It's an okay device, especially for beginners. I do get spit-backs frequently and would prefer a higher battery capacity. I just feel like I've outgrown it and I could get better flavor and experience from a better device. Anything under $70.

Only had it for about 2 weeks but i LOVE my tesla steampunk 120 watt. Paid 40 bucks for it, and from what i understand it fits most common tanks, 510 pin i think. Doesnt come with batteries so those plus a charger will be about another 40. Plus juice about 100 altogether. The thing is super well made and fits in the hand super well. Im too lazy to attach a pic but it looks pretty damn cool and metallic vs gay plastic looking smoks and shit. Honestly one of my better purchases

probably a non issue if you use TC or simple coils that never change resistance. I'm using claptons and this feature makes me regret my purchase.

The Sigelei 150W with temp control is a solid device. It's my every day use box and I love it.
Otherwise a Snow Wolf 200W is another very good choice. It too has temperature control mode allowing you to run nickel and titanium coils as well as the standard kanthal or nichrome.

Sig 200W, which outclasses the 150W in every possible way, and is only a few bucks more. If you can't pick, or are lining up un-reg 26650s against regulated, you don't know enough or have enough experience to get unregulated.

I have had the Sigelei 150w tc for a month or two now and love it. If I were to buy a new mod now I might get the newer model (Fuchai 200w tc by sigelei) or maybe something like a Reuleaux RX200w (dna200 if I had the money, although the new chipset is probably pretty nice too and much cheaper). Either way, I can't complain about my Sig 150w tc, great mod, and I haven't pushed it past 65w or even tested the TC yet.

how cheap can I go for a dry herb vaporizer that 100% works. I've bought flower mate and later flower mate mini and neither did anything, complete waste of 200$. doesn't need to be portable. Efficiency is very important.

jesus do i have to buy a 700$ volcano just to confirm whether vaping dry herb is even a real thing? because I'm starting to suspect it's a scam and people are too embarrassed to admit it

THIS

Anyway OP I haven't been keeping up on the vape scene lately, I'm sure there's a ton of new models since I bought my Arizer Solo (original, not 2) like 5 years ago.

That's a testament to how durable & long-lasting it is though. It's pretty fucking ugly, but as you said doesn't need to be portable, this thing pumps out, from what I've heard, desktop-quality vapor, but can be carried around. I like to take walks with it in the neighborhood. I almost want to get a flashy new vape that's smaller or with more controls or whatever but honestly I have 0 need. This thing just keeps rocking.

Hey /vape/

Can anyone recommend a good weed vape? From searching google I've read the Pax 3 is good. It seems a bit pricy at £220 but I don't want to skimp on quality.

Also how is the smell with vaping vs smoking joints? I'll be vaping in my living room and don't want the smell to seep into other rooms or linger for hours. The smell is the #1 reason I want to switch to vaping.

The only thing I would add is that the Pax 3 is arguably, a lot more efficient with weed usage. In a space of 15 minutes, the Flowermate would usually be brown/charcoal. Pax 3 will be a golden brown.

It comes down to how the flowermate has a blanket temperature, while the Pax 3 is more nuanced and cools down/heats up in relation to whether you are taking a draw of it or not.

>>3863
I'm thinking about getting a PAX 3 since they also vape oil but I had a friend who had one of the first versions and she said it was finicky as fuck. Is that still the case since they're still widely being referred to as the Apple of Vapes. I've never had much luck with Apple products so its kind of off putting to hear the comparison so often.

Also do they have a big cloud? Or should I look into something like Sutra which I've also heard good things about?

The Apple of Vapes title is meant to be a co-sign of Pax 3's quality of build and simplicity of use. It's very straightforward, you press the button and 20 seconds later you are ready to get high. Filling and cleaning are both simple too. Cloud wise, it's not the top performer. With a max temperature of 215, any device that can reach that 230'C sweetspot will produce bigger. The flowermate devices produced bigger clouds but also went to charcoal much faster.

Most devices now come with some sort of oil cartridge/adapter.

My PAX3 is definitely my favourite device that I've owned out of the MFLB, Flowermate 5S/PRO. Mostly for design reasons. I've gotten high on the busiest streets my country can offer, in the middle of the day - walking past people, the device I'm using looks like nothing. It just doesn't register. The speed of the heat up time is crazy too, really feels pretty much instant.

Out of mflb (owned 3 total with some addons), a few cheap $20-70 tabletop vapes, a few other vapes i've tried, volcano, pax1, pax2 and pax3, i highly recommend pax 2 or 3. It works very well and its very easy. I would never buy a cheap vape again, other than a $10 ecig hash globe attachment which is as good as anything else. I dont smoke 24/7 anymore though. When I did I almost always just used the hash ecig or pax, rarely volcano, even for groups pax was easier. Now when I blaze it, which is less than once a day, it's from quality additive-free premade hash oil carts. One 1g cart lasts me a month or two. Everything else doesn't work as well and too much bullshit. Ecig globe glass can break so you have to baby it somewhat. Premade carts are very easy unless you're wake and baking on the reg. Just make sure you dont get the cheap carts because they're often mixed with other crap. Quality hash oil lasts that much longer and better buzz, the higher price tag evens out. I sold my volcano, too much trouble when theres the pax. Also highly recommend eating cannabis coconut oil daily, wish i started doing that 10 years ago...much easier to consume large doses too, fuck trying to vape/smoke like .4g of hash/day, boring waste of time.

tldr- pax2 or 3 if you prefer flower, ecig globe oil attachment if youre poorfag or smoke tons, premade ecig hash carts if a gram of quality oil lasts more than a weekend.

Hey /vape/, I need a vessel in which to insert powdered drugs (mainly, 2-FMA and other stims but would like to experiment with whatever I can, maybe DMT at some point etc.) and aerosolize them for the purpose of inhalation and subsequent intoxication.

It seems different compounds have different vaporization points, most typically lower than nicotine and PG/VG, and combustion points within a tight range not far above that. So I'd like something simple with a temperature control, and preferably as much modularity as possible for switching out coils when they burn out (much quicker than if I was using regular nicotine juice), for easily available, similarly cheap ass coils.

I already have some eGo gear from years back when I tried vaping, like a couple Aspire K1 BVC atomizers, but I think a lot of ego stuff doesn't have flexibility in temp control, so idk.

From some research I have read that subohm coils seem to work well for vaping powders. Which seems weird to me, since wouldn't those typically burn hotter, and that's what I'm trying to avoid? But maybe it's due to the increased vapor production over higher ohm setups, which would spread heat more evenly among the vaporizing liquids. If anyone can explain better to help me understand, it'd be appreciated.

Anyway. Are there any half decent ego mods that would fit these needs, or should I go with a box mod? I even thought about a dripping setup but I'm a brainlet and that seems complicated and a bit unnecessary...although I do kind of like the idea of dialing in my dose by being able to drop a controlled amount of liquid at a time, rather than just crushing up a half gram of <drug> at a time and letting it sit in a couple mL's of juice all the time, whereby then I'd assume I'd have a harder time titrating my dose and knowing when to stop. Are there any not-complete-shit, but still relatively disposable starter kits out there under like $40, but preferably as dirt cheap as possible?

Sophie Nashwill - Sat, 24 Feb 2018 23:09:25 EST ID:3JjgCnhv No.3835 Ignore Report Quick Reply
OP back here.

Yeah, that did not work well.

I got the regular Pockex original 0.6 ohm coils and tried to dissolve 200mg of 2-FMA powder in ~1mL of some really old juice I had (like, 4 years old). Loaded it in the tank, let it sit for a while to soak the wick, and tried it out. Horrible burnt taste, really unpleasant throat hit (which might'be been the nic content in that juice), and not much of an effect. It was disgusting enough that I was put off from vaping too large of clouds, or for a sufficient amount of puffs long enough to get a buzz. So pretty much a big FAIL

PROBLEMS:
- Might've put too much powder for that amount of juice. It had trouble dissolving, even after stirring the 1mL juice in its container in a hot water bath on the stove for a while. It looked super cloudy when I dumped it in the tank, and noticed after that that there was still even some chunks of powder floating around and sticking to the sides of the tank glass. Fuckin mehhh
- I think the wattage was sufficient; measured the battery and atomizer with a multimeter, should be about 18 watts, but maybe that was actually too much?
- I also wish I had a different vape. The Pockex has only one "tank" (more like a sleeve that just sits loosely on top of the battery) preventing you from swapping out juices easily. And when you're working with just 1mL at a time of juice that has a whopping 0.2g of a fairly expensive substance in it, it sucks having to waste any if you wanted to pour out the remaining stuff and put some new shit in.
- owever, I couldn't really use my old eGo tanks since I suspect no ego battery has enough power to burn through anything in juice other than nicotine.

If anyone has suggestions I'm all ears. But I'm starting to think this isn't viable, at least definitely with my current setup.

try with fresh zero mg juice, sometimes drugs cause the nicotine to decompose or something similar quickly causing a horrible burnt taste and unpleasant throat hit and blackened appearance,
I only know this to be true with meth when mixed with vape juice containing nicotine but I think its possible for other drugs to do the same thing

No shit? Why in the world? I'd love to know even a guesstimate of an explanation of why chemically that would happen.

But yeah that was old as FUCK juice, with super high nicotine, I couldn't even puff on it for more than a couple seconds to get a solid hit. Also as I recall for a few days after, the back upper corners of my gums were inflamed. I feel like the 2-fma might've been caustic.

I might try again at some point, with some non-5-years-old, nicotine-free juice. Also thinking >>3860 may be right, not sure if any amphetamine analogue will work well in an ejuice solution. Meth, as far as the molecule goes at least, seems absolutely made by God himself to be put through a vape. But I just don't think I'm willing to go down the meth road. Already bad enough with even 2fma, I already used my 2g bag in less than 1.5 months :(

Hello everyone, I’ve been vaping for two years now and I’m used to brown-darkish cotton after a few days. But since I use the Demon Killer Tiger Wire, the cotton gets really black and little black spots remain on the inside of my top cap. I’m assuming ts just burned liquid, but I never had that before with any other wire.

Did you ever experience something like that? What would you suggest?

since PG and VG are both effectively non-volatile, for every mL you vape, a mL of juice is deposited on your walls, ceiling, floor, windows, etc.

if it were water, it would evaporate, but PG and VG don't evaporate. what is a good solution to this problem? how do you prevent a fine layer of residue from accumulating on every surface around where you vape?

I am especially concerned about being near a computer, because the residue will attract dust easily, as well as water because PG and VG are hygroscopic.

An obvious solution is to vape outside, or through a window, but that's sometimes impractical. Could you construct some sort of device, some filter to absorb most of the vapor you breathe out?

Here's mine. It's an Innokin MVP4 with a Rashomon RDA in single-coil mode instead of the iSubVortex tank/atomizer it cam with. I'm really loving the flavor of the Rashomon. What's unique about the MVP4 is that it's an external charger as well as a vape, so it gives my phone some power in case of emergency. Pic related.

Crack cocaine is a fine art.
Especially making the stuff too. Strangely enough I've heard of people here using ammonia to make it even though ammonia is much too strong a base, vaping leftover ammonia has to be terribad for you too.

Tesla Punk 220W in brass, with a Wake RTA in gold.

I have a WYE as well, and the Tesla chip is just insane, i love it and i'm so glad i bought the Punk aswell.

The Wake RTA is fantastic also, i rate it in the top 3 RTA's for taste at least

I'm also vapeing Clouded Visions Juice, Australian made juice that beats every American juice I've tried, the vape scene in Australia is so underrated in regards to juice, we have some of the best flavors conceivable so check them out too.

I'm looking for one that will last, doesn't feel cheap and one that preferably charges through microUSB, the screw ins always seem to give me trouble. Any recommendations?
