wut lol

I've got three setups. A regulated single coil, .8ohm at like 40 watts. A stack mech running .5 duals at about 130 watts. And a tube mech with duals at .28 at 60 watts. All good for different things, except the tube, fuck single tubes.

I find though it has more to do with your setup than just pure wattage. Like my single at 40w can outchuck boiyos who get an alien, turn it all the way up and go for it. You gotta have your shit balanced and tuned and comfortable for you my man.

My favorite build so far has been dual 6 wrap twisted .28g kanthal. It starts working well at about 70 watts, and can really handle some powaaa. The extra mass helps it not get too hot.

Seriously though, that shit is sad. My girlfriend will no longer go to the vape shop in my town without me because there's always a horde of neckbeards sitting there eyefucking her.

Not every vapeshop caters to the neckbeard demographic, there are more and sadly more of them that do (Neckbeards don't have many bills so they buy stupid shit like "premium" liquids and $400 mods.)
Look for smaller kiosk style ones. I've never seen a single Neckbeard in my favorite shop, they sell concentrated flavors that can be used in 3/100 dilution, hardly any mods or attys and I know the owner, who told me that neckbeard usually leave the shop without buying something because he laughs at their impractical approach to what is basically just a habit.

Hey guys,
I'm new to mixing my own juice, so I want to ask you for some advices. Now I have bought 200ml of 80VG/20PG 6mg/ml base and a flavor. How many drops should I put in 100ml? On the box there is recommended amount 2~3% of flavor in 50/50 base, but I think it's too little. And how long should I let the base rest? Thanks for any other advices!
>>
Oliver Hebberbury - Mon, 27 Feb 2017 05:49:32 EST ID:3IbTZZFa No.3421 Ignore Report Quick Reply
It all depends on what brand and flavour you're using. Use a site like this one:
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/flavor/4880 (apparently you need to make an account now to see useful shit) and see what people have posted about your specific flavour.
Also don't mix 100ml straight away, maybe try a bit less for your first times in case it turns out like shit. Maybe something like 20-30ml would be better.

It takes at least 2-3 days but ideally you'll let em sit for a week or two (also depends on the flavour). Don't forget to shake them every day while they steep.
Lastly I find it hard to count drops, just get some syringes that are sold by most diy merchants. Get a large 20ml or so for the base, then a few smaller ones like 5-3ml for the flavour.

I don't have any single coil RDAs, however I really enjoy the Goon RTA which has a plastic cap to block the airflow on the coil not in use, and the SJMY kayfun v5 clone though I've had problems with dry hits so I think I've been wicking it improperly.

I got both the narDA and hadaly clone. I recommend the NarDA over the hadaly. Both are great in terms of performance/flavor, but the hadaly has one of the most frustrating build decks and won't be able to handle any thicker wires or mildly complicated builds. The coil ends keep slipping out from the clamps. I don't know why they decided to design it like that. It's ridiculously stupid and impractical. The narDA is basically perfect if you like a slightly restricted draw, straightforward and effective design, and ballin ass flavor.

I've used a few Kangers and the only time I've had leakage problems was when I would build the coil and use too little cotton. Though I remember trying one of their pen-style e-cigs and those coils just wouldn't last very long like you said. Maybe a week at most. That's the main reason why I went into rebuildables too.

Also forgot to mention I've gone through two Eleaf Picos. I ended up giving my white one to a friend and had threading issues with my silver one. The Kanger mods just feel like they are much higher quality. I am extremely happy with my Nano and can't wait for my 160 DRIPBOX tomorrow. I've never had an issue with leaking. Still, the Alien is one of the best on the market right now but I'd get the G-Priv Touch Screen if you have the money to spend. I'll probably get both it and the Alien as my next mods.

Their products were always hit or miss, and 70% of the time their coils are shitty as well, i got a 220w mod he other day and its way better, shit even other mods ive had were way better and that wasnt saying much. I had a subox and it was pretty much just a total year of nonsense, coils wouldn't fire or wouldn't fire properly, menu would malfunction, sometimes wouldn't even fire at all for no reason (fault protection was shit and would go off even when nothing was wrong)

Vaping oils is dangerous because when vaped they form substance that stick to your lungs leading to pneumonia. That being said, everything in moderation right? You could simply add a drop to your favorite juice and shake it, heat it on a warming pad or hot water for a few minutes. Oil is going to easily fall into solution in glycerin they're both very nonpolar.

Scratch that I'm stupid, glycerin and glycol are polar. But I still find them able to mix a small amount of oil (read a couple drops) after heating and shaking the mixture.

Heyo. I've never smoked cigarettes (tried them tho) before, but I wanted to try an e-cig. I bought a blu plus xpress kit from a local gas station. I thought the cartridges were the lowest nicotine strength, but apparently they're 2.4mg/ml, which is quite high.

I've been enjoying the light stimulant effects and just chilling and vaping, makes me more social and makes music better, etc. It's been a few days and I'm almost done with the 2nd cartridge, so that's all that came with it.

I am about to go buy more, however, I looked up that nicotine strength and realized I could be setting myself up for addiction potential.

I don't really care too much if I can't vape, or if I left it at my place, or something. I also like the effects it gives me at the current strength-- I even think I'd be happy halving the effects. However, I dunno if the gas station sells anything weaker.

What do?

you want to tune your nicotine dosage for the style of vaping you do. 24mg/ml is high, I'd expect someone coming off smoking to vape that and maybe mouth-to-lung. If you enjoy the taste and the ritual of smoking or vaping I'd recommend 3mg/ml and a vape that produces a lot of vapor and flavor. I'd also recommend experimenting with 0mg flavors, especially if you use your vaporizer with weed to take the edge off the munchies (which is a real thing that can really SERIOUSLY help you control your smoking and eating habits)

I highly doubt you're still here, but this is to anyone similar.
Don't get into nicotine intentionally. It's incredibly anxiogenic both while dosed and at baseline. And it easily becomes unpleasant later on, when even getting a buzz can prove difficult. You still crave it even if it does nothing but make you feel bad.

I used it to get over opioid PAWS because it numbed my irritation while still leaving me functional. Which it worked well for. But it was really strange craving something I didn't even find pleasant afterwards.

You can vape just fine without it. There's plenty of flavors to use for fun. The feeling of inhaling vapor is still pleasant, though sadly lacking in the sensation of a harsh hit of nicotine.
I really like CBD for effects. Mixing my own from isolate powder/crystals. At least that's physically calming rather than just relieving.

when using e-cigarettes I tend to smoke almost nonstop, since it does not glow out like a normal cigarette. Is there no model which has some kind of timer that starts on the initial puff and then prevents smoking for xx minutes after vaping yy minutes? I think this would be a good way to get people off smoking.

Secondly I have an older iJust, pic related. I want to get me a new one but I would love to use the batteries I have, since they fit into my flashlight too. Does anybody know which model might fit? On the batteries is written 18650 3100mAh, 3,7V MH12210. Id be thankful for any hint.

Do I suck at wicking all of the sudden? by Priscilla Hadgeshaw - Sat, 04 Feb 2017 11:43:36 EST ID:1q3vXDaH No.3277 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

Just a quick readout, the setup I'm running is a Sigelei 200W box with a Velocity RDA. I'm running 55.5W through it at 0.4ohms, and the build is dual parallel coils wrapped 8 times using 28awg Kanthal, and I have them stacked vertically because the RDA is a two-post setup, they're centered right in the middle of the RDA.

This has pretty much been my "old reliable" of sorts since I've sort of plateaued in my interest in rebuilding and whatnot, and I've had very few problems up until a few months ago. When I'm wicking them, I thread the cotton (organic non-bleached balls) through the center of the coils, I think I have these at 2.5mm diameter. I usually juice it up and let it soak for a few minutes and go at it and it's usually been fine. A few months back I noticed that the wick threaded through my top coil had developed a tendency to split apart in the middle, inside the coil, causing a burnt taste and frequent dry hits. This happened less often with the coil mounted on the bottom. When I'm removing my old wicks, they're practically falling right out and the middle of the wick is noticeably gone, the wick ends at the mouth of the coil; as if the cotton in the middle just burnt up and disappeared.

I tried finding some solutions elsewhere but I've had no luck, I'm changing my wicks twice a day at this point when for over a year I've never had this problem on the exact same build. I've tried using more cotton for a tighter hold, I've tried using less cotton to prevent it choking up and not distributing liquid, I've tried letting it soak for a half hour and I've even let it soak overnight. I've run down the wattage as low as 44W and still the same problem arises on a build I used to be able to run up to 120W on.

Do you guys have any idea at all what could be causing this? I've heard people say that it could be caused by some different brands of liquid but I've had it happen with pretty much all my usuals (although I notice it's more frequent with creamier, milky juices).

Any help is appreciated dudes

I had the same problem with long coils, i.e. larger diameter and with many wraps for high voltage setups on series mechanicals and triple-battery regulated. I found my solution in using spaced coils since those coils heat up more evenly and, while clean, don't get too hot in the center before the rest of the coil heats up. An easy way to make spaced coils is to wrap coils in parallel and then unscrew the coils from one another while still on the coiling rod, perhaps requiring a dummy wire on the rod since you're already wrapping parallel coils. Another method would be to wrap coils as usual and then stretch and compress the coils on the rod until evenly spaced but, again, difficult with already-parallel coils.

I'm gonna try this, thanks. I'll probably try and rebuild like I normally would one more time first, though, I have a hunch that maybe I've got a hotspot that I haven't noticed or something.
