never done it myself but apparently you can use bho or wax and if that's too thick (probably is) you can dissolve/mix it into some vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol

I got a "vape" for christmas but not the kind I wanted tho.

Ehh I have some mixed feelings about this but oh well.

A little background first, my gf is a tad impulsive when it comes to gifts or things she likes (nothing expensive...except for once but she's a quick learner).

She saw me watching some Evic videos and figured out that I wanted a vape so as per usual she got her hands into the matter bought one.

I knew she did because I saw some payment for 90 something bucks on my billing n stuff and about 2 hours later I get a 90something bucks deposit...she has to do this because she lost her visa somewhere and uses mine.

I didn't want to check the name of the store because I wanted to at least look surprised...something wasn't right tho...90 bux for a Evic?...maybe she got me some batteries with a matching charger...maybe they ripped her off or in the best case they convinced her to get me some tank Iono.

So, the time came and we started to hand our gifts to each other but she told me my gift wasn't a thing her father would like to see (Guy's a total dick) and she was going to give it to me when we got home.

And I got the thing in the pic...At first I didn't know what vape it was but this thing was no Evic and it certainly wasn't fit for E-fluid either and then it strikes me. the garish camo pattern confused me but it I figured out it was a G pen and you know how those perform and owning a Dabuddah didn't make me feel any better and she has got to know me very well in all these years and felt my slight disappointment at my gift and she wanted me to test it...

I agree, The EQ is great, I've tried so many shitty $100 desktop SSV knockoffs at house parties that can't compare. I've never burned bud in my EQ. Sure the EQ takes time to heat up and glass on glass is prone to breaking, but the vapor quality with bags is top notch. If you're not using a bag-based vape you're missing out. The bud is so evenly cooked.

Sure the Volcano is better but you can buy the EQ for like $130-150 shipped these days; there's no point in spending the cost of a nice sporting gun on a fucking vape. I've noticed on Craigslist that Volcanos tend to proportionally hold their value the least apart from crappy dry herb pens. I got a used EQ on Craigslist for $100 twice during college (kept getting confiscated when idiot friends used it), cleaned them up really good, and the EQ was as good as new every time.

One thing the EQ lacks is a bag with a closing valve so you
have to put your finger over the opening. I've used other vapes at social events (dunno the name) that were shit vapor quality but still had that feature.

Of course the magic flight is nowhere near the best, but I have to say that $83 from a wholesaler site and $60 for two adapters, for house and car, was an interesting combo. the wall adapter performs infinitely better than the batteries. I know there's better ones out there but $140 for a portable+home+car vape isn't a bad setup. If you vape a lot outdoors or go to social events that require stealth, it's a good combo.

You can vape with it, turn the temp all the way up and cook Kief or loose concentrates pretty well (you don't need their concentrate model trust me). Even though it's contact heat you just gotta shake the bud around every few rips. Even with my 2 other vapes and a bong, bubblers, etc. I find myself using the Mflb via wall mount the most, it's just so convenient. Mflb+smoke buddy jr and no one will notice what you're doing. Traditional desktop tend to smell a bit just from the unit itself, not the vapor exhaling.

Fuck combustion is the best place for this info though.

So I started with a kanger subtank nano, great first hit and then starts to burn. I think probably because of high nic content (18mg) returned that shit and got a uwell crown because the reviews were so good. I had problems initially but got it to taste great with some 6mg fruit loops type juice. I wanted to save money so i ordered this juice online that's $20 bucks for 100ml. I just couldn't taste much of anything and trying to bump up the wattage only made it burn. So i traded it with a friend. A week later I'm hitting his playboy vixen with the juice i traded him and it taste fantastic. I don't understand why i'm having such bad luck with vapes. I have a fear that if I buy a playboy vixen i'll somehow magically fuck it up too. It could be that his tank is just better at soaking up max vg and since it's temperature controlled it doesn't burn. Thoughts? Should i get rid of my Uwell Crown tank? I'm definitelly getting a TC mod soon for sure

Depending on how deeply it's been engraved, since it's just normal wood, you could probably sand it off.

Then to replace it you would need a wood engraver. They're basically just really hot soldering irons

How did you do? Did you even go?

Recommendation is go to the shop to get a feel for some stuff, buy online 'cause shop prices are usually on the high end (overhead etc). Nowadays you can get a nice fuckin' setup that will be "future-proof" for a while. Some sort of regulated box mod and a tank will be good. Maybe an Atlantis or something. Replaceable coils so you don't have to fuck around with rebuilding, regulated mod for being able to fine-tune the power to your liking. If you get a regulated box mod that uses 2 batteries, KEEP THEM TOGETHER AT ALL TIMES, DO NOT SEPARATE THEM AND USE ONE IN ANOTHER MOD. I know this as "marrying" the batteries or pairing them.

Honestly I've been loving my IPV D2, single cell though so battery life may not be the best for those using real low resistance builds a lot. It's around $50 online, regulated, 75 watts, and if you ever get into rebuilding or get a coil for temp control, you can use nickel and titanium wire. I just barely got into TC now and am using ti wire and it's fuckin' sick, but pretty advanced stuff so maybe down the road for you.

Hell nowadays you can buy a pretty fuckin' good ecig package like this one

https://www.worldofvape.com/joyetech-evic-vtc-mini-75w-kit/

I forget what the good batteries are right now, I know some LG 18650 is really popular and for good reason. I'm using older batteries that still work fine but can't recommend them as they're out of production now.

DOW Chemical Company states that caffeine solubility in PG is 0.77%

That's right, not even 1%.

http://dowac.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7740/~/propylene-glycol-usp%2Fep---pharmaceutical-ingredient-solubility-data

not worth it from a scientific POV. have read a lot of stuff on caffeine ejuice on forums and the consensus seems to be not worth it at all.

I'm sure if you just made a proper coil (like a flattened coil so it's a rectangle shape) and threw some caffeine in with no wicking in you could vape it off the coil and get effects, prolly way better than the juice route.

BTW with juice we measure nic content by ml. so 6mg juice is 6mg nic per ml of juice. I can't be fucked to math it out but you'd need to drip a fuckton of juice if it really is 0.77% solubility. May as well just take the caffeine pill with your drink and be done with it.

It's really hard for me to get into vaping because whenever I take a hit it fucking burns the back of my throat, feels really scratchy and shit. When I take a vape break the first 5-10 hits give me this really scratchy throat hit and a lot of coughing, and then after that it's a smooth experience. People say you get used to it eventually and it becomes always smooth but it's hard to get used to it when the scratchy throat hit is so irritating that I vape as little as I can. Anyone else get this? Using an eVic-VT w/ ego one tank and 80/20 VG/PG, 3/6 mg juices.

Need to open up the air holes on your mod, and maybe hold the mouthpiece at the corner, practically not in your mouth.

If I have a hot piece from a friend, and don't want to adjust it to my preference, I just ghost vape that thing without even touching it to my mouth. SHit gets cooler the further you are from the source.

Also, a good mod should have some further adjustments, like wattage/temp/voltage that you can fiddle with. I don't get into all that though, like my shit simple.

I was getting kinda tired of cigarettes and didn't like the power they had over me. My friend let me try his vape and I immediately liked it. There was never a struggle for me to stop smoking. Vaping just made it obsolete. I could do it indoors without any lingering smell, I got to exhale clouds, and it tasted great. I threw out a full pack of cigarettes I had on me as soon as I bought my first vape, and never looked back.

The airholes are already at their max, and there really isn't much to play around with as far as wattage/temp/voltage goes. Yes you can change the temperature because it's TC mod but the temp at which it isn't scratchy produces no vapor at all, so I get no taste and no nic, and as soon as it starts getting decent the scratchiness comes in. I think you might be right about the airflow. When I hit both of my friends drippers it felt nice and clean, and they had fuckhuge airflows. Didn't put 2+2 together until you mentioned it. I just chalked it up to it them being high quality mods.

Dunno if I can "ghost vape" though, feels like I'm getting ready to suck my vape off, and holding it in the corner feels unnatural. should I just invest in a tank with bigger air holes or a dripper then?

i have a broken sigelli 150w, the same as yours. in taking it apart to fix it i found that directly under the positive terminal for the left battery, there is a small peice of plastic that keeps the battery terminal from touching the 510 connectors positive terminal. if the spring that is inbetween the battery terminal, plastic peice, and 510 positive connection, is somehow touching the + battery terminal, AKA that plastic peice is out of place, it bypasses the controller board, since the negative on the board is just a bridge, and will cause the mod to fire just like a mech mod, but without a switch.

tl;dr
take it apart, make sure the plastic piece above the left battery positive terminal is correctly in place, and not allowing contact with the 510 + terminal.

ive purposely got rid of that plastic piece so i could use mine as a sort of mech mod when it broke,i wish mine wasnt broken :[

I didn't state mine auto fires, because it does not. I was talking about button clipping when I posted. Depending on how I press it it will clip and catch, but my device has a cutoff at 15, regardless, I've never had a problem pushing the button a second time and it wont fire anymore continuously. Mine isn't a defective device. Nor does it auto fire, continuously autofire, or dryfire.

To expand a little more:

" something must be wrong because the device should cut off firing at 15 seconds"

Something must be wrong with his device, not mine, because mine cuts off correctly, his autofires and does not.

"At least I KNOW the 100w plus sigeli does."
At least I KNOW MINE works correctly, maybe not his though.
