Is /tobacco/ dead because people don't use tobacco products that much anymore?

How unsafe is tobacco really? Does anyone heard pf someone somking 2-3 cigarettes daily and still have cancer/emphysema/ losing teeth?

Why was small tobacco industry devoured by big corporations?

Pic related what I started smoking nearly thirteen years ago.

you should be fine as far as teeth go but if you smoke 3 cigarettes daily for a long, long time it will still make you sick (maybe), but then again lots of people smoke their entire life and are completely fine.

People continue to use tobacco. I think smoking as a whole is getting to not be as popular. but it's not the reason this board is slow, it has always been this way.

Tobacco can be really unsafe depending on how it is manufactured and consumed. Nicotine is a pesticide, very toxic in it's pure form. The more you smoke the more you put yourself at risk, but there's people that don't smoke that still get lung cancer.

Big tobacco ate small tobacco because government regulations. Tobacco is heavily taxed.
