burn a hole right through, I was fidgeting and sweating like crazy, and just felt like I was in one giant perpetual manic panic attack. I swear I could feel my seizure threshold being further reduced every waking moment, lol.

A few extra scoops and I could have straight up seized and died no joke. Caffeine powder isn't child's play and the makers of that bottle were irresponsible for not providing some kind of measuring scoop that allows for convenient/accurate dosing of reasonable amounts.

>General question for the thread

Is there any additional benefit, from a psychoactive perspective, to consume coffee over the equivalent in pure caffeine powder? I still have the 100g bottle from like 10 years ago and no one in my house is a coffee drinker. Now that I've got a proper mg scale, I don't see why I can't fill some 00 caps with 100mg caffeine each for the hangover mornings when there's no d-amph available.

Your ass should own a milligram scale if you're dealing with powders. Even caffeine!

Because it appears innocent but creates the most powerful dependency in the known world, governments are controlled by the xanthine. They pump it into schoolchildren and our elderly.

It should be pointed out that caffeine itself has weak MAOI properties and this is likely acting synergistic with the beta-carbolines also present within coffee.

I can relate. As younger person, once after staying up two nights and feeling too tired, took a handful of caffeine pills at once (about 20 or so). Saw mild closed eye visuals (mostly just bright colors), felt horrible, heart raced a lot, obiviously didn't die. Slept a whole day after finally calming down in bed. Definitely not recommended because of the heart thing. Love coffee in normal amounts though, because it works pretty well for me.

Imagine if you could buy meth e-liquid called CloudKing. I had a dream there was this red colored meth in candy wrappers you could buy and it had a trippy advertisement. Off topic so NB heh.
