Please don't buy Kangertech by Frederick Bindleman - Tue, 25 Oct 2016 08:30:52 EST ID:JCZG8kWe No.3044 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

I am only making a thread to implore you PLEASE NEVER BUY ANY KANGER PRODUCT

I work for the UK's biggest vape retailer (measured by number of shops), and we have more Kangertech products (particularly tanks) returned with faults than EVERY OTHER HARDWARE MANUFACTURER COMBINED

I FUCKING HATE SELLING THESE PIECES OF SHIT JUST TO HAVE TO REFUND/REPLACE THEM THREE WEEKS LATER

In terms of reliability (based on return %s)
Aspire -> Innokin -> Sigelei -> Smoktech -------------------------> Kangertech

That is all.

Op do you have any thoughts on the Kbox Nano? Just picked one up and now you have me worried. I've used their tanks before and they worked very well, but never their mods. Should I return it?

I just got a Toptank mini and its fucked right out the box. If I screw it on tight my mod says its shorted, so I have to fiddle, unscrewing and screwing it till I find a spot where it works. However the resistance jumps all over the shit and TC wont work with it either, gonna have to get a replacement.

I've had a Smok tank for about 3 months and yesterday the thing decides it doesn't want to hold my vape juice in it anymore. I took the whole thing apart, lubed the rings, changed the coil, tightened everything and it's still draining everything out what do I do?

My tfv8 leaked from what looked like the bottom airflow. I thought it was the screw in coil I got but it wasn't, it was the bottom o-ring. Those o-rings are too big so even the tiniest nicks give way to leaking. Try changing all the o-rings, it worked for me.

Have had a Pax 2 for about 4 months now and highly recommend. It is true the mouthpiece can be hard to get a decent rip off, but it does come with a different shaped one you can swap in depending on personal preference. Mine can get a bit hot but have not experienced lip burn (using the alt mouthpiece would probably help with this as it keeps your lip from contacting the metal). The only real con to it is the price, but worth it in my opinion.

I own one, the crafty is better in every way. More efficient, cooler vapor, fatter clouds.

Had to use my pax 2 while my crafty was out for repair for a week (after 170 hours use) and I missed the crafty so much.

Also forgot to mention that after a couple months use, the pax2 gets buildup stuck underneath the cover where the on button is, making the button unpressable without some serious force.

Its got to the point now where if I want to use the pax I have to hold it under a hairdryer for a minute or so to loosen the gunk up and even then it still takes me a good 5 mins to get it on sometimes.

you can take the power button/mouthpiece out dude. Just use a thin knife to pop it out, then clean out the buildup with isopropyl alcohol. The mouthpiece will pop right back in.

I mean the rubber covering the actual power button not the mouthpiece.

That doesn't go back on if you peel it off.

sublingual/related roa by Eliza Blanderchune - Sun, 28 May 2017 17:03:30 EST ID:2WKXqUV3 No.3522 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

Sorry if there's any related thread. Didn't look past first page.

Anyone have experience with sublingual or related routes of administration?

For reasons unspecified, blah blah, wherein i cannot actually vape. I have, many times through numerous years, succumbed to administering vape juice though oral methods. Mainly via 'gumming' similar to chew or under-the-tongue. That is, dripping juice onto cotton or q-tips and holding under the lip or under the tongue.

Be advised that under-the-lip is advised against through my own experience (via heavy stim use and the aforementioned method simply due to gum-degradation). But under-the-tongue seems to be less harmful.

I'm not too concerned about too much nicotone, again through simple self-experience with high concentrations. But have any others partaken in this roa?

10 watts will kill your coil. 4 watts is what I use, works perfectly. The recommended voltage is 3-3.7 volts.

I want to mod my Yocan Evolve so it has a "dart" like on the Puffco Plus. If I use JB Weld ("Extreme Heat" version, rated for 2400° F) to attach a zinc nail to the inside of the coil cap, do I run the risk of inhaling toxic fumes from the jb weld and/or zinc nail?

please dont respond with guesses
>>
Caroline Hollychock - Sun, 28 May 2017 06:41:05 EST ID:0dGhKhs9 No.3520 Ignore Report Quick Reply
Zinc does atomise (before it boils, it will shed tiny particles of zinc oxide because of the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the metal and the oxide) at relatively low temperatuers and JB Weld may hold together at higher temperatures but it will definitely shed VOCs if you heat or even marginally warm it.

a searched through a few pages but couldn't find anything

what would happen if I filled up my vaporiser with whiskey?
I read inhaling vaporised alcohol (bike pump) gets you drunk quick, and also you can vaporise alcohol with a candle / heat

does anyone have any experience with this?

Not vaping per se but I have successfully aerosolized alcohol in a whipped cream dispenser using nitrous oxide cartridges. The come-up is rapid and the experience is reasonably long-lasting (10-20 minutes). Would have liked to try it using a non-psychoactive gas but everything other than nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide in that form factor is prohibitively expensive.

The mighty is more reliable than the crafty, both are great vapes. If you're looking for a session "portable" you can't really go wrong with the mighty

if you're looking for a more on-demand, the grasshopper has been wonderful in my possession, most people complain about the defect rate, but honestly it's not too high, and has been dropping quickly, also their lifetime warranty. other than that the firewood or stickybrick are both good bets for portables. Anything made by S&B will be a good vape, desktop or portable.
