I saw how shitty this board looked so I thought might as well make a thread

Second Punic war. Hannibal steamrolled across Italy, possibly with elephants, could take Rome, went home instead. What if the Phoenicians actually took over Rome from the inside? As long as they controlled the money what do they care how the empire is called, they would have been cool with it being called the empire of turd sandwhich. Venice, Venetians, Phoenicians, that's where they went.

The dark ages never happened. It was just the Phoenician Northern Italy black nobility Semites that controlled the Vatican doing historical revisionism burning everyone who remembered "hateful wrongthink" of what really happened. Caesar was probably the last significant Roman politician against them. The so called antiquity was really the middle ages. The crusades were actually to avenge Jesus' death and happened right after. While they were burning "witches" in Europe, they simultaneously invented Islam in the middle east to burn everything "heretical" there, and what do you do next after erasing all heretical knowledge of the past in the old world? That's right you go sail around the world and burn everything other cultures knew about the past, the Spanish conquest of South America. The Phoenicians of course already knew about the "New World".
To this day they're still busy destroying artifacts, see ISIS, Iraq war. Phoenicians liked to have red and white bands in their sails, much like the American flag and that of the East India Company

The phoenician's control of the Vatican is also why Christmas is really Saturnalia made to look Christian. Romans widely believed Baal/Moloch of the Phoenicians is the equivalent of their Saturn which in Christianity is Satan. Santa is Satan. The Phoenicians still rule us today.

The dark ages did happen, you contradicted yourself because yes, they erased history thats why its dark as in "when the light goes out". The history they erased was of folk religions and cultures and amalgamated them into christianity.

Christmas is an amalgam of folk holidays during the winter solstice, you know when its peak winter? you know when most people are inside? giving people an excuse to make toys for children (so they dont get as bored) and stocking up on food and the spreading of goodwill so when you're all stuck in the same house waiting for the winter to calm the fuck down you dont kill each other.

The view you take of european history is very roman centric, this is likely due to the christian influence on eiropean culture, truth is majority of european culture and folk traditions are germanic and scandanavian. The thing the romans sucked at doing was pulling an isis or imperialist christianity and destroying and amalgamting cultures into their culture. The roman empire and its ideals had been long incorporated into Christianity by the time we reach the middle ages.

You need to view history from a logical and evolutionary perspective.
Christianity as the dominator culture had to operate on a political level to subvert folk religions and traditions, this is why we look upon the dark ages with such sadness not because they were bumbling idiots, but that during that period we as europeans began to lose our folk cultures and traditions.

No, you are wrong, flat out. I have spent years of my life studying ancient history, particularly Rome and the second Punic war is one of my favorite conflicts ever, I even wanted to name my cat Scipio, but got talked out of it. I also have a degree in European History so I and over qualified to tell you that you are 100% wrong and not even close to anything approaching a rational thought.

>>89417
You are very correct, it's good to see someone that doesn't view history as the actions of a few people in back rooms plotting but as the great and continuing convergence of cultures and ideas. History is so fascinatingly complex :)

You're right, if it means anything. Look into the Melqarts of Carthage. Their cousins were the Cohen Gadol that abused their role as priests of the jews until Rome purged them too.

You mean memorizing the drivel of others, or actual investigative research? Did you ever check your sources for their own agendas?
