New Box Mod (Help me decide!) by JVenom !b1B269E8M. - Wed, 24 Feb 2016 21:03:25 EST ID:itLog3Ya No.1997 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

So I'm fairly conflicted here /vape/. I plan on ordering a new box mod soon, but I'm really torn between two devices and I honestly can't decide which to get.

If you can, would you guys let me know which of the two you'd get (and if you TRULY prefer a different device and would rather have something else, let me know which of the two you'd choose if you HAD to, and let me know what your real choice would be).

Right now the choices are:

>Kanger KBOX 200W
I'd like it, because it's got TC, 200 watts, etc. and it only utilizes two 18650s, which is more manageable imo considering the batteries have to be married.
Basically KBOX 200W for Convenience.

>Reuleaux RX200
I'd like it, as it also has TC, 200 watts, etc. and from what I've heard is a powerhouse. But it utilizes 3 18650s (which is probably WHY it's a powerhouse) which would be harder to manage. And I've also heard recently that the RX200 has short 510 connection which can be damaged by certain Tanks/RDAs, which is a concern.
Basically RX200 is for power.

So right now I'm leaning toward the KBOX 200W, (which is fine, as I think Kanger makes great products, and I love the design, etc.) but I have this nagging feeling that once I order it, I'll regret it and wish I had went with the RX200. But I have the SAME feeling about the other

Ended up going with the KBOX after I heard about all the possible issues the RX200 was having. It seemed like the logical choice.

Cheap pen vaporizers by Augustus Finkintudge - Wed, 02 Mar 2016 07:03:45 EST ID:hVyco87U No.2054 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

Im thinking of buying some cheap vaporizer. I know that majority of them are shit, but im starting to have health problems with bong and i dont have money for more expensive vaporizers. So i need to buy something that would work badly, but at least would work and function.

At first i wanted to buy snoop-dog g-pen, but i've read a lot of reviews that it never vapes the weed, only flames it, so there is no healthy benefit. But pulsar should have some automatic temperature limit that wouldnt let temperature rise up to combustion level. Anybody tried to use this vape with weed?

Addition: guys at /weed told me how pen vaporizers sucks and gave advice to buy some other titles, but they are not available to me. I dont live in US and dont have credit card. The only shop that is located near me sells these kinds of cheap portable vaporizers:

Skyda 5-L, Taylor Gang MicroG, Launch Box, JAG, Atmos RX Raw, Pinllet, Pocket Vaporite, Vape Case Arizer Solo. Anybody tried to use something among these vapes?

Also, i wanted to ask. Since the main danger of using cheap vaporizer that it would combust the weed instead of vaping it. is the combustion through the cheap vaporizer more safe than smoking through bong? Maybe its better?

Same guy as before who told you this. Just get a better bong. "Health problems with bong" is really vague and makes you sound like either one, a jackass who sucks at hitting bongs correctly or just lazy and ignorant.

You have the names. Did you even attempt to search for reviews on them before coming here and asking?

Hey, I also have this issue.

Im thinking about getting a kanger subvod, but i want a juice that doesnt taste like total utter shit cause every juice ive ever gotten tastes like cough syrup or jizz.

Im thinking milk and honey, and none of that super custard stuff like unicorn milk or anything. I just want a simple vape.

Also, are there any online shops where i can buy marijuana e-cig juice that gets you high and order it to my house? That would be rad.

Rec me some juices and under 50$ mods pls! thank you!

So been running The Clear XJ13 cartridges as my current poison of choice since there's only a faint sour smell that's not really noticeable, some have a brief weed smell I don't want while stealth vaping. Only thing is that over time, it seems to linger on some of my shirts. One shirt I had was very sour smelling, and I couldn't wash it out and had to eventually throw it away.
Does anyone else have any issues of it clinging to clothes over time?

Nah. It went away when I took a long break from vaping. It's a "chemically" sour smell, not sweat and such.
Just not sure if this is common with other vapes, or maybe just this one brand.

I don't understand the confusion lol. 30ml per every 2-3 days is fairly normal. It seems like people who can make juice last longer than that are in the minority from what I've encountered.

>>2028
Honestly man, I don't know of a way that I'm certain would work without sacrificing vapor production... You could use less wattage or use a higher Ω coil, but that will all impact vapor production. I'm just curious, but what Ω is the current coil you're using? You might be able to switch to something higher without adjusting your power, and that could save a BIT of juice, though not tons by far...

Personally I've currently been vaping a 0.5Ω OCC @ 25~W avg., and I go through basically the same amount of juice (if we're talking about 30ml).

My suggestion to you is to DIY. Make your own juice. It's not hard to do, and it's WAY cheaper. It might seem daunting at first, but once you get the hang of it, you won't have to worry about juice anymore as the price will be fractional compared to purchasing juice from B&Ms and even online.

When I cloud chase I use a dripper, when I am out and about I use my TFV4 mini, and that mini drinks juice like fuck. I'm using the rebuildable deck even which is only single coil (I think 7 or 8 wrap 24 gauge?), it comes with a prebuilt clapton and a triple parallel coil. This shit will drink juice. 30ml lasts anywhere from 3 days to 7 depending on how much I vape/sleep.
>>
JVenom !b1B269E8M. - Tue, 01 Mar 2016 10:51:06 EST ID:itLog3Ya No.2047 Ignore Report Quick Reply
>>2044
Exactly. It's not hard to go through 30ml in a couple of days if you're chain vaping through a tank. It's fairly easy to just keep taking hits and end up with an empty tank after a handful of hours.

And if you've got a 4.5ml tank, that means a 30ml bottle only has 6.6~ refills in it.... On good days I only refill my tank a couple of times. On bad ones, maybe 3+ times...

Remember, this IS drug use, so the normal conventions of addiction and tolerance still apply. Give a person who only smoked a half a pack a day a vape with say, 3-6mg in it, and they can probably make a bottle last a week. Give that same amount to a person who smoked 2 packs a day, and it might only last a few days.
People differ, and their intake amounts are going to differ. It's not that difficult to understand why.

Some people like to DIY it, or just have a bunch of nic in VG or a VG/PG blend. VG is sort of sweet and it would be an inexpensive source of backup juice if somebody wanted to. Most people just get it to DIY, you don't need to make insanely complex juice blends to have something you like.

I pretty much not know anything about vaping. However I have used a friends vaporizer with nicotine in it and I felt pretty relaxed. He had a vape pen with liquid in it. I noticed people use boxes to vape out of it which produces a shitload of smoke which is pretty cool. But are probably expensive asf, I don't know what the best or the worst is. The worst I had was just a disposable vaporizer that had mango flavor and burned the fuck out of my throat. Im guessing those are the worst.

I want to buy a vaporizer but don't want to sound like a complete dumbass at the smoke shop. Usually I'm interested in the big ones (pic related) but I don't know a good one

Yo man hit up local vape shops that have good reviews on yelp and stuff, and get all the info you need from them. They should be happy to help you and teach you the basics of vaping. Check out things they have in person and keep note of ones you like. They might try to sell you some expensive stuff you dont need yet but that wont mean its not some quality shit.

BUT

I recommend after looking at stuff you like in person, buy your vape gear online. Prices are wayyy cheaper on EVERYTHING. Mods, attys, tanks, juice, cotton, wire, you name it

Of course to clarify, if you're the gearhead type who somehow loves to tinker with and build shit I understand why you're still using an RDA but now that there are tanks like the TFV4 with any kind of coil you could want available, how can people still say RDAs are better? It baffles me because it's not like the ohms safely go lower than the coils, and the flavor is just as good if not better, so I ask you drippers of /vape/, why? Are you sad to see this aspect of vaping grow old and die? Have you not had a tank in so long you have no clue what's out there? I don't get it.

And the TFV4 pretty much has any dripper beat by vapor production. And nobody is that poor as to not be able to afford a new col head once a week.
Sure there may be some alien-triple-claptonized macro coil that can beat it in some rda that takes two hours to build. But I'd rather work that two hours and dedicate a few minutes of the salery to let a machine in china do it for me.

RDAs at home, tanks for on the go. Ive never gotten a hit that I like off a sub-ohm tank, and I hate the idea of constantly buying new heads for them, so I go the RDTA route. Just picked up an aromamizer a week ago and its a fuckin champ! At home I use my rda because I can fit bigger, more intricate coils on it and get a more satisfying hit

RDAs are for cloud chasers and enthusiasts. Tanks are for casuals and quitting smoking.

I love my UWell Crown, but I don't think I can go back to it after getting my Twisted Messes RDA. Helixed coils, man.
