Is i2p the next frontier? Does it have better security? Will Tor be the punchline of a sick illegal surveillance joke years from now? Find out in 10 years, tune in.

And god knows bitcoin wont last much longer. It's like an alpha, but so widespread that no one can upgrade to the next version!

The only thing that I2P definitely has going for it is that it's a closed system so no one is going to shoot themselves in the foot by doing dumb things in the clear. It doesn't get the same kind of support though so any other advantages that get touted are anyone's guess.

I've checked it out and it seemed a bit empty. I can certainly see the potential, its just people don't use it widely yet. Maybe someday. Seems like more people talk about wanting something like zeronet or freenet or any of these alternative networks than the amount of people willing to use them.

The tor has had issues, the biggest was a firefox issue. Nothing to do with tor
it'sself. Soo keep it updated. disable javascript within firefox, a few other things can help. Don't browse like sites an adversary know when and what time you may visit these sites. Non-https sites.

Well it is what it is. Frefox and tor is open source, it's updated when vulnerabilities are discovered. I would call firefox the least of concerns in the scheme of security concerns. These are addressed in a manner with global suppport.
